Jayanagar MLA C.K. Ramamurthy has denied sending “Good Morning” and “Good Evening” messages that are circulating on Instagram and have been linked to his account. The clarification came after a young woman claimed she received the messages, allegedly from the legislator.

Ramamurthy stated that his mobile phone and Instagram account were hacked, leading to unauthorised messages being sent without his knowledge. He asserted that the circulating texts were not sent by him and were the result of cyber misuse.

The MLA said he would soon approach the cyber crime police to formally lodge a complaint and seek a detailed investigation. He also urged the public not to jump to conclusions or assume his personal involvement in the incident.
