00:00Where is Priya Khomari?
00:02Pakistan People's Party led Sen government has been in power for over a decade.
00:08Yet it has failed to deliver for people, including failing to protect them.
00:15Today I am not asking about what Sen government has done to protect Sindhi Hindu Naris.
00:23Naris means girls.
00:25Today I am not asking about the grave human rights violation in the province.
00:32Today I am not asking about the Moro incident either.
00:36I could go and list issue after issue that Sindh has faced under the PPP's bad governance.
00:44But today I am asking about the Priya Khomari case.
00:48Priya, she was seven years old, is reported when she was abducted from Sakhar on August 19, 2021.
00:57More than four years have passed and her whereabouts remain unknown.
01:04Her mother has been begging for her recovery and repeated protests have been held in province but to no avail.
01:14In 2024, a committee was formed to dim down anger in the province.
01:20One of its members, SSP, the police officer, Amjad Shah admitted that Priya is alive and she can be recovered.
01:32So why has the government not recovered her yet?
01:36Why is PPP, which pretends itself as the champion of democracy and human rights, so indifferent to Priya's case?
01:51Imagine, if Priya were from different community in Pakistan, the action would have been taken.
01:58She would have been recovered by now.
02:03But Priya is Sindhi Hindu.
02:06Who cares about her or her mother?
