00:10:29And we thank you for in advance.
00:35:43we like the beat or we like this or we can get with that and we can, you know, and, you know,
00:35:50my real pet peeve is when we call a worship service and we're singing songs and have the
00:35:58name of the devil in the midst of those songs. That is not worship unto God. This is not that
00:36:04this is a lack of understanding what real intimacy is in a relationship that we call
00:36:11ourself having with God. Okay. Again, there's no change. Everything's the same. And you know what?
00:36:20God shares his glory with no one. According to the scripture, we got to protect the purity of worship.
00:36:27And that's why, if anything, I hope and pray that God's people, and certainly those that we have a
00:36:33chance to minister to from time to time, have their own time of worship and adoration for the Lord.
00:36:40Because the services that we go to, and we call it praise and worship, you just listen to the songs,
00:36:48just listen for yourself. Most of them is about the human experience. They're not about exhaustion,
00:36:55exaltation to God, adoration for the Lord, his wonder and his beauty, and all the things that
00:37:03is considered, according to the scriptures, that's considered to be real worship unto the Lord.
00:37:12Isaiah 48 and 11 says that. Okay. That, again, the latter part, it says, I will not give my glory to
00:37:19another. And we know this. He will not give his glory. Now, music and songs are one of the devil's most
00:37:29dangerous tactics. Okay. He corrupts subtly in a very pleasant manner. All right. And so, remember,
00:37:39Satan himself comes as an angel of light, disguised, pretending to be something that he's not.
00:37:45Second Corinthians 11 and 14 describes that. It says, don't even be surprised. It says, marvel not.
00:37:57Don't be caught off guard because Satan himself comes and parades himself as an angel of light
00:38:05and says, so does his ministers. So, don't be surprised. Don't be thrown off. Okay. And guess what?
00:38:11He knows how to be just enough to sound right, but it'll lead you wrong because he knows just what
00:38:21he's doing. Satan has infiltrated the songs of the church. Yes, they are subtle, sweet, emotionally
00:38:27driven. Okay. A distraction, really, from repentance and a contrite, a broken and contrite heart
00:38:36that is really needed to take place for change. Lyrics and beats that seem biblical, but are empty
00:38:45of power, empty of transformation. They can comfort the flesh, but there's no conviction to the soul.
00:38:54And we wonder why so much mess goes on in church. Oh my goodness. You know, lyrics like I am enough.
00:39:01Well, the Bible says without him, you can do nothing. And then you repeat these kinds of things over and
00:39:09over again. This is what this is. Yes. Okay. It builds up your self-esteem. I don't argue that, but that's not
00:39:17for worship unto God. That's not time of worship onto him. That's building up the person, which is good.
00:39:28That's fine. There should be a time for that, but we should not confuse worship. Okay. Onto God with
00:39:35self exhortation, you know, for ourselves. See, it's very subtle and innocent. And it seems like it's
00:39:43so wonderful. It's so fine. Wait a minute. What about, you know, and we don't realize what is really
00:39:48worship unto God because worship real true worship. You're going to get the results that the Bible talks
00:39:56about. You're going to see demons be, you know, cast out. You're going to see people get healed.
00:40:02Deliverance. What needs to take place will take place, but only with real worship, the true
00:40:07worshiper. You see, it's just a little twist in words and the focus is not on the savior anymore,
00:40:13but the sinner. We confuse worship unto God with self exhortation. God's, you know, goal for you
00:40:22is his holiness. Okay. Even more than your happiness. He wants the holiness of him working
00:40:29and moving in you. Okay. I mean, Hebrews 12 and 14 puts it very clear. And a lot of people I know
00:40:36when I deal with this scripture, they don't want to hear it, but Hebrews 12 and 14 says holiness
00:40:41without no one shall see the Lord. That's very important. I believe that we're infused with the
00:40:49power and the very virtues of God during our worship time. Satan doesn't remove truth. He mixes it. He
00:40:58mixes it. He quotes scripture, but he misuses it in taking scripture out of context. And then the
00:41:06melody, it'll cover all the untruth, the melody and the beat because we like a beat and we like good
00:41:12melody. And if we got that and we're good to go. And, and again, real worship is not taking place.
00:41:19I know this is hard for some because we don't really deal with it, but that's the problem.
00:41:23If we are going to see the move of God, then we have to begin to consider what is worship unto God.
00:41:30What happens when we come together corporately and really begin to worship, uh, onto God in spirit
00:41:38and in truth. I believe we began to see a move of God. Unlike any that we've ever seen before.
00:41:44You see your discernment is very vital in what we're saying here again, who is being glorified?
00:41:50Is it God or the flesh? Where is the change, the growth? Okay. What, what, what did you conceive
00:41:58in the midst of worship and the music of worship? What happened to you? Because something needs to be
00:42:04taking place in our worship. Okay. It's not just about our feeling good. It's about an exchange
00:42:11between heaven and earth, dealing with God's people. You know what? Galatians one and six,
00:42:19Galatians chapter one and verse six. Thank you, man of God. I appreciate that because this is not easy
00:42:26to teach. If this thing is so going on for so long, I don't even think most people know how to
00:42:34take it. All right. But Galatians one, seven says one, six through seven says, I am astonished
00:42:40that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ
00:42:47and are turning to a different gospel, which is really no gospel at all. People are throwing you
00:42:57into confusion, trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. And that is exactly what we're talking
00:43:06about. The preaching of a perverted gospel is very dangerous, but a perverted gospel in worship
00:43:14is all the more dangerous and deadly because songs and music, when repeated over and over,
00:43:22it becomes embedded in your belief system, in your spirit, in your thoughts, in your mind,
00:43:28it stays there. And you can be humming and singing something that has nothing to do with what you need
00:43:34to happen in your life. Colossians chapter three, verses 16 through 17 says, let the word of Christ
00:43:42dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns,
00:43:51which no, nobody want the old hymns, but those were the real foundational realm of worship,
00:43:56which got us here today. And I believe we need to get back to it and spiritual songs singing with
00:44:01grace in your hearts to the Lord. Okay. Not onto people, not on, you know, when people have a
00:44:09relationship with the Lord, when they come into a service for worship, they're going to worship.
00:44:15You don't have to tell them, come on, come on, everybody come again. That's motivational. That's
00:44:22wonderful. Don't get me wrong. But when you're worshiping onto God, people know how to worship
00:44:30because they have a relationship. Now, people who don't know how to worship, they should be able to
00:44:35learn by being in the presence of those who do know how to worship. Glory to God. He says,
00:44:44it goes on to say, you should have hymns and singing in your heart. He says, and whatsoever you
00:44:49do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving him thanks and thanks unto God,
00:44:57the father, and by him, it's all onto the Lord, our God. We must realize that, listen,
00:45:07changing and switching over to try and attract the world or the unsaved or the unbelievers.
00:45:15There's too many scripture that, you know, let you know how God is going to draw people. We don't
00:45:22need to change worship service. Like I said to, you know, we stop feeding the sheep and we start
00:45:28entertaining goats. All right. Songs are not to be fillers, to fill in for service, to fill in or
00:45:36to wait for some who come in late all the time anyway. And here we are, what using song, that's
00:45:44abuse. That's abuse. Some songs are simply subtle lies that are becoming the soundtrack of powerless
00:45:52beats and melodies. Songs that comfort the flesh and starve the soul. This is a quote from a pastor,
00:46:02the Korean pastor, actually Asian man of God who pastored the world's largest congregation.
00:46:11And he was making it very clear that something has happened to worship.
00:46:17Worship. Something has happened to worship. And he goes on to say that it's about comforting the
00:46:26flesh. And while we're comforting the flesh, we're starving the soul. Satan craves and lusts after
00:46:32worship. Anything in music and song that does not glorify God, Satan receives it as worship unto
00:46:39himself. A half-truth song is to Satan a whole battle wand. That's just the way he sees it. I don't care
00:46:46if it's not, you know, just a little thing that's not of God. He takes it as worship. We must check
00:46:53every lyric by God's word and every melody by God's spirit of truth. We must guard worship with the same
00:47:01seriousness that we guard the calling to preach. I'll say that again. We must guard worship with the
00:47:08same seriousness that we guard the calling to preach the gospel of the kingdom. You don't play games when
00:47:15someone has said they are called to preach. Boy, that thing at that point changes everything about
00:47:21their life and how you look at them because that is so serious. It should be just as serious when it
00:47:26comes to worship. Matthew 24 and verse 14 says, this gospel, this is one of my favorites because it's so
00:47:34specific. This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness on to all nations and
00:47:44then shall the end come. All right. So worship, just like preaching, it shapes our lives. It grows the soul
00:47:53into a mature, strong vessel and knows how to have a relationship and seeks a relationship with Christ.
00:48:00The call of heaven is for the church to reconsider what we call real worship. That is the call,
00:48:10the cry to the body of Christ, whether our worship it be unto us or is it unto God? Is it to please the
00:48:18flesh for what we feel and how we want or is it what God wants? Worship that's not unto God is an open
00:48:26door to spiritual bondage and warfare. If it glorifies God, it will bring freedom. If Satan is
00:48:34being glorified, then it's going to simply bring chains of bondage, depression, and all the things
00:48:40that take place right now in the body of Christ. The power of song carries the power of words and we know
00:48:48this by now. Worship is not natural or neutral. There is no middle ground. It either is or it isn't.
00:48:58Proverbs 18 and 21 says it like this, death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it
00:49:05shall eat the fruit thereof. Songs are words. Words produce fruit. And you are not just singing
00:49:15some words. You are prophesying over your very own life. You're producing fruit. And if it's good
00:49:24fruit, then you can enjoy it. You can take it in. You can eat it. It will nourish you. It will strengthen
00:49:30you. It will grow you. But if it's not, then you will be all the opposite of those things. Songs are words
00:49:38that are either inviting heaven or it's inviting hell. The kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness.
00:49:46There is no halfway. There is no in between. Paul and Silas were beaten, chained, and imprisoned.
00:49:54So says Acts chapter 16 verses 25 through 26. It says, and at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang
00:50:03praises unto God. And the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that
00:50:11the foundations of the prison was shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened and
00:50:16everyone's bands, everyone's bands were loosed. They were set free. They were delivered. This was
00:50:24through the songs. Worship on, they began to sing praises, okay? Unto God, not onto people, not to get
00:50:34people to go along with them, okay? True worship moves heaven upon the earth. It delivers and loses
00:50:40the chains that bind. If true worship breaks chains, then false worship will cause chains to be bound and
00:50:48cause you to have wounds and everything just the opposite. Why is there more bondage and
00:50:54sickness more than ever? Because, you know, we don't even pay attention to those kinds of things.
00:51:01Why is there no deliverance? Where are the miracle signs and wonders? Because the motives and the
00:51:07mentalities are far more focused on people. What do people like? What do people want to hear? It really
00:51:13should be, what are we doing? Are we worshiping God? Are we pleasing ourselves? Songs that glorify self or
00:51:22entertain the flesh are not worship unto God. Lucifer was once heaven's worship leader. Music is his,
00:51:33that's his arsenal. That's a part of his arsenal of deception. He better than anyone knows and
00:51:43understands the power of music. It was his assignment. Deception comes in melodies, okay? And it does not appear
00:51:56as visible chains, but it can be an unrelenting depression. And you wonder why did you come there
00:52:08to church with it and left with it? Why wasn't something there to help break that depression,
00:52:15you know, to heal those wounds that never seem to heal? You know, we've got some serious confusion
00:52:24taking place in the body of Christ. You know, worship really does matter whether we think it or not.
00:52:30You know, some say, well, I'll wait till the song part, the music and all that is over,
00:52:34would not come for the word. And nowadays, I almost can't blame anybody for that because if it's not
00:52:41worship, if worship was doing what it's supposed to do, people would be packing that part of the
00:52:49service. They'd be there for that more than anything else. If it was doing what it was supposed
00:52:54to, what it was meant to do, people would not be skipping over, you know, the praise and worship,
00:53:01worship, but because it's not onto God. And when it's not onto God, it does not have the healing
00:53:08properties. The portals of heaven are not open. Worship really matters. You shall know the truth
00:53:13and what the knowledge of that truth is what makes you free, says John chapter eight and verse 32.
00:53:20John chapter eight and 32 says, you shall know, you know the truth. And when you know the truth,
00:53:26the knowledge of that truth is what makes you free. Truth in songs brings freedom. You know,
00:53:33while lies, they're going to bring more bondage, as simple as that. Songs that glorify anything other
00:53:39than God are not true worship. And some may have a hard time swallowing that, but you need the truth.
00:53:46This is not about music style or skills or the showmanship that takes place. It's about the spirit
00:53:53that's behind that kind of thing. It's the spirit that causes people to put themselves in, you know,
00:54:00in manifestation rather than the spirit of God. It can be a song with a beautiful melody, but it has
00:54:06a corrupt message. A little poison is still poison. Okay. Songs can build an altar onto God or a prison
00:54:14for your life. True worship is the only fulfillment for the soul. Is God's spirit in the songs,
00:54:22in the music, because where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Liberty takes place. It breaks
00:54:30forth 2 Corinthians 3 and 17. 2 Corinthians 3, we've had that scripture for years. It was our
00:54:36foundational scripture when we, you know, started the ministry. Okay. It's, you know, if worship
00:54:43is not producing freedom and deliverance, then we need to take a look at what is going on.
00:54:50The main excuse again, is to use certain styles of music to attract, to reach the laws, to get the
00:55:01young people's attention and so on. Can I just tell you, John chapter 12 and verse 32, Jesus said,
00:55:09and if I be lifted up from the earth, he's talking about the cross. If I be lifted up from the earth,
00:55:15he says, I will draw all men onto me. The cross will draw, not the culture. Okay. John chapter 6 and
00:55:24verse 44, John chapter 6. Again, Jesus said, no one can come to me except the father, which has sent me
00:55:33draws them and I will raise them up at the last day. So God has made it very clear how souls are going to
00:55:41come. Music may catch their attention, but only God's word is going to keep them. He is a keeper.
00:55:49Last but not least, first Corinthians chapter 3, verses 6 and 7. Paul said this, I have planted
00:55:58or I have sown. Apollos, he has watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that plants
00:56:09anything, neither is he that waters, but it's God that gives the increase. God will bring souls. He
00:56:20will save souls. He will deliver people. He will set them free. If we get back to real worship,
00:56:26if we stop making it about ourselves and really get serious about real worship onto God, where we're
00:56:33not making it about a person, it's not about who, how well somebody can sing and so on and so forth,
00:56:39but it's all about worship unto God. I say unto you people, God, make sure you have your worship time.
00:56:48We were created for worship. You need to worship and all you need to do is make God first. Be the one
00:56:57who he is searching for. He's looking, he seeketh such, okay, to worship. God is seeking that. And I
00:57:06believe that as you begin to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, as the scripture says,
00:57:14you will see healing. You will see deliverance. You will see miracle signs and wonders. You know,
00:57:20I don't, we don't have the authority over various churches to tell them what to do and how to worship
00:57:27you know, again, when you go there, it is a motivational thing to pick you up. And that's
00:57:34beautiful. Please don't get me wrong. It's wonderful, but understand you better have your
00:57:39worship time because your worship is really how you begin to see heaven open and move on your behalf.
00:57:47Father, in the name of Jesus, we just thank you for the opportunity to share the word of God.
00:57:53Oh God, it is our prayer and our desire that the body of Christ will turn, return to true worship,
00:58:01to the real worshipers that will worship you in spirit and in truth, that you might open onto us
00:58:10the very portals of heaven and the glory, the Shekinah glory of God would move on behalf of your
00:58:17people and healing and deliverance and all the breakthroughs and salvations that have been called
00:58:24for through the scripture will begin to manifest in earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name, we thank
00:58:31you for it in advance. We call it done and it is so. God bless you. Listen, we'll start a whole new
00:58:37subject come Sunday morning. I hope that you will make the time to be with us. Also keep a note on
00:58:43that fifth Saturday where we will be with bread of life. We come together and we worship again.
00:58:50The worship is to build you up. Thank God for that, but make sure you have your personal worship time
00:58:56because God wants to heal you. He wants to deliver you and set you free. He wants to bring increase
00:59:02and bless your life and do exactly what the word says in Jesus name. So God bless you. We look forward
00:59:08to our time together. We'll see you then. God bless.
