00:00Are you ready to flex those brain muscles and level up your smarts?
00:05Let's start!
00:06You're in a dark, dark room with three light bulbs.
00:10There are three switches in the corridor.
00:12Your task is to figure out which switch controls which light bulb.
00:16How many times do you need to open the door to do it?
00:23Actually, just once.
00:29Turn on two switches at the same time and after a while, turn off the second one.
00:34Now enter the room.
00:35One light bulb is still on.
00:37The first switch controls it.
00:38Now all you have to do is touch the remaining bulbs.
00:41The warm one is linked to the second switch and the cold one is controlled by the third.
00:47A guy likes a girl and wants to know how old she is.
00:50She smiled mysteriously and said, yesterday I was 22 and next year I'll be 25.
00:57Can you guess when the girl's birthday is and what date this took place?
01:09I'm sure you figured out the conversation took place on the 1st of January and the girl's
01:13birthday is on the 31st of December.
01:17When she says yesterday, she means the 30th of December, when she was 22.
01:22She turned 23 the following day and since they were talking on the 1st of January, she
01:28will indeed be already 25 a year from that day.
01:35The detective stormed into the lab just in time to stop the theft of a groundbreaking
01:39secret formula.
01:41Two women stood under the harsh fluorescent lights, both dressed as scientists.
01:45But the detective knew one was the real deal and the other a clever thief with plans to
01:51swipe the priceless formula.
01:53One woman clutched a folder filled with papers.
01:56She had her ID badge clipped to her coat.
01:59The other one held a flask.
02:01So who's the thief?
02:10The detective noticed one subtle detail, a pair of pristine white gloves peeking out
02:15of the pocket of one of the ladies.
02:18Real scientist gloves don't stay clean for long in a lab.
02:21The spotless gloves were a giveaway.
02:24This lady wasn't experimenting.
02:26She was staging a heist and trying to leave no fingerprints behind.
02:32The detective decided to rest at the park.
02:35Suddenly, he heard a young girl crying.
02:38She told him someone stole her puppy of a rare and expensive breed.
02:42Three people nearby are acting suspiciously.
02:45Two women and a man.
02:47The first woman is holding a leash and claims it belongs to her own dog.
02:51The second woman is holding a bag of dog treats and says she has no idea what's going on.
02:57The man says he's just out for a jog and saw nothing.
03:01Who is hiding the truth?
03:11The detective notices it instantly.
03:13The first woman holding the leash is suspicious.
03:16It makes sense for someone to have a leash if they own a dog.
03:19But this leash is unusually clean and unused, with no signs of wear or scratches on the
03:25metal clasp.
03:27The second woman with the dog treats probably brought them to feed stray dogs or train her
03:32own pet.
03:33And it looks like the man isn't lying and really doesn't have anything to do with all
03:37this.
03:41The doctor gave her patient four pills of two types, two pills of each type.
03:47It's impossible to tell one from another, but it's important that the patient takes
03:50one pill of each type in the morning and the same in the evening.
03:54If he does something wrong, it could cost him his life.
03:57And yep, the pills got mixed up.
03:59And only you can save the patient's life.
04:02Can you figure out how to take the pills now?
04:12Just go back to the doctor and ask for more pills.
04:15Well, maybe it could work out in real life, but we're flexing the brain muscles here,
04:19so no.
04:20The patient will have to split each pill in half and take half of each pill in the morning
04:24and evening.
04:28A priceless crown arrived at a museum, and by priceless, I actually mean worth millions
04:34of dollars.
04:35It was still not on display, and only employees knew it was there.
04:39So when the crown went missing, the boss knew one of them had stolen it.
04:43She gathered all the staff in the exhibit room and told them she knew how to find the
04:47thief.
04:49Each of them had to walk past a special painting while the lights were turned off.
04:53The painting would scan everyone and reveal a faint glow when the thief passed by.
04:59The painting didn't glow at all during the procedure, but the boss knew exactly who had
05:03stolen the crown.
05:05How did she figure it out?
05:15The thief was the only one who hadn't walked past the painting.
05:18They believed it would glow, although their boss just made it up.
05:25A time traveler from the future accidentally stepped into the wrong portal and landed in
05:29our time.
05:31The portal he used has closed and he's stranded.
05:34He searched for a way to reopen it and noticed a strange message glowing on a screen nearby.
05:40How can he use this to reopen the portal?
05:51Did you notice that huge clock on the wall?
05:54The traveler must rotate the clock's hand, both the hour and minute hands, to align at
05:59the points mentioned in the note.
06:01He carefully set the hands at the right time, one after the other.
06:06When he aligned them one last time, the portal reopened and he stepped back into his time.
06:14Look at this beautiful family.
06:16One of these kiddos is named Kyle and he's standing at the edge.
06:20If Liz were standing next to Sam, Paul would end up next to his namesake.
06:25Can you tell who's standing where?
06:35Liz is definitely not standing next to Sam.
06:38For her to be next to Sam, the girl would need to stand in the second spot from the
06:42left.
06:43Then, two namesakes would be next to each other to the right.
06:48So here they're from the left to right.
06:50Kyle, then Sam, Paul, Liz, and the second Paul.
06:57You're standing in front of a locked door.
07:00Your best friend is trapped on the other side.
07:02Whoa!
07:03Something is popping up on the screen.
07:05There's a hammer, a puzzle piece, a flashlight, and a rope.
07:09It looks like you must solve this riddle to rescue your friend.
07:21I hope you figured it out because your bestie is pretty scared.
07:25It's the flashlight.
07:26You need to shine a light on the hidden code on the door to unlock it before using any
07:31other tools.
07:34Sophia and Lily were taking part in a local crafts fair.
07:38They were preparing for months.
07:41Sophia was really determined to sell all of her art because she made a bet with her husband.
07:46But the weather that day was just terrible.
07:49No one showed up to browse or buy anything.
07:52After hours of waiting with no customers in sight, both girls got really, really upset.
07:57Finally, they came up with a clever idea of how to sell everything, but without making
08:03any money.
08:04So what did they do?
08:14Sophia and Lily simply sold their art to each other.
08:17Neither of them made a profit or a loss.
08:20This way, they both technically sold everything.
08:26Mom comes home after a long day and immediately notices her favorite vase, the one she inherited
08:31from her grandma, shattered on the floor.
08:34She calls her three kiddos into the living room, Liam, Mia, and Zoe.
08:39None of them admits they did it.
08:41Liam says he was reading a book in his room and only came downstairs to greet Mom.
08:47Mia claims she was watching TV when she heard the vase breaking into pieces.
08:53Zoe says she was sleeping, but the vase drama woke her up.
08:58Mom inspected the scene and knew who did it.
09:01Can you do the same?
09:10Zoe broke the vase.
09:11The trail of wet footprints matches the drips from her popsicle, and she definitely wasn't
09:16enjoying a popsicle in her sleep!
