00:06And man, this game just got interesting because happy freaking New Year, Joe Shane and the New York Giants,
00:13because you were just gifted a sure thing higher in the early rounds of the head coaching search.
00:19With all due respects to the names that are on that list, Kevin Stefanski, Mike McCarthy, all those guys,
00:25none of the names on that list of the first round interviews got the response from the media or the fan base like John Harbaugh.
00:32Until you find out the availability of a Mike Tomlin or a Matt LaFleur after they're done with the playoff runs,
00:39if they're even available, John Harbaugh is the it candidate.
00:43Worst scenario, I think he comes in and does to the Giants what Tom Thibodeau did to the Knicks.
00:49The Knicks went from being a punchline and a happy to be here franchise to legit contenders coming out of the East.
00:56He took a 21 and 45 team.
00:59And in his first season, that changed to 41 and 31 home court advantage and a playoff berth.
01:05And just like that, the Knicks and New York basketball was relevant again.
01:10John Harbaugh has the pedigree, the respect, the resume and the X's and O's to come in and make the Giants great again.
01:18And if not great, at least good consistency.
01:21Because if you think about it, you're Joe Shane, you're a GM and you land a guy like John Harbaugh.
01:28You get a guy you're not going to have to worry about the problems you had to go through with the first time head coach like you did with Brian Dable.
01:36No disrespect to Dabes, I'm a Dabes guy.
01:39You're not going to have to worry about being on the headset during games because coaches are having feuds and disagreements.
01:45You're not going to have to worry about if your third overall pick is missing or sleep in meetings.
01:51None of that.
01:52John Harbaugh don't play none of that.
01:54And the players are going to respect and buy into that culture instantly.
01:59Joe Shane, the it girl, just became single again.
02:03Wine her, dying her.
02:05Don't let her leave the building.
