00:00Here we go.
00:01Ah!
00:02Stop!
00:03Stop!
00:04You will definitely recognize the family.
00:06Hey!
00:07I am a producer, a main cabin master.
00:11We're looking to get into a place where we can all be.
00:14I was thinking maybe we could try a modular build with this one.
00:18Different style build than we've ever done before.
00:21How's that not letting go?
00:22This is the hottest stage I've been built.
00:24Rob and his family are into rock climbing.
00:27There's nothing little about this project.
00:30We've got a lot to do.
00:31It's going to be down the wire.
00:33Whoa!
00:34Look at that.
00:35Oh, that's cool.
00:52All right, so Chase said to meet him here and he's ice skating.
00:55Hi, Chase!
00:56Morning!
00:57Oh, the ice looks nice.
00:58Are you working on your moves?
01:00I have no moves.
01:01I can't skate things.
01:02I have my other carpal tunnel done.
01:04So I got something to keep me occupied.
01:07Today we are in Auburn, Maine.
01:09But before we meet the homeowners, I thought it would be fun to enjoy some ice skating.
01:13All right, here we go.
01:14Shiitake mushroom!
01:16Ah!
01:17Yes, hold on.
01:18It's just like riding a bike, but it's not even like a bike.
01:20It's not.
01:21Oh!
01:22No, come here!
01:23I gotcha.
01:24Let's go.
01:25Let's see, we're a team.
01:26Hey, we're mixed doubles.
01:27We're mixed doubles.
01:28Okay, I got it.
01:29I got it.
01:30I got it.
01:31I got it.
01:32I got it.
01:33I got it.
01:34Ah!
01:35I have lost my ice skating abilities.
01:36You're too rigid.
01:37You gotta be loose.
01:38I used to think I was out of conscience, just like this.
01:39Ah!
01:40Go with the flow.
01:41Let your arms go.
01:43Here I go.
01:44Here I go.
01:45You're looking...
01:46Hey, you've gone from a...
01:48To a...
01:49You scored me a one.
01:50Now you're gonna put a point in the middle of it.
01:511.5.
01:52Who rates one to five, anyway?
01:54You got this.
01:55Oh, you're getting way better.
01:56Oh, no!
01:57Oh, no!
01:58Okay, stay on the road for a while.
02:00Fortunately, nobody fell.
02:03Looking good, honey.
02:04You got this.
02:05Oh, no!
02:06Oh, no!
02:07Oh, ho, ho, ho!
02:08Fortunately, nobody got dragged around.
02:13Oh, this is a five.
02:14This is a five.
02:15This is a five.
02:16This is a five.
02:17Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
02:21It's a trick in the Olympics.
02:25Synchronized skating?
02:26This is all of them.
02:29I had a great time, I'll tell you.
02:30There's a guy that wasn't even skating.
02:32Score, please.
02:33Five and a five.
02:34You guys did good.
02:35Family we're gonna meet is right over there.
02:38So...
02:39Are we skating there?
02:40No.
02:41We'll take our skates off and go meet the family.
02:42All right.
02:43I'm ready to get these things off.
02:44It's not like riding a bike, you guys.
02:46Oh!
02:47You will definitely recognize the family.
02:49We've worked with them for over 10 years.
02:52Different style build than we've ever done before,
02:54but I'll let the homeowners tell you all about it.
02:57Hey!
02:58Hey!
02:59It's Rob!
03:00My name's Rob.
03:01And my name's Danica.
03:02Hey, everybody!
03:03Hello, Rob and family.
03:04We work with Rob quite a bit.
03:07I am a producer, a Maine cabin master.
03:11Hi, Violet, Sparrow.
03:13Hi, Summer and Lulu.
03:15We've known his daughters since they were little,
03:18and it's great to be able to help him with this project.
03:21Rob, what's going on here?
03:22Well, we're building a house or trying to.
03:25We met three years ago,
03:27and we're raising three girls together.
03:29We've been house hunting for a really long time.
03:32This summer, we bought the land.
03:34I actually grew up hiking on this property
03:36because I grew up right across the road.
03:38So I don't see any tents or anything.
03:40Where are you guys living now?
03:41Yeah.
03:42Separately.
03:43Oh!
03:4420 minutes apart.
03:45Yeah.
03:46Since I got divorced three years ago.
03:48I currently live in my parents' in-law apartment.
03:51It's two rooms.
03:52A room for the girls.
03:53They all sleep in the same bunk bed.
03:54So right now, that's fun and cozy.
03:58But you know, in a couple of years,
03:59it's not going to be big enough.
04:01We're looking to get into a place where we can all be.
04:03Chase added something new for us.
04:05I was thinking maybe we could try, like,
04:07a modular build with this one.
04:09What's modular?
04:10You build it in sections inside,
04:12and then you bring it over,
04:13you put it in cranes, it all walks together.
04:14And you have a finished house.
04:15We want something that's going to be functional.
04:17We want something cost-effective,
04:19and we want something a few months from now.
04:21So you have plans finalized right now?
04:23Yes.
04:24We've got plans finalized.
04:25Rob has been working with the modular company.
04:28We're going to go down.
04:29We're going to check out the factory.
04:30This is kind of where the house is going to go.
04:32How many bedrooms?
04:33Four bedrooms.
04:34Four bedrooms.
04:35All right.
04:36Yeah, one for each girl and one for us.
04:38So this is hopefully going to be a full foundation,
04:41and then there's going to be a slab for the garage.
04:44That's right.
04:45Once all the concrete work is done,
04:48is it really just a matter of bringing in the modular
04:51and plopping it down?
04:53There's still a lot of work to be done.
04:54There's a deck on the side,
04:56and then we're hoping to get a daylight basement.
04:59And then as far as heating system?
05:02We were hoping to get propane.
05:04What about colors?
05:05We love funky, bold colors.
05:07And something really cool we were thinking about
05:10is maybe a black kitchen?
05:12Okay.
05:13Want to know one of the best things?
05:14It's built in a factory,
05:15so we don't have to stand out in the freezing cold all winter.
05:17You're going to love it.
05:18You're probably going to beg for us to do
05:20every project after this like that.
05:22We are probably going to regret this.
05:23And is there anything else you'd like to see done?
05:25I mean, we'd love to see the basement and the garage finished,
05:28and maybe have some landscaping done.
05:31But it's a big house,
05:32and I just don't see how it would be in the budget.
05:36All right. Well, then that brings up
05:37what is your budget for what you'd like to get done?
05:40The budget for the modular portion is $250,000,
05:44and I'm hoping that you guys can work with $50,000
05:47to get the rest of it done.
05:49Okay.
05:50What's your realistic timeframe to have this house completed?
05:53What's realistic?
05:54Next week? No?
05:58We would love like 15 weeks.
06:01Okay.
06:02We'll do what we can to get you in here as soon as possible.
06:04I think this is going to be a blast.
06:08Five out of five.
06:10I'm excited.
06:11Way higher than I got rated.
06:12I think we've got everything we need.
06:13We'll check out the build site.
06:15All right. Sounds good.
06:16All right. See ya.
06:17Bye.
06:18Once the foundation is done,
06:19we're going to build a daylight basement.
06:20On top of that,
06:21we're going to place a four bedroom modular home
06:23that will be built in four sections,
06:25and we'll have a garage.
06:27On the outside,
06:28we'll fill in the windows,
06:29doors and siding where needed,
06:30and add a deck.
06:31On the inside,
06:32we'll need to tie it all together
06:33by installing staircases, trim floors,
06:35and paint the walls.
06:36And Rob will do the rest of the finish work
06:38and landscaping later down the line.
06:40Normally we call the guys,
06:41but I think we have to call the guys
06:43that build the modular home,
06:44and then our guys
06:46and tell them to meet us there.
06:48Okay. Sounds like a plan.
06:49Absolutely.
06:50All right.
06:51This is going to be fun.
06:57That's a big build, man.
06:58We got a whole season of cabins in there.
07:00Good.
07:01We're headed to the modular home factory
07:03that Rob Little,
07:04our homeowner,
07:05has decided to work with.
07:06How's it going?
07:07Hi.
07:08Welcome.
07:09So we're meeting employee Thatcher
07:10who's going to give us a tour of the factory,
07:12tour of the floor,
07:14and we're here to lend a hand
07:16to help build the Little Camp.
07:18How long does it take you guys
07:19to do the average size house?
07:20So it's about two weeks
07:21from the time that something goes in the door
07:23to where it comes out
07:24the other side of the factory.
07:25Exactly.
07:26Two weeks?
07:27Check it out.
07:30Whoa.
07:31This place is huge.
07:33Unreal.
07:34Right?
07:35It's a lot bigger inside
07:36than it looks outside.
07:37It is. It is.
07:38Yeah, we're about 100,000 square feet
07:39under the roof here.
07:40And so our facility is laid out in a U shape.
07:42This is technically where we first start
07:44building our modular boxes.
07:45So this is a floor assembly
07:47that they're taking the floor framing
07:48that just came over out of the saw.
07:50They lay it out,
07:51and then they nail it all together.
07:52And once they deck that,
07:53they'll attach those metal lifting hooks to it
07:54that you can see on that box up there.
07:56And then I'll grab it
07:57with our overhead crane system,
07:58lift it up on top,
07:59and then it goes onto our upjigs
08:00where we then work on the electrical
08:02and the plumbing underneath.
08:03Well, you can see the plumbing holes
08:05that were all pre-cut in here
08:07for us to be able to quickly run
08:08our plumbing and electric.
08:09This is Doug's dream.
08:10Yeah, right?
08:11Yeah, right?
08:12So they are coming along nicely on Rob's.
08:14Little house on the production line.
08:16Little house on the production line.
08:17Yeah, this is the second floor.
08:19Bedroom one, bedroom two, bedroom three.
08:22The little house was in the early framing stages.
08:25It was four sections total.
08:27Looks like they're about to crane over the last section.
08:30It's coming down.
08:33Most of them had their exterior walls framed up.
08:36A few of the walls were still being built.
08:38Who needs what for lumber?
08:40I'm good at carrying lumber,
08:41picking them up and putting them down.
08:43Principles the same.
08:44Pneumatic nail guns,
08:46gas-powered nail guns, staplers.
08:52Just more of an assembly line process.
08:55Interior wall.
09:01These guys have a production line going on.
09:04Things are moving.
09:05Things are happening.
09:06When we're doing something,
09:08that building's permanent.
09:09That's where it's at.
09:10We're moving from area to area.
09:12This, the building, is moving from area to area.
09:14We are definitely out of place.
09:22How's it going?
09:23Chase.
09:24Nice to meet you.
09:25I'm just doing three.
09:28Okay.
09:33They were cranking.
09:34You know, they have to be efficient.
09:35They have to be efficient.
09:36They have to keep moving because
09:37if one station gets backed up,
09:39it backs everything up.
09:41Looks like one section's completed over here
09:43and they're pulling it over to the next side.
09:46It was cool to come and see the actual house
09:48that we're going to be working on being built.
09:52Like, I understand the streamlining of it.
09:54I'm sure it makes it so much more efficient, but...
09:56Not for our brains.
09:57No, not at all.
09:58So it's really hard to kind of jump into that.
09:59It'd be like having somebody show up on one of our job sites
10:02and try and jump in.
10:05Pretty amazing.
10:06They're putting windows in.
10:07These guys are doing electrical.
10:09Something to be said about this way of building.
10:12It's always sunny and 70 in here.
10:14They definitely are efficient
10:15and know what they're doing.
10:16You guys ready to come to work?
10:17Yeah.
10:18During the winter for sure.
10:19So after it's delivered,
10:21what's the next step of the process for us?
10:23Yeah, so once it's delivered,
10:24obviously you'll head into the set
10:26and once that set's complete,
10:28it really is on to that final finish.
10:30Awesome.
10:31Well, this has been very interesting.
10:32Thank you so much.
10:33Yeah, pleasure.
10:34I'm gonna make like a finished house
10:35and get out of here.
10:36Yeah.
10:49Gotta have the right equipment for the job.
10:51Since we were here last at the little house,
10:55foundation hole's been cleared
10:57and getting ready to pour concrete.
11:00Hi, Rob.
11:01Hi, girls.
11:02Hi.
11:03Hey.
11:04How's it going?
11:05Frank is here.
11:06Isn't it beautiful?
11:07Today I'm headed over to meet with Rob and the girls.
11:08I've come over here to pick your brains.
11:09Hopefully you've been thinking about what you want your rooms to look like.
11:13It's a brand new build, so there's lots of details that we need to figure out.
11:14We have got a new building on the way, so let's get down to business.
11:18In terms of decade, we have to figure out color, right?
11:19I want a blue room.
11:20A blue room.
11:21A blue room.
11:22You have a wall color choice?
11:23Green.
11:24Green.
11:25Green.
11:26You have a choice?
11:27Pink.
11:28Pink, all right.
11:29Now what else?
11:30What are you into?
11:31Are there any activities that you like?
11:32Rock climbing.
11:33Rock climbing.
11:34Yeah.
11:35I actually built a rock climbing wall.
11:50It's in little pieces, but certain openings for your entire rooms.
11:54in little pieces but definitely we'd love an upgrade for that okay maybe i can get the guys
12:00to come with me we can go do it together well now's your chance is there anything else you
12:04can think of i'm gonna get bunnies bunnies yeah all right chase used that bunnies so i know that
12:11he has old bunny houses so i'm gonna head over to his house and see if i can spruce those up
12:17well thanks for meeting with me today yeah i love working with the kids and so i'm gonna go over
12:23top i want to make it special for each one of them all right we'll see you soon rob see you back at
12:27work yep okay bye bye
12:40it's beautiful spring monday at the little job site the foundation walls have been poured back filled
12:48the foundation floors are in so today it's a matter of getting the sill plates in place
12:54getting the daylight basement walls framed up so that we are ready for when that house gets set
13:02the house is currently on the production line so this has to be ready to go because
13:07they're moving along and we don't want to slow them down oh they sent the first piece
13:28as far as center i gotta go to you about three quarters we're here at the little modular house
13:33today and it's set day beautiful that's about uh weeks of labor right there all four pieces are here
13:42locking them together we're spectating today yes this is definitely not our area of expertise at all so
13:49we're standing back staying out of the way as much as possible the garage doesn't come as boxes it comes
13:55as the walls and then the roof that gets all locked together fill up
14:03and then the set crew roofs that
14:07i'm very i can't believe how fast it comes together we just did a two months of work in
14:13a couple hours yeah i didn't break a sweat did you that's awesome but there's still a lot of work to be
14:18done right over here for now so rob's girls have asked for bunnies i know that chase used to have
14:30bunnies he mentioned he had an old bunny house so i went picked it up if you want to take this off
14:35okay i'll cut the board okay the one board on the top was rotted off so that's pretty much all it needed
14:41it was in really good shape all righty i just wanted to freshen it up and you know decorate it
14:51boom
14:54okay there we go new bunny roof do you think you'd be a roofer in your day no but i'm excited to have
15:00this skill you can add roof into your repertoire it'll look good when we add the little finishing
15:04touches let's do it let's do this i like the color
15:08it's for three little girls pop it up pop it up you know i thought a perfect thing add some flowers
15:16this is looking way better than when you first brought it in
15:21this is the cutest little bunny house ever i think that's a huge upgrade at this point now
15:25we just need to wait for it to dry we're going to seal it off so that the acrylic paint doesn't
15:29wash off let it dry and we'll come back these are the luckiest bunnies in the world
15:38so a lot of construction's been happening at the little house garage walls are up they're just
15:45finishing putting the roof on that then you enter into the mud room outside door backyard door garage
15:53door and then leads you into the main house you've got a first floor bathroom here dining room there you
16:01can see where the different sections come together so it's four sections total back section front
16:06section same thing upstairs kitchen cabinets are all in place just needs appliances stairways i got
16:13questions you got parts are there instructions somewhere yes you can see that floors still need to go in
16:20but walls are done windows are trimmed out baseboard heat is in place now it's just a matter of figuring out
16:27what's what what's where and what's left it's very deceiving how much work there's a lot of work
16:33staircase up to the second floor needs to be installed so that's really the first thing we tackle
16:38for transport they just temporarily put these staircases in place so we're essentially going to just
16:43lift them up to where they need to be and go from there you guys tell me when okay ready okay ready
16:50one two three can you there you go keep going yeah yeah okay
17:02you guys are safe for the time being wait wait wait wait whoa something doesn't look right
17:09we're like eight inches too high what did we get ourselves into we have to custom cut the stairs
17:21so i thought it was a fun friday we learned really quickly uh it's not as easy as it looks we call this
17:27on the job learning let's see what the plans say oh the plans most homes you do get a set of drawings
17:34other than something on a napkin or a woodshed menu gc that would be you chase to remove rails on the
17:44stair area opening so it's saying basically the first stair tread is flush with this yeah exactly
17:52it's flush with that wall so it is back to this it is back to that weird so the issue with the stairs
18:01on the second floor we had to remove about six seven inches of material to be able to get the
18:07stairs to lay where they're supposed to land get up any more batteries fortunately and unfortunately
18:17everything in a modular home is very well fastened one done glued how's that not letting go and screwed
18:25on the cup i'm gonna make a bat we can build those stairs down below quicker than we can put these
18:31down i wouldn't have bet that 20 minutes ago so it took a little bit to get those pieces out oh my
18:37come on i think it was a lot of work there that doesn't come on i'm quitting
18:42oh wow gosh this is the hottest stains i've been built okay okay you hold it we're gonna have to go back
19:00all right ready okay you got it i'm gonna go over here ready oh yeah what ah good good we're there
19:12we fought those things we're now on to get the stairs into the basement area i got it on the run baby
19:30yeah so part of the foundation design is that rob little wanted a daylight basement so we had to frame
19:38up some walls before the house got set and we needed to sheathe everything with half inch osb
19:44to match up what was on the rest of the house while dixie and ryan were working on getting all the pieces
19:51cut for the stairs
19:56drum roll yeah i grabbed my tape i was just filling in spots where i could all right
20:02oh yeah the set of stairs that we made was very easy apparently stairs were not included in the
20:11price for the basement really it was just as well that we built them they're just a basic framing
20:18staircase to be able to get down for egress to the basement
20:22so i'm cutting the treads for the stairs that we're building these with 13 at 37 inches all right
20:34that's a big set of stairs yeah um okay
20:37how do we fit like our glove better than the upstairs ones geez way easier
20:51nice and tight nice and tight yeah see stairs are done stairs are done fantastic and the next steps
21:09would be final siding on the exterior sheathing and wrapping the daylight basement and finishing the
21:16interior learned a lot today back at colby athletic complex here we go that's what we're known for
21:31right yeah hello hello today i asked the guys to meet me up in waterville at colby college to kind
21:40of look at the rock wall to see how it was built this is rebecca rebecca this is the guys hi guys
21:45good morning she and a couple of the other rock climbers are going to be here helping us out
21:49today for a little activity a little inspirational activity for the little camp a little about this
21:57rob and his family his three little girls they all are into rock climbing so who's ready to rock climb
22:04looking at this it makes you want to climb back into bed right it's not a little wall is it any other
22:10jokes just us on that wall yeah all right i have faith in you guys i don't know
22:15anything about it to be honest which is the easy one it's the easiest one it would be that one right
22:20there the gray black one it doesn't look very easy how do you tighten these the guys have a little bit
22:26of experience got you guys all fitted out with our harnesses and our climbing shoes you can check that
22:33your piece here is double backed what does double fact mean double backed means that it goes through
22:39like both of these little loops i'm double sacked am i double double that you're double back
22:45we are learning today at colby he grabbed these and do a nice little tug
22:50if it doesn't it that one maybe needs to be a little tighter there they are hi guys
22:58hi hey girls it's rob and all the little rob rob if you're climbing who's filming i mean you want to
23:09we got to get a record of this put the headphone on okay i don't even know where to walk i'm a newbie
23:17auto focus only oh wait i'm not supposed to be talking jenna where are we the little family is
23:22gonna climb a big wall and they're gonna show us how to do it i think i will make it a foot off the
23:26ground dixie have you climbed before yes i have many moons ago what's your technique gonna be my
23:33technique is gonna be don't fall dixie tell me what's happening so we are here just waiting for
23:38a sparrow to climb the red and she's probably gonna run up it and make us all look like fools but
23:43that's what young kids do all right you're up next climbing climb on is there a trick to this
23:49yes don't let go um come on you got it bud here's my belt yeah violet violet look you look like
23:59you're on circus all right you did it yeah yeah
24:06right dixie climbing oh dixie yes
24:09nice damn all right the guys did way better than i expected
24:18oh good job dixie i still got it
24:22those other guys going first wasn't very cool done
24:26it put a lot of pressure on climbing oh i'm already slipping slow down jenna nice job ash
24:33what is what is this what is this use your legs use your legs i did as good as i expected i was
24:42gonna do nice job jedi
24:49should be fairly simple to build the climbing wall i mean obviously to do the angles and stuff it gets a
24:54little more complicated but you build your frame and then it's just plywood with those clips behind
25:02yeah just looking behind the wall to see how the holds were fastened on you know it's this plywood
25:08wall it's at least three quarter inch thick and they just have these clips drill a hole screw them
25:14to the back and throw them in it looks like they're all about six inches apart i got tons of inspiration
25:19i need to go home and do some push-ups see ya bye guys bye
25:32things are looking great at the little project all right you're going in that hole
25:42tap it out right there okay all right i'm gonna go to lunch
25:50the roof is pretty much wrapped up and we're ready for windows i'm gonna bring the windows around
25:56all right all right are you picking teams yeah today at the little camp we had two major projects
26:13that needed to get done the rock wall needed to get built and the girls bedrooms needed to be painting
26:17hey hey no no no we need those today you're part of the painting team over the weekend the guys got
26:25the basic frame together for the rock wall and painted some bold colors downstairs i met with
26:30the three girls and they each chose a color so i have those three colors upstairs in the coordinated
26:35rooms i'm gonna build the rock wall okay i'll paint a room for you i'll paint a room what do you guys
26:40want to do they want to work with you actually clearly they want these rollers let's go honeys i got my morals
26:46today you guys are going to not be able to be in here you're going to be pink and teal and purple
26:54these are some bold colors so we're just going to divide and conquer look at how good of a cutter
26:59runner i am see that cut it out i can't really cut so that takes time and patience so chase now
27:06you're going to call the rooms and i can come behind rock and roll violet went with green which i think is
27:11funny in the meantime i'm going to take off all the plates well i do not light me in a room
27:16that's so white like this i'm a little bit nervous i'm actually really nervous my strategy is not make
27:22a mess where did these come from oh this was his old one oh oh yeah rob had previously had a climbing
27:32wall he had dismantled it and he kept all the pieces so it's going to save us a lot of time so
27:39we're going to try and use as much as this as we can we'll be mounting this in no time i've never
27:44done a rock wall before no me neither well let's work on the cheeks get the cheeks rolling first
27:53well that is not the same at all so it is not built the same way as the other one
28:03so we're gonna have to cut a lot of stuff these aren't even it's only remotely close to the same
28:17angle i just held one in place so today to build the rock climbing wall we're using recycled climbing
28:24wall material it's a little bit smaller say we screw it up in trace it cut it
28:33install it you know we like to try and reuse everything so we're gonna see what we can
28:38do to make all this stuff work all right yeah number one number one factory
28:55okay same thing other side
28:56yeah fletcher on point stop putting some handles on we'll give them a good handhold here they can
29:08move the handholds to have less handholds and they have the corners now they can play with
29:13let's see jared tested the rock wall out
29:16uh fletcher tested the rock wall out
29:28it will be nice with a nice pad they can kind of free climb i think it will be wonderful for them
29:33to play out there now make your way over to the monkey bars and come up all the way across this way
29:37oh goodness i don't know if i can right here i'm cutting in where ryan has already rolled
29:47ryan's got some holidays up in this joint wait wait wait wait wait wait a holiday doesn't
29:53holiday is many things to many people let me see you had a holiday right here's a holiday
30:00holiday is when you have a drip or a spot where you just totally forgot to paint all together look at
30:06that see that right here holiday it's a holiday if i didn't catch that that would be a holiday
30:10because they were lazy they took a break and they just went on holiday well i think the europeans
30:14holiday is you know vacation i'm working on not getting paint everywhere first okay fine to
30:19ashley and most painters in maine it's when you mess up still a holiday heard that
30:26i have a lot of holidays so i should get some more time off when ryan's not on holiday all you hear is
30:30talking none done done done done colors are bright they are lively just like those little girls let's
30:42go check on the rock wall we have to paint it now the pattern didn't come together but i like the
30:49mountains i figured we'd do mountains again but ashley had a different vision kind of picturing you know
30:53a quarter of a sun with some rays coming out of it this was more of an abstract vision i think
30:58i say if everybody gets a paintbrush come on it'll be a team building exercise it was the end of the
31:04day and i had a whole crew there so i just ran with it fletch where's the key for this buddy chase
31:11yeah we took the holds off the paint needs to dry and once it does dry and we go and touch it up
31:16we'll go and put the holds right back on look at that cut job right there boom how many of us can paint it
31:29you're done nice job once this dries we'll come in and reattach all the holds we're going to get
31:35you know all the protective gear some mats to go below it in case there are any little tumbles
31:40and i think the girls are going to absolutely love it thanks everybody all right good work okay wrap
31:45it up so we're at the little project and what keeps going through my mind is uh i love a good oxymoron
32:03there's nothing little about this project we got a lot to do but it's coming together
32:07we got trim to do on the first floor stretch that muscle
32:17the team has been cranking i've been here today to help them out kitchen will be done today
32:22looking good here the guys did a great job today with the archway getting everything together
32:26you know most of work is where the four quarters of the house came together
32:32we really want to try to get a deck in for the homeowners before
32:36the reveal so we're really going to try to focus on that the last two days
32:43down below we got the hot water tank downstairs
32:48upstairs you see all the fans and stuff it's so humid in maine hasn't been drying so we have fans
32:53everywhere and we're trying to get stuff to dry quickly there's only so much you can do when it's
32:58this humid out it's going to be down the wire
33:06and you've got to remember this is a huge house to stage as well so the little project
33:10is uh becoming a big one done we're down the wire but we'll make it happen
33:22all right bunny cage so today we are giving the house to the little family cleaned up nicely didn't
33:30it yes it did this is a big house but we're fortunate enough to have a lot of furniture from
33:36rob and then we kind of just added our own touches there's some real bold colors that's what they
33:43love every single room i think in there is a different color but it works for them all told
33:49rob had three hundred thousand dollars to put into this project we had a small piece of it the rest
33:54went to the modular home factory to the foundation to the earthwork keep going and we had about 15 weeks
34:00to get this project completed so that they have a home they can move into oh my goodness wow oh my
34:06gosh look at that oh my gosh oh my gosh that's so pretty that is cool it's huge it is huge isn't it
34:16yeah hey rob welcome to your new home hey what do you think so overwhelmed yeah whoa it looks awesome
34:26it's amazing you love it this is quite the shift before everything was cleared out it was so difficult
34:32to imagine doing anything here and it just looks amazing so you guys had asked for a four bedroom home
34:42year-round so this was definitely a little different for us when we first started there was just lots of
34:48rocks for the foundation we needed to build a daylight basement wall so you have walk out access from the
34:54basement and you've got a beautiful new furnace for the heating the house and your hot water
35:00and then they brought in a crane and brought the home in in four sections stood up the walls for the
35:07garage put a roof on it and let us at it it's so nice well can we go inside head on in all right all right
35:16all right oh look at that color wow oh the kitchen wow it's black that's cool yeah oh my gosh i love
35:32this oh it's such a nice kitchen i'm obsessed let's go check out your new deck whoa
35:38wow wow wow wow this is nice a deck is really cool this is gonna be the perfect spot
35:51to hang out right especially once we get our landscaping in overlooking the woods you can hear
35:57all the birds it's so relaxing let's keep the tour going keep the tour going all right i'll see how
36:03going on what do you think wow oh my gosh i knew it was going to be a nice house but it looks like
36:12our nice house it looks like we would live here liby are you excited to fill the rug with hair
36:19hair oh that's right that's your job head on to the green room oh whoa okay this is awesome wow art
36:31supplies we have tons of art supplies the best part is upstairs so i think we should head up there
36:39yeah okay ready yeah look at that whoa whoa you know whose room this is mine my favorite
36:49part of the house is my room this is it's very you i liked how it was a very light color go this way oh boy
37:01this is so cute that is cool look at that summer and then last but not least yep my favorite part
37:11of the house is my bedroom i am so excited to not share a room with them when there's
37:18sleeping they're always kicking me and summer always turns around and so she's laying straight across
37:26the bed whoa look at the bathroom oh my gosh oh i love that color i love that color so much
37:35that's pretty that's so pretty yeah the bedroom whoa oh i love this color
37:43oh my god we've been talking about something like this on the wall this is gorgeous yeah lots of space
37:53yeah the difference between having a bedroom with a kitchen a living room and an office in it
38:01oh and there's a bathroom you guys get a bathroom well we get a bathroom yeah and having a bedroom
38:09with a bathroom and it's just like the difference is amazing couldn't be a game changer so let's uh head
38:16out to the garage whoa whoa oh that's cool it's a rock wall we wanted to add a little color to your rock wall
38:31lots of color lots of color that's a big garage and to put a rock wall in there oh my gosh
38:38it's gonna get a lot of use let's head outside you mentioned that you are getting bunnies so chase
