00:08Ofsted carried out an inspection in November following years of scrutiny after the death of six-year-old Arthur Libinjo-Hughes.
00:15Services had previously been judged inadequate in 2022.
00:19Inspectors say leadership has delivered progress, with most children living in stable, supportive homes.
00:26However, the watchdog says more work is needed around care planning, permanence and listening consistently to children's voices.
00:35The council says it accepts the findings, knows there's more to do and remains committed to protecting children and helping them thrive going forward.
