01:48Without further ado, please welcome Patty James
02:12So as we are in the midst of the Feast of the Lord
02:17I want to talk a little bit because I'm very much aware that a lot of people
02:20Do not know or are not aware or understand anything about the Feast
02:26And I know some of you that are new that are joining us
02:30Now WordUp is very much familiar with it because we've been doing it for years now
02:34And we're so grateful that God had, you know, began to teach us and lead us how to, you know, just observe
02:43And just, you know, pay attention to what God is doing during this time of year
02:47And now a lot of people, churches, whatever, don't believe it's necessary, you know, because they're thinking from a mind of salvation
03:00Well, Jesus paid it all, you know, we don't need to do that
03:03We don't need to do this because Jesus did
03:06And we're very much aware of that, of course he did
03:08The Feast is not about salvation
03:11It's not about being saved, not about getting saved
03:14It's simply about worship
03:16It's about a special time of the year
03:18You know, where you simply, God invites you to join him during his time
03:23And, you know, you've gotten invitations before
03:27And you had the option of answering it or, you know, turning it down
03:30Well, the same way, God doesn't force or make anyone
03:33But it's literally something that you decide, wow, I want to participate
03:39I want to be a part of the Feast of the Lord
03:41And so that's why we wanted to just kind of fill some in
03:45Because it's really not about being saved
03:47You know, the minute you tell somebody that, you know, well, I'm observing the Feast
03:52Or, you know, I'm doing this or that
03:53And anything concerning the Feast, especially a very large part of the body of Christ
03:59Because they just don't know, they're just not aware of it
04:01Excuse me
04:03And so they're going to tell you, well, you don't have to do that
04:05Because Jesus paid it all, you know, to save
04:08And, you know, we don't, of course, he did
04:10But that's not what it's about, okay
04:13It's not about salvation, getting saved, being saved
04:17It's all about a time of worship
04:20And setting aside the time to really, you know
04:24Just have some real serious one-on-one with the Lord
04:28And I appreciate it so much because we've been doing it for years
04:31Let me read a couple of scriptures to you
04:33And again, I hope you're joining me because
04:36Many of you, like I said, are not as familiar with this
04:40That's why we wanted to do this
04:42And we look forward to hearing from you as well
04:45We want your questions, your opinions, your comments, your praise reports
04:49Anything is open for this time, all right?
04:52So let me read to you Leviticus 23 and 2
04:56And if you want to just write it down, it's no big deal
04:57You know, it's nothing that I'm not trying to teach
05:01I'm just trying to inform, okay?
05:03All right, so Leviticus 23 and 2 says this
05:06Speak unto the children of Israel
05:09And say unto them concerning the feast of the Lord
05:12Which you shall proclaim to be a holy convocation
05:16Even these are my feasts
05:19Okay, he's very specific because for years
05:22And even I thought, well, these were the Jews
05:25The feast of the Jews or the Jews' feasts
05:27And even in the Bible you see different ones referring to them
05:31As the Jews, the feast of the Jews
05:33Why was it just the feast of the Jews?
05:36Because the Jews were the only ones that were keeping it
05:39It wasn't a real interest to anybody else
05:44So even I was saying it, you know
05:47When the Lord was really dealing with me and teaching me about it
05:50I thought, well, that's for the Jews, you know
05:52They don't believe in Jesus, so I guess that's what they do
05:54So they can
05:55But no, it's really the Lord's time
05:58And it's a time when you can really hear from the Lord
06:00If you really, you know, take it serious
06:02Put the time aside
06:03And, you know, Lord, I really, you know
06:05I want to spend this time with you
06:06It will be worth it, I promise you
06:08It will be worth it
06:10Just take a moment and hear what we have to say, alright
06:14So he says, you know
06:15Speak to the children of Israel
06:18Now we know Israel at that time was God's chosen
06:20Today we are his chosen
06:22We don't replace Israel, okay
06:25We've been grafted in
06:27And that's important because some teach that
06:29Israel is no longer, you know
06:32Considered God's, you know
06:34Chosen or whatever people want to teach about
06:36And that's just not true, okay
06:38We are engrafted in
06:40We're all one
06:41And let me read you a couple more scriptures
06:44So you can get it
06:45In that same 23rd chapter of Leviticus
06:48It goes on to say
06:49It shall be a feast unto me forever
06:51Okay
06:52He hasn't changed it
06:55Forever means forever
06:57So he has not changed it
06:59And it's something that I'm hoping
07:02That you can really receive
07:04As we're sharing this with you today
07:06Now look at some of the things
07:08That are taking place right now
07:10While we're in this season
07:11Exodus 23 and 20 says this
07:15Behold, I send an angel before you
07:18In the way
07:19And to bring you into the place
07:22Which I have prepared for you
07:25Saints, everybody has a specific place
07:28That God is trying to get you to
07:30In your spirit
07:32You know there's some place
07:33You need to be right now
07:35And you're not there
07:37One of the things that even got me
07:39Encouraged to follow through with this
07:42Was that I knew I wasn't where
07:44I really needed to be
07:46Where I wanted to be
07:47Where I was supposed to be
07:48And everybody can sense that
07:50Anybody who has any kind of relationship
07:51The Lord
07:52At some point you can
07:53You can just sense
07:55You know
07:55I know I'm supposed to be
07:57Further than this
07:57I know I'm supposed to be
07:58Better than this
07:59This is not the way
08:00It's supposed to be
08:01And that is what God uses
08:03To draw you into
08:05Where he's trying to get you
08:07He has a place for you
08:09It's a divine presence
08:11That he will bring you into
08:13And you know
08:14Guess what
08:14If you're not saved
08:15You can get saved
08:16You know
08:17If you're not delivered
08:18You can be delivered
08:19This is a wonderful time of year
08:21Now I'll get to
08:23A little part of the Passover
08:24Because that seems to be
08:25What we're in
08:26We are literally having
08:27Another
08:27You know
08:29A 2020
08:30This century
08:31Passover
08:32It's really
08:34Actually happening
08:35So let me look at
08:37Just a couple more scriptures
08:39I'm not going to give you
08:40A whole lot
08:40But just enough
08:41For you to understand
08:42Why we do it
08:43We've been doing it
08:44Like I said
08:44For years now
08:45And the Lord
08:47Has blessed us
08:47Sustained us
08:48Brought us through
08:49A whole lot of things
08:50That normally
08:51You know
08:51You'd be really struggling with
08:53And right now
08:55You can really release
08:56Everything you got
08:57To the Lord
08:57And realize
08:58All the worries
08:59That you have
08:59You need to
09:00You don't have to do that
09:01You know
09:02We've been teaching
09:03About kingdom
09:03All of this
09:04Is about
09:05You know
09:06Understanding the kingdom
09:07Of the Lord
09:07All right
09:08Now
09:09Let me give you
09:11Just a couple
09:11Of New Testament
09:12Because most of you
09:13I'm sure you're seeing
09:13Right now
09:14Well that's all
09:14Old Testament
09:15That's Old Testament
09:16Look at what Corinthians
09:17First Corinthians 5
09:19And 8
09:19Says this
09:20Therefore let us
09:22Keep the feast
09:23And then he explains
09:24Okay
09:25Not with old leavened
09:27Or with sins
09:27And things that you
09:28You know
09:29Are still doing
09:30It's a good time
09:31To put off those things
09:32Neither with the leaven
09:34Of malice
09:34Okay
09:35All this hatred
09:36And anger
09:36And wickedness
09:37But unleavened bread
09:39Unleavened means
09:40Without sin
09:41Of sincerity
09:43And truth
09:44This is how
09:45We come before the Lord
09:46This is how
09:47We keep his feast
09:48We come earnestly
09:49That God would fix
09:50Whatever is not right
09:51In our lives
09:51And he's the only one
09:53That can do it anyway
09:53You know
09:54It tickles me
09:55When I invite people
09:56To church
09:57Or to a service
09:58Or something
09:59And they say
10:00Well when I get
10:00Myself together
10:01If you could get
10:02Yourself together
10:03You wouldn't need
10:04Church or the Lord
10:05Or anything
10:05You can't really
10:06Do it yourself
10:07You need that extra help
10:09To help you to do it
10:10Now
10:11A couple of others
10:13Jesus went up
10:16Into the temple
10:17He says
10:18It was around
10:18About the time
10:20Of the feast
10:21Jesus went up
10:22Into the temple
10:23And he taught
10:24And so during this time
10:26Yes
10:26We do teach
10:27We do a lot
10:28Of instructing
10:30And helping people
10:31To understand
10:31How to improve
10:33Their relationship
10:34You know
10:35With the Lord
10:36And I tell you
10:37Just no better time
10:38Everything is working
10:39In your favor
10:40To strengthen
10:41Your relationship
10:41Why we're in this
10:42You know
10:43Time of pandemic
10:44As they say
10:45You can't go anywhere
10:46You can't do anything
10:47What a great time
10:49To strengthen
10:50Your bonds
10:51With the Lord
10:51To strengthen
10:52Your prayer life
10:53To me
10:54It's just ideal
10:54Ideal
10:55It's really perfect
10:56To me
10:57Now he also goes on
10:59To say
10:59These are the feasts
11:00Of the Lord
11:01You'll hear that
11:01Over and over again
11:02As you read Exodus
11:03And Leviticus
11:04You'll read those
11:0523rd chapters
11:06And they say
11:07It's the feast
11:08Of the Lord
11:08It's the Lord's feast
11:10Now feast means
11:11Literally
11:13A set time
11:14An appointed time
11:16Alright
11:17In Hebrew
11:18It's a moed
11:19It means literally
11:20The time of the Lord
11:22Okay
11:23It's a time
11:24That's been appointed
11:25By God
11:26It's a time
11:26Of preparation
11:27It's getting ready
11:29For
11:29And you know what
11:30I love it
11:31Because
11:32Yes
11:32It helps you
11:33To get ready
11:33For what it is
11:34You've been praying
11:35For
11:35We have a real habit
11:37Of praying for things
11:39That we haven't
11:39Prepared to receive
11:40And it's amazing to me
11:42Because if it's about
11:43Entering into a place
11:45That you've never been
11:47What makes you think
11:48You know
11:49You know
11:50How it's going to work
11:52Or what you're supposed to do
11:54How you're supposed to conduct yourself
11:55We don't know these things
11:56So
11:57All of this prepares us
11:59And God begins to teach us
12:01Literally
12:01How to come into
12:03His time
12:04So we can come into
12:05What is ours
12:06Okay
12:07He is the host
12:08Jehovah God
12:09Alright
12:10And we
12:11The people
12:12Are his guest
12:13Now
12:14The
12:14Other scripture
12:16I wanted to share
12:17Let me see
12:20Let me see

12:20I've got so many of them
12:21Literally
12:24Actually
12:26There are seven feasts
12:27Of the Lord
12:27We won't go through
12:28All of them now
12:28We just want to focus
12:30On the Passover
12:30It's the 14th
12:31Of the first month
12:32Of what is called
12:33Even
12:34It's the 14th
12:37Of the first month
12:38Okay
12:39And it starts in the evening
12:40That's why we said
12:41It's sundown
12:41Six o'clock today
12:42We want to
12:43Literally begin that
12:44Consecration
12:44Unto the Lord
12:45Into
12:45Tomorrow
12:47Okay
12:48It's the Lord's Passover
12:51We understand that
12:52And Passover
12:54Was also
12:55Now this is what's so powerful
12:56This is why we needed to fast
12:58Because it's also
13:00A judgment
13:00Against the enemy
13:01When you read
13:03In Exodus
13:03In Israel
13:04When they were coming out
13:06And the Lord
13:07Instituted the Passover
13:08The idea
13:10Of it was
13:11To literally
13:12Eliminate
13:13The enemy
13:13From their lives
13:14Okay
13:15So that you'll understand
13:16That the enemy
13:17You see today
13:18You will see no more
13:20This enemy virus
13:21That we see today
13:23We will see no more
13:24If we come together
13:25And do what the Lord
13:26Has given us
13:27And instructed us to do
13:28You know
13:29We can bring it to an end
13:30Now I know many
13:31Well that's kind of bold
13:33Well this is the instructions
13:35Of the scriptures
13:35Let them have dominion
13:37We keep trying to pull God
13:39Into something
13:39That he has given us
13:40The power and authority
13:41To do
13:42And if enough of us
13:43Get together
13:44There's no reason why
13:45It can't come to an end
13:47And I mean
13:48Now we can do this
13:49Because that's what
13:50We're here for
13:51Let them have dominion
13:53In the earth
13:53Let them
13:54Okay
13:55God is not going to
13:56Violate his spiritual laws
13:57That are in place
13:58And just kind of
13:59Jump in
14:00And do what we
14:01Want him to do
14:01You know
14:02We have to do
14:03What we have been
14:04Authorized to do
14:05And as we said
14:06Before in the scriptures
14:07Whatsoever we bind
14:09In earth
14:09Heaven has our back
14:10He will bind
14:11In the heavens
14:12Whatsoever we lose
14:13He will also
14:14But notice
14:15We have to do
14:16Something first
14:17Okay
14:17All right
14:20So it was a judgment
14:22Against the enemy
14:24All right
14:24And they were instructed
14:26How to go about it
14:27Just as we're instructing you
14:28As God is giving us
14:29The instructions
14:30He told them exactly
14:31How to prepare the lamb
14:32You know
14:33When to eat it
14:34Make sure there was none left
14:35And just some really
14:37You know
14:38Step by step
14:39Instructions
14:41To do this
14:42All right
14:43Now
14:43Verse 17
14:45Now we're at
14:45Deuteronomy 16 and 16
14:47Because they show
14:49Many of the feasts
14:50But we want to focus
14:50Again on the Passover feasts
14:52If you're reading
14:52In those verses
14:54That we gave you
14:54You see all the other feasts
14:55Are listed as well
14:57Because there's like
14:59Seven feasts
15:00Three times a year
15:01He says
15:01You'll come before me
15:02All right
15:03Now
15:03Verse 17
15:04Watch this
15:05Verse 17
15:06Because you never
15:06Come before a king
15:07Empty handed
15:08Every man shall give
15:10As he is able
15:11According to the blessing
15:14Of the Lord
15:15Thy God
15:16Which he
15:17Hath given
15:18The
15:18So then
15:19According to how
15:20The Lord has blessed
15:21You throughout the year
15:22Okay
15:23And only you know
15:24How that works
15:25And how he's been
15:26Working in your life
15:27Then that's how
15:29If you know
15:29You bring before him
15:31An offering
15:32And like I said
15:32Many of you
15:33You're not
15:34You know
15:34In word of
15:36But wherever your church is
15:37Like I said
15:37Around that now
15:38I don't think your pastor
15:39Would mind
15:40If you mailed in
15:41A Passover offering
15:43Okay
15:44I don't think
15:45It'd be a problem
15:46I think it would be
15:47A blessing
15:47And you can do that
15:49Simply by
15:50Again going by
15:50What the scripture says
15:52According to how
15:53The Lord has blessed you
15:54Now if you don't feel
15:55The Lord has blessed you
15:55So be it
15:56If you feel
15:58He has blessed you
15:59But right now
16:00You don't have it
16:01Ask him to give it to you
16:02The bible says
16:03He gives seed
16:03To the sower
16:04But you have to be a sower
16:06You know
16:06If he gives it to you
16:07Then you need to make sure
16:09You know
16:10You sow it
16:10And sometimes we have
16:12You know
16:12A little bit of money
16:13And we think
16:13We gotta hold on to it
16:15I'm like this
16:16If it can't meet your need
16:18It's probably a seed
16:19Okay
16:20And a seed can do
16:21Way more
16:22Than you know
16:24What you expect it to do
16:26Than you holding on to it
16:27And keeping it
16:27As long as you keep it
16:28It never grows to anything
16:30More
16:30That's all it'll ever be
16:31But when you sow it
16:33Then it has the potential
16:34Of really bringing forth
16:36Really
16:36And meeting your needs
16:38So again
16:39It's
16:40According to how
16:41You have been blessed
16:42To bring the Lord
16:43An offering
16:44Now watch this now
16:45In verse 20
16:46Chapter 26
16:48And verse 10
16:49Of that same
16:50Deuteronomy
16:50It says
16:51Bring your offering
16:53And worship the Lord
16:55You know
16:55So often we bring an offering
16:57We just drop it in a basket
16:58Or drop it wherever we are
17:00And we don't even consider
17:02The fact that
17:03You know
17:03You're bringing this
17:05To a king of kings
17:06You're bringing this
17:07To God almighty
17:08Okay
17:09You want to
17:10Literally
17:11Worship
17:13Lord I thank you
17:14Thank you for protecting
17:16My household
17:17Thank you for protecting me
17:18Thank you that
17:19You are our provider
17:21That regardless
17:22Of what's going on
17:23Right now
17:23You will supply
17:25All our need
17:26According to your riches
17:27And glory
17:28So this is amazing
17:29To me
17:30That God is so
17:31With us
17:32And we don't even
17:33Realize it
17:34So again
17:35It's not something
17:35That you need
17:36To concern yourself with
17:37You say
17:38Well I give offerings
17:39And I give tithes
17:40Okay let me just read
17:41This one scripture to you
17:42Leviticus 23
17:43Verses 37
17:4438
17:45He says
17:45These are the feast
17:46Offerings
17:47He's very specific now
17:48He says
17:49These are the offerings
17:50Besides
17:51Besides
17:51Your other offerings
17:53That you give
17:54Besides
17:55And it literally says
17:56Besides
17:56Meaning it doesn't want you
17:57To get confused now
17:59Don't stop giving
18:00So you can give this
18:01Don't try and change
18:03Take from one
18:03To give the other
18:04That's not what he's saying
18:05He says
18:05These are your feast offerings
18:07And they are to come
18:09Besides what you've already given
18:11Alright
18:11So again
18:12This is the Lord instructing
18:14You say
18:15Well I still
18:15You know
18:16Don't quite see how
18:17Jesus has anything to do with this
18:20Well
18:201 Corinthians 5 and 7
18:22Says
18:23For Christ
18:24Is our Passover
18:26He sacrificed for us
18:28He was crucified for us
18:29At the exact time
18:31Of the offering
18:32That was
18:32The blood offering
18:33The blood sacrifice
18:34That was supposed to take place
18:36During that time
18:37He is our Passover
18:39So
18:39Yes we celebrate
18:41Resurrection Sunday
18:42But Passover
18:44Is literally
18:45Without Passover
18:46There'd be no
18:47You know
18:47Resurrection
18:48Alright
18:49So the feast
18:50You know
18:51The festivals
18:51They are a Moadid
18:53Moadid
18:53I think I said it
18:54Wrong before
18:55But either way
18:57This is a fixed time
18:58It's a set season
18:59For the Lord
19:00Alright
19:01And so literally
19:02It teaches us
19:03Now many of our
19:04Hebrew friends
19:05Are you know
19:06Celebrating what is called
19:07Seder
19:07Which in the scriptures
19:09It was also called
19:10Last Supper
19:11It's what we refer to it as
19:13But it was literally
19:14The Seder meal
19:15Where they really
19:16Would experience
19:17The past things
19:18That took place
19:19And remember
19:20A time of remembrance
19:22Of what the Lord
19:24Has done
19:24And certainly
19:24We ought to remember
19:25What the Lord
19:27Has done
19:28Even in the
19:29Passover
19:30Seder
19:31The matzah
19:32If you look at a matzah
19:33It's got stripes on it
19:35Because by his stripes
19:37We are healed
19:37It's pierced
19:38It has
19:39You know
19:40He was pierced
19:41So all of this
19:42Is really symbolic
19:43To show that
19:44It's all about
19:46Jesus Christ
19:47Okay
19:47For those who might
19:48Still be struggling
19:49With that
19:49Alright
19:50So let's just remember
19:52That this is a very
19:54You know
19:54Sacred time
19:55But it's also
19:56A tremendous celebration
19:57And we honor the Lord
19:59You know
20:00During this time
20:01So a couple of things
20:03You know
20:03I'm not going to be long today
20:04It's not like class
20:05Or anything
20:06I'm just spending
20:06A little time with you
20:07And like I said
20:09I'd love to hear from you
20:10Let me give you
20:13A bit of instructions
20:14On our Passover fast
20:16And again
20:17I encourage those
20:18Listen
20:18If you have any kind
20:19Of medical issues
20:21You know
20:22Especially if you just
20:23Came off the fast
20:24Because we just did
20:25A 21 day fast
20:26And many of you
20:27Went even beyond that
20:28So
20:29Because I don't want
20:30Anyone to kind of
20:31Overdo it
20:32You know
20:34If this seems a bit more
20:35Than your body can stand
20:37And please
20:37You pass
20:38Okay
20:38We got your back
20:39We'll stand in for you
20:40We don't want you
20:41You know
20:42To do anything
20:43That would not be
20:44Beneficial
20:45To your health
20:46So those who
20:47May be having
20:48Medical issues
20:49You can just
20:50Kind of
20:50Sit this one
20:51And we'll be
20:52Literally covering you
20:53You know
20:54In Jesus name
20:55But those of you
20:56Who will
20:57And who have
20:57Already decided
20:58Yes
20:59Then at 6 o'clock
21:00Today
21:01And we said
21:01Now throughout the day
21:02You can eat
21:03You can really
21:03You can eat
21:04I guess up until
21:056 o'clock
21:06If you choose to
21:07But at 6 o'clock
21:08That's when you
21:09Really want to
21:10Just kind of
21:11Shut down
21:11Everything
21:12If you need
21:13To read your bible
21:14If you need
21:15To listen to
21:16Some
21:16You know
21:17Your favorite
21:18Gospel music
21:19Or hymns
21:19Or whatever
21:20Then do that
21:21Because it helps
21:22You to start
21:23Creating an atmosphere
21:24You know
21:25So that you can
21:26Really hear from
21:27The Lord
21:28Because that's
21:28Really what
21:28We want to do
21:29We want to
21:30Create an atmosphere
21:32That allows us
21:33To really meditate
21:35And hear what
21:35God has to say
21:36Why
21:37Because you're
21:38Going to pray
21:38You're going to pray
21:39And you're going to
21:41Really beseech the Lord
21:43Because prayer
21:44Is literally
21:45Also translated
21:46As petition
21:47So we're going to
21:48Put this petition
21:49Before the Lord
21:50That the hand
21:51Of the enemy
21:52Be stopped
21:52Right now
21:53That he stay
21:54His hand
21:54In the name
21:55Of Jesus
21:56And that this
21:57Whole thing
21:58Again just as
21:59The Passover
22:00Takes place
22:01This must pass over
22:02And we
22:03As those who
22:04Stand in
22:05The given authority
22:06That's been
22:08Invested in us
22:09We stand together
22:10As one
22:11And when a people
22:11Stand together
22:12As one
22:12According to
22:13The scriptures
22:13In Genesis
22:14There's nothing
22:15That can be
22:16Withheld from them
22:17Okay
22:18In other words
22:19We become
22:20One voice
22:22Going up
22:22Before the Lord
22:23To stop
22:24This virus
22:25And so
22:26You begin
