00:00And we're going to start with a little Aaron Rodgers
00:02talking about those special playoff moments here.
00:04I embrace all the moments.
00:06I enjoy all of it.
00:07There's a lot of beauty in the mundane.
00:08The mundane is the Monday to Saturday where you can actually win games.
00:12And I embrace that part of the job.
00:14I loved it.
00:15That's why I'm still here, still playing.
00:17Obviously, the icing on the cake is game day.
00:20But Monday to Saturday is where you win games.
00:22Have you pushed that on those guys about the importance of the mundane?
00:25I mean, you've got to ask them.
00:28I hope so.
00:28It's what I've been about my entire career.
00:31It's the beauty and the details and the small things that show up on game day.
00:36And a conversation that might happen on a Monday or a Tuesday at my house
00:39or Wednesday in this meeting here is going to show up on game day.
00:43So we've got to be locked in.
00:44When you step in the building, there's a professionalism that doesn't turn off
00:50when you're doing any type of rep.
00:52When you're sitting in the classroom, those are all important moments
00:54to get ready to play on Sunday.
00:56Because, like I said, you can win games Monday to Saturday
00:59if you have the details down right away.
01:02There you go, Aaron Rodgers ready to roll, getting into that weight room here,
01:07getting into that meeting room and saying, win those games, not on Sundays or Mondays,
01:10but win them throughout the week here, Joe.
01:12And we take a look, Houston and Pittsburgh, Monday night football, three and a half point
01:16favorite.
01:17Not to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
01:18It's the Texans here.
01:20And a total, Joe, 39 and a half.
01:22How about that?
01:22Yeah, yeah, I know.
01:25Low total here.
01:25But again, I mentioned it last hour.
01:28I'll mention it again.
01:29Of all the games, this one, you better be, you better know what the weather situation
01:34is going to be like.
01:35Because as good as this Houston defense has been, they are a different team indoors
01:40than they are outdoors.
01:42And now you add in the elements, not just for the defense, but CJ Stroud and the offense.
01:48I need to know, is this going to be a seven degree game here with 20 mile an hour winds?
01:54Is it going to be 40 degrees?
01:56I think that's going to go a long way in helping us have a better understanding of whether this
02:00game has a chance of going over or if this thing is a dead under, which is likely the
02:05way I'll be looking one way or the other.
02:08How about DK Metcalf talking about being back in the building from a suspension?
02:13No, I can't.
02:13What was that process like as far as the appeals and talking with the NFL?
02:19Just kind of, can you walk us through that process?
02:20I can't walk y'all through nothing that happened.
02:22Were you surprised that the appeal was about me?
02:25Didn't go the other way?
02:26Yeah, but it's hard to say.
02:28I respect that you don't and can't really go into a lot of it, but is there anything
02:32you would like to clarify about misinformation or anything else?
02:36I can't say nothing about what happened.
02:38Is that because there's-
02:40I can't say anything about what happened for the fifth time.
02:44How excited are you from Monday night to get out there, be back out there with your teammates?
02:47Thank you, Mr. Risa.
02:48I'm excited as hell to be back in the building around my teammates, being in meetings, going
02:53to practice, all the things that encompass a week of preparation.
02:57He can't say anything, not from an NFL perspective, Joe, but from a civil lawsuit here, because
03:02what he said and what goes to discovery on what he says allegedly that person said in
03:07the stands, that could be worth millions of dollars.
03:09So he's smart to just keep his mouth shut and say no comment at that point, but him being
03:13back to that offense gives them a weapon on the outside that they desperately need.
03:18Yeah, big time.
03:19A different team with him on the field.
03:22And yeah, they're going to have their hands full here.
03:27And again, no more experience than the guy under center who will be throwing him the ball
03:31there in Aaron Rodgers, who seems to be playing at a level that is much closer to the Aaron
03:37Rodgers of old than anything we saw with the Jets, thank goodness.
