00:20Fertility Tasmania conducts its surgical procedures at the Hobart Private Hospital.
00:25It says if it can't operate out of the site, it might need to close.
00:29The service is calling on the government to help.
00:32Obviously if the government were happy to talk to us, we'd facilitate those talks
00:37because otherwise we're looking down the barrel of
00:42there's three doctors work at Fertility Tas and we've got ten employees.
00:46They'll all be without work.
00:48Calvary declined to comment on the future of Fertility Services at the Hobart site,
00:53but said questions would be answered in the new year.
00:55Competitor TAS IVF says it's confident it has the capacity to take on extra demand if required.

01:13The State Government has welcomed the sale saying that it's committed to ensuring continuity of care,
01:18patient choice and the sustainability of health services.
01:21Adding that the department will talk to the health sector and negotiate terms with Calvary next year.

01:33but we're really hoping that those services continue.
