Her words carry the weight of history — and the light of hope.

🕊️ “The message is — do not hate.
Teach your children not to hate.
Teach them from small, before school even,
that the child who is different from you can still be your friend.
Don’t hate him — accept him.
Most of mankind has so much in common,
and the little differences are so unimportant.”

These are the words of Dita Kraus, the Czech-born Holocaust survivor known as the “Librarian of Auschwitz.”
Her story — from Prague and Theresienstadt, through Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen — reminds the world that compassion can survive even in darkness.
