00:00I worked tirelessly for 10 years to fill one dream to become a K-pop idol.

00:06And I was rejected and disappointed that my voice wasn't good enough.

00:13And so I leaned on songs and music to get through it.

00:19So now I'm here as a singer and a songwriter.

00:23You guys are being so generous with this affection for me and this film.

00:31And I'll take it.

00:33I'll take it with the love that it's given and the appreciation.

00:37I love doing what I do, so this is just fun.

00:42We shoot our show in these long, continuous takes.

00:45And part of the reason I wanted to do that is it doesn't work unless the whole crew really comes together to make it work.

00:50And so I really want to thank our crew, most of whom don't get invited to this, but they should.

00:57And I don't know how to say all my gratitude for 54 years in 60 seconds.

01:03I've been inspired by so many people, many of whom I've got the great honor of being nominated with this evening.
