00:00Every technology and gadget reporter on the planet has descended on Las Vegas this week for the annual Consumer Electronics Show, or CES.
00:10There is so much tech unveiled at this event each year, it's impossible for me to overstate its size.
00:18And some of it is pretty, pretty, pretty jazzy.
00:21But so much of what makes it onto the floor of the convention is, well, crap.
00:26Luckily, the post sorted through the tech trash to find the tech treasure.
00:31My absolute favorite, LG's new laundry folding robot.
00:37The company says it can not just fold, but load and unload the washer and dryer, too.
00:42Don't you tease me, LG.
00:45Then, let's take a look at this, the classic flip phone.
00:49It's getting a major upgrade.
00:51Samsung's new trip-fold phone.
00:53It's basically a cell phone that can unfold into a tablet.
00:57Now, sticking with phones here.
00:59A new pet phone.
01:01I know, we all wish that we could text our furry friends, that we love them when we're out.
01:06And sadly, this isn't that.
01:07This thing attaches to your dog or your cat, or I guess your domesticated raccoon, if that's what you have.
01:13It attaches to their collar, and it can track their location, play calming music, and even handle calls between pet and pet parent.
01:21I don't really understand that last one, but okay.
01:27Lego fans out there, you are gonna want to hear this one.
01:30The Danish brand is releasing perhaps the biggest update in their history.
01:35A full computer system squeezed into one 2x4 little Lego brick.
01:42Still gonna hurt like hell when you step on one.
01:43Anywho, the block pairs with smart figures and tags to add lights and sound to things like, say, the Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon.
01:53I know a few nerds that are going to be psyched by this one, and I say that affectionately.
01:59And finally, for fans of the weird out there, may I present to you the Lollipop Star.
02:04It's a lollipop that uses vibrations from the lollipop stick to play music through your skull's bones and into your inner ear while you snack.
