07:11In the building here tonight, all across Tokyo, people have been talking about New Japan Pro Wrestling this, New Japan Pro Wrestling that.
07:18I, for one, am very interested as to what 2026 could look like for this trio of Team 150, Tomohiro Ishii, Taichi, and Satoshi Kojima backmatch.
07:28Yeah, I think everybody yesterday was feeling very good.
07:31It was certainly the very best of what brings all the pro wrestling together.
07:35But a lot of the veterans, especially in that Tornado Rambo 6-man match yesterday, were very, very unhappy with how the match went.
07:46Specifically, Taichi very felt he was let down by both of his partners, Ishii and Kojima, yesterday.
07:52A lot of the veterans in that tag team match were saying, well, it felt like there was a lot of young young and a lot of fighting on the outside, and nobody really wanted to win.
08:03And the hard-nosed veterans saying they're going to start New Year Dash with a very, very aggressive in-ring style.
08:11So we'll see what happens in our opening here.

09:17Your World Tag League 2025 winners in TMDK challenging the knockout brothers for the tag team gold.
09:24And the short boys are on for Shota Umino on the evening.
09:29It is Shota Umino, Yohei Oumura, and Katsuya Morishima taking the place of Kaisei Takechi on the evening.
09:35Young Ryan Morishima has been talking up a storm, and I'd argue never more deserved than what we saw just yesterday in the Tokyo Dome about a potential excursion.
09:45And where, if you had your own choice for it, would you send Katsuya Morishima?
09:49I mean, it's difficult.
09:50I think Morishima with his style, I think there have been whispers, in fact, around Europe,
09:56and I think the European style would fit on Morishima in terms of how he can use his power at his height.
10:05And a lot of, sort of, the power-to-weight ratio is something that he wants to maximize, does Morishima.
10:12I think probably being in around the England and continental Europe, Germany, that kind of scene would really fit on Morishima.
10:21Well, that's something that a former junior heavyweight turned heavyweight over the years, Taichi, has been able to maximize in his career as well.
10:27And as Taichi and Uyutu Omora kicking things off here, Kalor Nobbo tie-up between two former unit mates,
10:33and as we get into the action here tonight, a team featuring the NJPW Strong Openweight Champion.
10:38We want to remind the people, new beginning USA 2026, Trenton, New Jersey, the Cure Insurance Arena, February 27th.
10:46I can't wait to see if Tomohiro Ishii could be in defense of that Strong Openweight title.
10:50Yeah, that could be something.
10:53So you remind everybody that the Strong Openweight title exists, and, you know, Ishii wants to make a clear statement in that.
11:01And, you know, in this opening contest here, I think that's one of the reasons why Taichi was kind of upset about, you know,
11:09how far, you know, he would have thought on this Tokyo Dome stage.
11:13He got a little bit let down.
11:14I mean, we've heard him having issues with Satoshi Kojima.
11:17It was just kind of surprising that he was similarly upset with Tomohiro Ishii yesterday as well.
11:22And, well, Taichi expecting a better out of the members of Longtai, certainly those who he aligns himself closer to.
11:28And we are going to see if Taichi can pull the best out of everyone here as Yuya Uemura, a deep arm drag,
11:33is going to keep Taichi in a prone spot for the time being.
11:36And speaking of NJPW Strong, of course, we have a new Strong Women's Champion in the form of Shuri.
11:41You know, a huge, huge upset, I think, over Taya Kamatani last night in the Tokyo Dome.
11:47And you wonder whether she'll be part of action in Trenton, New Jersey, New Beginning USA, February the 26th.

13:13Umura off the ropes, instead is going to send U. Umura right into the strong openweight champion,
13:17and here comes Tomohiro Ishii into the ring.
13:19And we're not going to slow down in an instant.
13:21I think U.S. wants Ishii to be hungry as well.
13:24Speaking of hunger, young lion Katsia Morishima looking to eat better than anyone, certainly has been.
13:33The Chaco's been going down at the dojo, and so too is Morishima.
13:38I think if you're, if you're Katsia Morishima, like, maybe you want to target Ishii.
13:43I mean, I said it would benefit him to be in Europe, but if you want an excursion in the U.S.

14:48Yeah, and don't think that doesn't annoy both Shota and U. Umura, that out of those three contemporaries,
14:55if anything, in terms of raw New Japan experience, Shota Umino the senior over Yogi Tsuji,
15:01and Tsuji the double champion.

15:16But he really started putting those pieces together, I would say, towards the tail end of the G1,
15:20right up to where he is now, and I think you're in this position now where I think Shota Umino
15:27has got those puzzle pieces together in terms of 2026.
15:31I can absolutely agree with that, but the proof has to be in the pudding,
15:34and there's only one man who's eating it. That's the heavyweight champion to cover here.
