00:00Police have solved a missing person case under the Nacharam police station limits in Hyderabad.
00:06The accused, M. Anji Babu, 33-year-old, a cab driver from Kothapalli in Peravalli Mandel of East Godavari district,
00:13was staying as a paying guest at the house of Sujata, 65-year-old, who was living alone in the Malapur Baban Nagar area.
00:21On the 24th of this month, Sujata's sister visited the house and found her missing.
00:26She later lodged a complaint with the police.
00:28During the investigation, police noticed that Anji Babu was also absconding and took him into custody on suspicion.
00:35During interrogation, he confessed to killing Sujata for her gold.
00:39He further admitted that with the help of his friends, Yuvraj, 18-year-old, and Durga Rao, 35-year-old,
00:46he transported the body to Krishna Lanka in East Godavari district and dumped it in the Godavari river.
00:52Police have arrested Anji Babu along with his two accomplices in connection with the murder.
