00:00Well what we've seen in terms of Venezuela are the latest morbid symptoms of the disintegration
00:06of the rules-based international system. That is not in our national interest and it's not in the
00:11interest of our collective security because a world without rules is a world in which we
00:16are less safe. The Prime Minister in relation to Venezuela is choosing his words and is choosing
00:22his timing carefully because he wants to influence events both in our national interests,
00:29in our collective interests in terms of our security and in the interests of the people
00:33of Venezuela who have the right to choose who governs them. That's what the Prime Minister is
00:38doing. That's the leadership he brings to bear. I appreciate others have been more strident in
00:43their criticism but with respect the Prime Minister is not a commentator. He is a leader and he is
00:50using our influence and leverages to try and influence what is a fast-moving and delicate
00:55situation in a positive direction.
