00:00investment has really started at trafalgar roundabout where we've tightened up the

00:04entry off of the roundabout into malplus road itself to try and slow vehicles down a bit further

00:10we've then invested throughout malplus road looking at surfacing improvements pedestrian

00:15crossings and green spaces for all to enjoy whether it be by bike or by foot let's take a

00:22journey so you're on lemon key which is being improved shortly you'll be able to leave your

00:27bicycle in a covered space and you'll be able to go through the underpass which is being improved

00:34all by time deal money you'll then be on the loops trail which will take you along newham road we've

00:41spent a lot of money on newham road that's the route to the lightridge key bridge which is yet to be

00:48delivered but will be you go across the bridge you're then in boscow and park on also on the loop

00:54uh onto boscow and park which is having massive improvements you'll then come down malplus road

01:03where we're standing now and you'll have the benefit of a much enhanced path cycle way much safer cycle

01:12way so we've carried out myriad improvements uh as far as trafalgar roundabout the works there were

01:19finished a couple of months ago and it's much safer there a lot of people walk around their school

01:25children um bicycles so it's a it's a very well trafficked area and the work we've carried out

01:32makes it all much more pleasant and safer we've now focused investment here at malplus road

01:38concentrating on reducing traffic speeds whilst improving the experience for those either by foot

01:45or by cycle along malplus road we've introduced new traffic calming we've looked at resurfacing of

01:51existing footways and we've put in new crossings and new green spaces for all to enjoy
