NEW YORK COLD LEAVES SOLID SHEET OF ICE AFTER ROLLING DOWN CAR WINDOW
WITH VID
BY JAIANSH SHARMA
A car is left completely covered in thick ice following a bout of sleet and wintry mix in upstate New York.
Seema Dass, from Schenectady, New York, USA, filmed the frozen vehicle after waking up to find it sealed in a clear layer of ice. The footage shows that even after using the defrost and rolling the windows down, the ice remained intact and unmoved, forming a solid shell around the car.
The video highlights the extent of the freezing rain, with ice coating the windshield, windows, and doors, making the car difficult to clear before heading to work.

One wrote: “Should I put a towel on your windshield? I woke up, peeled it off, went to work lol.”
Another added: “It’s ice everywhere never expected anything like this.”

00:00Hey guys, check us out. So, I'm ready to go to work. I'm in this car for like 20 minutes. Glass is not seen to be defrosted. It's still frozen.
00:13I have my windows. I'm going to wind them down. I still have glass outside. Ice is so covered. It's really, really rude.
