00:00How is it this week in week number 17 that I'm looking at a game between the New York Giants and the Las Vegas Raiders and saying this could be the most intriguing game on the entire board for this week?
00:09And why?
00:10Because these two teams are fighting for the top spot, which means like, hey, pick up a win.
00:14You get the number one seat.
00:15No, lose.
00:16And you're probably going to get the top pick.
00:18We'll get to those odds in just a few moments.
00:19But, Joe, we're out tanking each other.
00:21You have players like Max Crosby, who you know would cut his leg off in order to play a football game today, telling the media, like, hey, what do you think?
00:29Like, should you tank this game to get the number one pick?
00:31He's like, dude, I'm going out there to wreck this entire game plan for the Giants.
00:34Less than a few hours later, he was inactive and on IR because they don't want him to wreck the game plan.
00:39Then you have the Giants going, like, we're going to peeve our best offensive lineman out of this because he's a little bit banged up with a hamstring, Joe.
00:44Every which way I look, including Brock Bowers, as you see the players ruled out, nobody wants to win this game, Joe, but somebody has to win.
00:52Unless we go to overtime like a 6-6 tie at this point, which would be the worst case scenario.
00:56Yeah, again, thankfully, it's a 4 o'clock kick because I could see if I win money in the 1 o'clock window.
01:03Double it.
01:04You could double down in this game.
01:05Come on.
01:06Thankfully, the 41 and a half is intriguing because it is Jackson, Dart, and Geno.
01:13Again, with no Max Crosby, no pass rush potentially.
01:16Granted, Andrew Thomas is out.
01:18I get that.
01:19But you would think that maybe both of these quarterbacks could have success through the air.
01:23Are they just going to line it and run it?
01:25I don't know.
01:26I guess we'll have to.
01:28It might be better to take a wait and see like an in-game approach on this game.
01:34You know, if you want to buy into the over at the 41 and a half, you know, do it and then see how it plays out.
01:40But I can't believe if both teams are in tank mode, New York going to Vegas is a two and a half point road favorite.
01:49Why?
01:50Based off what?
01:51It's been swinging back all week, too.
01:53Two and a half.
01:54It's almost like you say, I can't take a favorite.
01:56Whoever is the favorite, I'm going to fade them at that point.
01:58Now, Joe, you bring up a good situation because so many times you look at like NBA betting where teams are tanking.
02:04What do they usually do?
02:05I'm going to put my best foot forward in the first quarter, at least first, second quarter, or third quarter.
02:09The fourth quarter, we're going to the bench.
02:11We're up five.
02:11We're going to get blown out and get beat by 15 points.
02:13The reason I bring this up, would it be smart, Joe, to play first half props and or a side and a total knowing you're probably going to get somewhat decent football?
02:22Because we as all know, even me as an Eagles fan, a couple years ago, one of the very last games of the regular season, the Eagles were at home to the Washington Commanders.
02:30The Eagles were in a close game against the Commanders and suddenly pulled starters with like four minutes to go in that game to make sure they didn't score any more points and lost.
02:37That's a possibility in this game today.
02:39It is a possibility.
02:41We're seeing threes.
02:42I see threes in the market now.
02:43You know, I mean, that's crazy.
02:47That's that's a significant road favorite.
02:49Now, you know, for a team that's typically looking to lose and, you know, tank maybe the pick again.
02:56Where are you going prop wise outside?
02:58OK, so Bowers is out.
03:00Yeah, you're going Michael Meyer.
03:02Are you going Meyer again?
03:03Or are you just going to any looks either?
03:05Trey Tucker is the leading wide receiver.
03:08Tucker's been obviously explosive at times this year.
03:11Outside of Wondell Robinson, who do you have confidence in?
03:15Isaiah Hodgins?
03:17I mean, he's averaging 21, you know, 0.4 reception.
03:21I mean, per game that he's in there.
03:23That's terrible.
03:24Looking at the first half total, Joe, 20 and a half points at plus 105.
03:30Doesn't that feel high?
03:31Yeah, because again, I'm trying to say that we're going to get a cleaner first half than second half.
03:35But then you say, OK, they're going to score three touchdowns.
03:36Well, nobody really wants to get the lead.
03:38Let's run the football.
03:39Let's keep it down.
03:39I could see this halftime score.
03:42I don't know.
03:4310-7?
03:44Yeah, I'll go through a number of different first half.
03:47The Bronco game where they won.
03:49Remember where they kicked the field goal at the end?
03:51That was, I think, 21 at the half.
03:53It was 14-7.
03:54I remember the only game that really blew through the total for the Raiders was the Dallas game where Dak had a huge night.
04:02Remember with Pickens and Lamb on that Monday night?
04:04That was a huge first half total.
04:06But think about that offense.
04:08That's Dak Prescott, George Pickens, and C.D. Lamb.
04:12We're talking about Jackson Duck and Wondell Robinson and, oh, man, Geno Smith.
04:18I mean, if I had to bet this game, I probably would lay the three because it's, like, why are the Giants favored?
04:27The Giants are favored at minus three for what?
04:29And it's road.
04:30It's a road game.
04:31And that's what I'm saying.
04:32It's a long travel spot.
04:33Pete Carroll out there, he's dumb enough to win this football game.
04:35The Giants should have learned in the past, like, don't win these games, get a higher draft pick.
04:39But then I look at the rushing yards and say, I think I understand.
04:41We might not be getting an aerial assault from the Giants.
04:44And, by the way, play for Jackson Dart has gone down since he's not using those timed runs, which opens up the defense.
04:50If they know you're not running, they're going to sit back, and that hurts.
04:52Ashton Gentry, 77 and a half rushing yards, Joe.
04:54Tyrone Tracy, 58 and a half rushing yards.
04:56Any running backs?
04:57I probably would take Tracy.
04:59He's more explosive.
05:00I mean, he did hit 70 in the loss to the commanders.
05:04He's more explosive.
05:05Singletary, though, is splitting carries with him.
05:08I probably would take Singletary for an any time and take Tracy for the yards.
