00:08Perlis Mentri Besar post to replace Mohammed Shukri Ramli. Abdul Hadi told reporters after
00:13a lecture at a mosque in Terengganu on Friday that PAS still controls the Perlis Legislative
00:18Assembly, even though three of its assemblymen were sacked for withdrawing their support for
00:22Mohammed Shukri as the Mentri Besar.
00:52On Thursday, Mohammed Shukri announced his resignation due to health reasons, saying
01:03that he was experiencing heart problems which would not allow him to carry out his duty as
01:07Mentri Besar. This came after the statutory declaration signed by eight assemblymen, including
01:16the three PAS assemblymen and another five from Besar too, who retracted their support
01:20for Mohammed Shukri. The three PAS assemblymen were Saad Saman, Fakhrul Anwar Ismail and
01:26Mohammed Ridzwan Hashim, whose seats in the Legislative Assembly have been declared null
01:31and void by the Speaker. Abdul Hadi said PAS will be ready to face any by-election due to
01:36the three vacated seats.
