00:10According to officials, the complaint was filed on September 15 by one constable Suraj
00:14Shirodkar of the Goa police's social media monitoring cell at Panaji.
00:18Police said that the video, uploaded on the Facebook channel Realtalk Clips, carried false,
00:22malicious and superstitious allegations that could create fear and alarm.
00:26In his video, Akshay Vashisht alleged that the Mopa Airport was built on a cremation ground
00:30tied to mysterious labour deaths, a sacred people tree and even a secret human sacrifice.
00:35He claimed pilots avoided night flights after seeing a woman in a white saree running alongside
00:40the aircraft.
00:41Vashisht also cited a worker named Kabir who described shadows, voices and a spirit that
00:45haunted him even at home.
00:47With more than 5.7 lakh subscribers, Vashisht is known for narrating horror stories and paranormal
00:52case studies.
00:53But he is not the only one who has spoken of haunting at Goa's newest airport.
00:57Several YouTube channels and articles have circulated similar claims.

01:10He alluded to the swirling story and even asked why locals did not work at the airport after

01:15The Manohar International Airport was formally inaugurated in December 2022.
01:20Built at Mopa in North Goa, it was designed to reduce the pressure on Dabulim Airport and
01:24to boost connectivity for Goa's tourism economy.
