Transcript
00:00E01 or E02 error on your Breville Smart Oven? Fix it fast.
00:05E01 and E02 are internal fault codes, often linked to overheating or sensor issues.
00:10They won't clear by themselves, but you can run a few safe checks before you call for service.
00:14Step 1. Power Reset.
00:17Turn the oven off, unplug it from the wall, and wait at least 15 minutes.
00:21This lets the control board fully discharge.
00:23Plug it back in and see if the code clears.
00:26Step 2. Check the outlet.
00:27Connect the oven directly to a grounded wall outlet.
00:31Avoid extension cords, power strips, or overloaded circuits.
00:34Unstable power can trigger fault codes.
00:36Step 3. Restore airflow and clearance.
00:39Give the oven at least 4 inches of space on both sides and 6 inches above.
00:43Keep the rear vent path clear.
00:45Do not cover the crumb tray or any surface with aluminum foil, which traps heat and can cause errors.
00:51Step 4. Clean the crumb tray and vent slots.
00:53Pull out and clean the crumb tray, and wipe debris from the vent slots.
00:57Do not touch the quartz heating elements themselves.
01:01Just clear around them so air can flow.
01:03A soft, heat-resistant cleaning brush is ideal for the vents and tight corners.
01:07I've linked one in the description.
01:09Step 5. Test again.
01:11Start a simple toast or bake cycle and watch for the error to return immediately.
01:15If E01 or E02 comes back right away after these checks, the fault is internal and requires service.
01:22Use the Breville Product Hub link in the description before your next cook.
01:26If this helped you understand E01 and E02, subscribe to No Filler Fixes for more fast appliance help.
01:33And if you need a heat-resistant cleaning brush, I've linked the one I use below.
01:37It fits the vent slots and cleans safely without scratching.
01:40Thanks for watching and let the sensors breathe.
