00:00So many organizations hesitate giving roles of responsibility and seniority and leadership to women
00:09because they know that for the woman the primary responsibility is the home.
00:16You would have heard of the term the glass ceiling.
00:18That's the reason fewer women rise to leadership positions in organizations
00:23because they keep displaying that the husband and the kid and the household is their first love.
00:30And if it is your first love, so it be.
00:32The company says, fine, then you take care of your first love.
00:34On one hand, we talk of the Bhagavad Gita and Shri Krishna says,
00:38action should emanate from your deep clarity.
00:42What is the Bhagavad Gita saying?
00:43Your action must come from your deepest self-knowledge.
00:46On the other hand, we find that our action as women is emanating from centuries-old conditioning.
00:54Whereas as women, our action is not coming from deep self-knowledge.
00:59Instead, it is coming from primitive conditioning.
01:02The house is a nice thing.
01:04We all need to have a house.
01:06I'm not asking you to bulldoze your house, please.
01:08But there needs to be a sense of perspective.
01:11What is important is important.
01:13What is less important is less important.
01:14And what is equally important for both husband and wife is equally important.
