On January 4, Venezuela held its 757th Council of Ministers, the first chaired by Delcy Rodríguez as Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic. The session, of high political and legal relevance, followed the ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), which ordered the immediate continuity of executive authority. This measure responds to the temporary absence of constitutional President Nicolás Maduro and First Combatant Cilia Flores, kidnapped by the U.S. government. Through this Council of Ministers, the Bolivarian government reaffirms its defense of the Constitution and guarantees protection for the Venezuelan people, sending a clear message against imperial attempts at destabilization.
