00:00Hey!
00:01You wanna keep it down, you fucking morons?
00:03My kids are sleeping!
00:04I'm so sorry, Ray.
00:07Lee, you wanna get these fucking pinheads out of my house, please?
00:11After seeing his friends off, Lee, still wanting more excitement, went out to town to buy some alcohol.
00:15It was this very decision that led to tragedy.
00:17When he returned, he found the house on fire.
00:19His wife was rescued by firefighters, but he just stood there stiff as a board like some passing stranger.
00:24Unable to believe what was happening before his eyes, by dawn his wife was loaded into an ambulance,
00:28and she had completely lost faith in him.
00:30His three children had been burned to charcoal.
00:32He was taken away by police for questioning.
00:34This accident was entirely due to his carelessness.
00:37Actually before leaving to buy alcohol he had added two logs to the fireplace.
00:40Perhaps because he had drunk too much when he went out to buy alcohol he forgot to put the fire screen back.
00:44He knew burning logs must have fallen onto the floor.
00:47After the police recorded everything they prepared to let him go, desperately was somewhat surprised.
00:51Would they really just let him walk away like this?
00:53In the police view this was just an accident.
00:55And so the police ended their interrogation.
00:57But guilt-ridden Lee did something foolish.
00:59He seized the opportunity to grab the officer's gun wanting to end this life burdened with sin.
01:03But the gun's safety prevented him from succeeding though no bullet was fired.
01:06His heart had already died.
01:07Several years passed.
01:08Life returned to quiet.
01:10Lee cut off almost all social connections.
01:12He made a living doing his old repair work.
01:14But the shadow of losing two children continued to haunt.
01:16His life was bland and colorless.
01:18Sometimes he would become rude over customer complaints.
01:20He treated life like an emotionless stone.
01:22That evening Lee received a phone call.
01:24His ex-wife had learned of Joe's death.
01:25Lee was surprised and nervous whether in the past or now Joe was the person Lee loved most.
01:29His ex-wife expressed her condolences to Lee and said she could come to the funeral.
01:33However when his ex-wife mentioned that she had a new family and was already pregnant he was somewhat shocked by that indescribable feeling.
01:38Regarding that incident only he remained stuck in place unable to let go.
01:41Joe's funeral was held as scheduled.
01:43His ex-wife brought her current husband and together they embraced their once closest loved one then turned around.
01:47And walked away like that leaving only Lee looking out of place in the corner.
01:50However every minute and second in Manchester could remind him of that accident.
01:54Looking at the beautiful scenery outside Lee's mood plummeted to rock bottom.
01:57Long suppressed emotions were released as well.
01:59Just around a corner he encountered his ex-wife.
02:02His ex-wife generously introduced him to this new life.
02:04Lee made up an excuse wanting to escape.
02:06He was asked by his ex-wife to have a proper chat with her.
02:08In fact the two did not part peacefully.
02:10After that she said many hurtful things.
02:12Losing three children at once is unbearable pain for any mother.
02:15Her heart became shattered and she had long understood that Lee was the same way.
02:18But she didn't have to bear that guilt.
02:20My heart was broken.
02:22It's always gonna be broken.
02:23But I know yours is broken too.
02:25But I don't have to care.
02:27I should fucking burn into hell for what I said to you.
02:30It was just...
02:31No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Randy, no.
02:32I'm just sorry.
02:33I can't, I can't...
02:35Love, love you.
02:36Maybe I shouldn't say that.
02:38I, I, I, I've gotta go.
02:40I'm sorry.
