00:00For the majority of last week, Joe, we had the favorites, the Houston Texans,
00:03which they're still the favorites today, but they were favored by three and a half.
00:06That number is not in the marketplace anymore.
00:08It's the Texans by three and a total of 38 and a half.
00:12Cold conditions tonight, but not ultra freezing.
00:14Weather conditions, any snow?
00:16Nope.
00:17Rain?
00:17Uh-uh.
00:18And also winds under 10 miles an hour, which should help out the offenses
00:21because they're going to need it tonight, Joe.
00:23Your thoughts early today on a Monday on the Texans still being favored
00:27and what we possibly are getting a look at tonight.
00:30Well, it's, again, we've seen the public loves themselves some Houston Texans here
00:37and can't figure out why it is that this line is moving towards Pittsburgh.
00:42But it's one of those situations we know in the wild card, Donnie, forever now.
00:48I think now over 80 games, the last 80-plus wild card games,
00:55the winner wins in covers, right?
00:58We never get a situation.
01:00And we got the rare one with the Rams that won but didn't cover.
01:04But that was the biggest spread that we have seen in wild card history.
01:07So the 10 and a half was over the top, but they won the game.
01:11But for the most part, you never get a win and don't cover.
01:15So whoever, don't bet a team like Pittsburgh if you don't think they can win this game outright.
01:20Because it's almost a 90% trend here going back 80-plus games.
01:25If you like Pittsburgh, sure, you can take the three, but you better take them on the money line.
01:31And the same thing here with Houston.
01:33Spreads rarely come into play in the wild card round.
01:36And it feels like this line moving towards Pittsburgh, yeah, it feels like the market believes,
01:43at least the influential bettors believe, that Pittsburgh can not only cover this,
01:47but is going to win this game outright.
01:50And I like the chances because I think I trust, believe it or not, Aaron Rodgers more than I trust C.J. Stroud.
01:56I trust the Pittsburgh offense more than I trust the Houston offense.
02:01And I think that's going to matter in this spot.
02:03And I think that's going to matter in this spot.
