00:00All I want for Christmas is to solve all the mysteries and riddles.
00:05If it's your wish as well, let's not waste a second and get started.
00:09At the office Christmas party, everyone placed their secret Santa gift under the tree.
00:15Each person brought one.
00:17But when the time came to unwrap them, there was one extra box with a mysterious tag.
00:23There are three people who might have brought it.
00:25The security guard, the new designer, and the director.
00:29Can you guess who did it?
00:39The gift is wrapped in a ribbon that looks exactly like the new designer's tie.
00:44So, it must have been him.
00:47At night, the Christmas tree sparkled with lights.
00:50But by morning, half the ornaments were gone.
00:54The door was locked.
00:55The cat and the family were asleep.
00:57Can you guess what happened here and who's to blame?
01:08Looks like the cat was playing with the ornaments.
01:11And the husband went down to drink some milk at night and tried to stop it.
01:15See those scratches on his arms?
01:16All the ladies showed up in dazzling shoes to the office Christmas party.
01:23Three women stood out the most.
01:25Then, the director's wife entered the room and suddenly froze.
01:29It turned out that one of the ladies was wearing the exact same exclusive shoes the woman had asked her husband for as a gift.
01:36And he said they were sold out.
01:38Can you guess who got the shoes?
01:49The redhead got the elf shoes.
01:51The director's wife was wearing a costume that matched this pair perfectly.
01:55Now, in the middle of the night, a family heard a strange noise.
02:01The inflatable Santa in the yard suddenly came to life and started moving.
02:05It was windy, but the figure stood under a porch roof, safe from the gusts.
02:10When Stacy ran outside, she saw the robot vacuum and her very scared dog.
02:16Can you tell what happened here?
02:17The robot vacuum must have scared the dog in the dark, and it actually stepped on the switch and activated Santa.
02:34A girl left her wish letter for Santa on the windowsill.
02:38In the morning, it was gone.
02:40The window was closed, the curtains untouched.
02:43The only clues are some crumbs on the sill and the faint smell of chocolate.
02:49What happened here?
02:50And who took the letter?
02:52An elf, the girl's dad, or her grandma?
03:03Dad must have taken the letter so he could buy the gift in time while snacking on chocolate.
03:08His lips are still brown from it.
03:10A lot of people want to look perfect at their Christmas parties, so the hairdressers at this little beauty studio are really busy.
03:20Looks like one of them definitely needs a break more than others.
03:23Can you tell who?
03:32The lady in the middle is about to cut her client's hair with garden shears.
03:36Well, she better go home and get some sleep before someone gets hurt.
03:40Airport security got a phone call telling them that one of the passengers dressed as Santa is smuggling stolen gold.
03:49They stopped three possible bad Santas and studied the contents of their luggage in detail.
03:54Do you notice anything suspicious here?
03:57This Santa has two large bottles of sunscreen among his sweaters and other winter accessories.
04:12Unless he's really afraid of the winter sun, he could be hiding the stolen gold inside those bottles.
04:18Several Santas visited a huge office center.
04:23Looks like one of them didn't come to give, but to take from others.
04:27Several managers noticed their phones and other valuables were gone.
04:31Can you figure out which of the Santas took them?
04:34Take a look at this Santa's boots.
04:44They are much bulkier than everyone else's.
04:47Looks like he's hiding the stolen valuables inside.
04:51A popular photographer received an urgent order for a Christmas family photo shoot.
04:57The pay is huge, but once the photographer sees the family, she decides to give them the money back and leave.
05:04What made her do it?
05:13None of the family members has common features, so they must be hired actors.
05:18And the father has a knife behind his back.
05:21You can see it in the mirror.
05:22Probably the photographer's competitors hired them.
05:25Santa's assistants did a great job sorting the gifts, but mixed up the three final addresses.
05:33Can you help them figure out what goes where?
05:45Well, we can see the outlines of a guitar, so the first gift must go to this guy who's a big fan of music.
05:52The girl who lives in this room, full of sports attire, will definitely appreciate a hockey stick.
05:58The final gift looks like a book that will be a great addition to this guy's collection.
06:05Someone robbed the house of a famous singer right before Christmas.
06:09She has three suspects.
06:11The chef, the decorator, and the delivery guy.
06:15The chef said he didn't even leave the kitchen.
06:17The decorator claimed she was too busy putting ball ornaments on the tree.
06:22The delivery guy explained he was only inside for one minute.
06:26Who's lying?
06:34There are no ball ornaments on the tree, so the decorator is lying and must have robbed the house.
06:40After delivering all the gifts, Santa got off his sleigh and walked south for three miles.
06:48Then he turned east and walked for three miles.
06:51He then walked north for three miles and came to the starting point, where he met a bear.
06:57What color was it?
06:58The only location where you can walk three miles south, then east for three miles, and north for three miles and come back to the beginning is, of course, the North Pole.
07:15Only white bears live there.
07:17At the International Arctic Snow Games, two elves were playing three games of gift hockey.
07:25Each elf won the same number of times.
07:28There were no times.
07:29So, how is it possible?
07:38The two elves must have been playing for different teams, so they weren't playing each other.
07:44Santa got so tired and caught up in his thoughts that he started going down a one-way street the wrong way.
07:53A policeman saw him, but for some reason, he didn't stop or even warn Santa.
07:58He just smiled at him.
07:59Why would he do that?
08:08Well, Santa was just walking, not driving.
08:12So, he didn't break any laws.
08:15Santa decides to run the best elf competition.
08:19You can help your friend Alfie win if you give him all the right answers.
08:23Let's start with a simple one.
08:25Where does Christmas go before Thanksgiving?
08:35Well, it's not some exotic destination, but just any dictionary.
08:39The next riddle requires some math skills.
08:44One snowman weighs as much as three Mrs. Claus's, and one Mrs. Claus weighs as much as two elves.
08:52One elf weighs 10 pounds plus half an elf.
08:56How much does the snowman weigh?
08:58All righty, if half an elf is 10 pounds, then one elf is 20 pounds.
09:10It makes Mrs. Claus pretty light, just 40 pounds.
09:13That's 20 times two.
09:15Finally, a snowman is three times the weight of Mrs. Claus, which makes its weight 120 pounds.
09:22Now, here's another math riddle for you.
09:27When the elf was 10, his brother was half his age.
09:30Now the elf is 16.
09:32How old is his brother?
09:41Half the elf's age would make his brother 5.
09:44Now that he's 16, you need to subtract 5, and you get 11.
09:49Well, enough math.
09:52Time to use some logic.
09:54Santa Claus's mother had three kids.
09:56The first child was named Chris.
09:58The second was named Susie.
10:01What was the name of the third?
10:10It was Santa.
10:12Yep, it was that simple.
10:13Elfie is this close to winning the title.
10:18Just one more riddle to solve.
10:20Santa and Mrs. Claus live in a one-story house at the North Pole.
10:25The walls are in Christmas colors, red and green.
10:28But what color are the stairs?
10:38There are no stairs, because we know it's a one-story house.
10:42Hey, you really helped out.
10:45And the best elf title goes to Elfie.
10:47Yay!
10:49Now, which of these Christmas puzzles was the trickiest?
10:52Let us know in the comments.
10:58That's it for today.
