00:00Still at 3rd Division Plymouth and today an FA Cup participant facing the much more fortunate Noel Whelan
00:06whose £2m transfer from Leeds to Coventry has been followed by three goals in four appearances
00:12that have helped spark a Premiership revival.
00:16Seven points from the last nine for Coventry and ten of this team have remained unchanged throughout those three games.
00:23Only Kevin Richardson missed one through suspension.
00:26There's still no Peter Unglove but this is Coventry at full strength.
00:32Well Plymouth's team includes Ronnie Morgier who hasn't trained all week
00:37but they have left out two players who are due to start suspension next Saturday.
00:41Mark Patterson replaced at right back by Chris Billy and Gary Clayton replaced in midfield by Richard Logan.
00:47And that's Chris Ledbetter arriving with the first Plymouth attack
00:56as that severe weather that we've been warned about comes absolutely sweeping across this little ground.
01:04I think a Grisovic would have had it covered but it struck the outside of the post and he must have got a touch.
01:09Take the short.
01:15It's a long chase for Chris Billy.
01:20Morgier
01:20Picked it in play and Plymouth with another throw.
01:25Here's Adrian Littlejohn.
01:27Logan's header.
01:40Evans makes a run.
01:43Well boost
01:44went right across the front of Nicky Evans
01:49and Gary Willard is calling him over.
01:53Now this could be a real problem for Coventry
02:01if the card which finally comes out is red.
02:05They had four players sent off
02:07in five games during November and December.
02:14Chris Billy isn't helping us see exactly what colour it is and it's red.
02:17And Coventry have another player sent off.
02:24They've had six this season.
02:28Four in Premiership games
02:30and two in reserve matches.
02:34And that challenge by David Boost
02:36sees him off the field.
02:38And now Plymouth with a free kick
02:41which is right on the edge of the penalty area.
02:44And they're going to have to go back the full distance.
02:49Who's going to hit this?
02:56Oh, they've done it!
02:59Ian Baird!
03:00It went in like a shell.
03:05It may have hit somebody on the way
03:07but Plymouth don't mind.
03:09Ian Baird doesn't mind.
03:11Ledbetter ran over it.
03:13Baird struck it.
03:14Yes, there was a deflection
03:15off the defender.
03:17Ian Baird!
03:18Well, it may have been Richard Shaw
03:25but it just helped make it
03:28an impossible save for Ibrzovich.
03:32Oh, great shot!
03:33He's hit the woodwork!
03:37It may be that sort of afternoon
03:39for Coventry.
03:40And there may be troubles here yet.
03:43Here's Adrian Littlejohn.
03:46It's a corner.
03:47Plymouth off will be that
03:50they are kicking with the wind.
03:55Here's Sularco.
03:58Faced by Billy.
04:01Gets in a good cross.
04:03There's Heathcote at the near post.
04:07Made back by Morgier.
04:12Against Telfer.
04:13Gets inside the defender.
04:17They're screaming for it.
04:20Oh, it's gone in!
04:23Pickering.
04:26Commentary of equalised.
04:28And Plymouth are stunned.
04:32I'm sure he couldn't really have intended that.
04:34It was laid back to Keith Pickering.
04:36I think he was just knocking it up
04:37for players to fight for.
04:39And it's just dropped inside the post.
04:42And right over the head of Kevin Blackwell.
04:45And Coventry have the lifeline that they wanted.
04:47Surely that was intended as a pass.
04:49Maybe for the likes of Sularco.
04:51He's in on the Grisovic.
04:55Oh, he's pretty wide.
05:01Well, you can't fault the way he created the chance.
05:05Maybe he could have gone a yard or two further forward
05:07before he hit it.
05:08Oh, it's two.
05:16Suddenly, Coventry have stormed into the lead.
05:26It's two goals for Coventry in the space of three minutes.
05:34Sularco getting behind the defenders.
05:35Has Blackwell got a hand on it?
05:38But watches in agony as it spins in over the line.
05:41Chris Billy trying to pull him back.
05:52To Dublin.
05:53Telfer.
05:55Good chance again.
05:57Telfer.
05:59It's three.
06:02And Coventry have come out in the second half.
06:05And they've taken this cut tie by the scruff of the neck.
06:09They've just cut Plymouth to ribbons.
06:14Dublin helped it on.
06:16And Telfer had all the time that he needed to look up.
06:20It was close enough to Blackwell for the keeper to have got down.
06:24But it was awkward.
06:25And it was hit strong.
06:26And we've had 57 minutes.
06:33And amazingly, 10-man Coventry now lead by three goals to one.
06:37It comes for it one-handed.
06:39The whistle has gone anyway for a foul on the keeper.
06:42Has worked the FA Cup magic again.
06:51Twice a Cup winner with Manchester United.
06:55Shaking hands with his left hand, incidentally, because he's hurt the right.
06:58But he really turned the game on its head with whatever he said to Coventry at half-time.
07:04Because his team of ten men came out and scored three in the space of five minutes.
07:08And in the end, Plymouth's dream of an FA Cup upset was an illusion.
07:16And it was Coventry's premiership qualities which proved decisive.
