00:00Dancing judge Anton Debeck
00:02I love Christmas
00:05I wish I was one of those people who would start buying presents in June
00:09But I'm not
00:10I start buying presents on the 23rd of December
00:13It's not Christmas unless you're running around with your hair on fire
00:16Going, ah, I haven't got any more presents
00:22Comedian Lucy Beaumont
00:24Christmas Day, there's usually some sort of argument
00:27But nothing too major
00:29It calms everybody down
00:31We do that instead of playing board games
00:34We used to do Guess Who
00:36And now we just have an argument
00:38Oh my God
00:40Actor and writer Susan Wakoma
00:42Christmas gives a point to it being cold
00:45I love big coats
00:47I love, like, mulled wine
00:49And then as soon as it's, like, the 1st of January
00:51I'm like, where's the sun?
00:52And gladiator Tom Wilson
00:54A.K.A. Hammer
00:56I want to show people gladiators can sew
01:00From jewel to the sewing machine
01:02I can do it
01:03Merry Christmas one and all
01:10Celebrity sewers, please come forward
01:14We are 50 clear of the world
01:16We are pushed and free
01:18So, I'm your host Sophie
01:21I'm pregnant
01:22I'm practically the Virgin Mary
01:23Without the barn, the donkey
01:25Or the virginity
01:26Let's be honest
01:27Yeah
01:28Are you ready?
01:29I'm ready
01:30So ready
01:31It's that time of year
01:32You're going to make some terrible life choices
01:34At the Christmas office party
01:36You will, I think
01:38I've got my eye on you
01:39Yes, I will
01:40I can tell
01:41Yeah, you're wild
01:42I know
01:43But until then
01:44We're going to sew
01:45Esme
01:46What we're doing first
01:47Right, here we go
01:49Pass them round
01:50Thank you very much
01:51Oh, okay
01:52We want you to make a Christmas present sack
01:56It's got a band at the top
01:58With a drawstring closure
02:00And a lining
02:02Lining?
02:03Yeah, lining
02:04Is it absolutely necessary?
02:05Yes
02:06Okay, just checking
02:07Cheating already
02:08You'll find loads of coloured fabric
02:10In the haberdashery
02:11And there's festive embellishments on the cutting table
02:14With which to Christmasify your sacks
02:18Because we know that Christmas is not all about presents
02:22It's about the fabulous sacks that they come in
02:24So, are you ready to pimp your sacks?
02:27Oh, I'm ready
02:28Are you ready, I'm Tom?
02:29Yes
02:30Fabulous, okay
02:31Right
02:32You've got two hours
02:33Your time starts now
02:35Now
02:36Here we go
02:37As time is of the essence
02:39The celebrities need to think fast as well as festive
02:42When choosing both their fabric
02:44He's a bit you lads
02:46And their decorations
02:48That one
02:50An electric print
02:51I'm very traditional
02:52So, I love this
02:54This is Christmas
02:55And if my children were to wake up with a Christmas sack like this
02:57At the end of their bed they'd be delighted
03:02So, what have they got to do then?
03:04We've asked them to make a Christmas present sack
03:08Think how many presents will go in this bag
03:11Yeah
03:12So do you think the bigger the better than Esme?
03:13Yes
03:14Fabulous
03:15We could almost fit Esme in this sack
03:17I was thinking that
03:18That would be the best present, wouldn't it?
03:19It's a bottle of sherry and Esme pops out
03:21Yeah
03:23So what are all the elements that they have to do?
03:25Well, you've got the outside of the bag, you've got a lining
03:29And then you've got cords
03:32They might not choose the easiest fabric
03:34They might go for something sparkly and fun looking
03:36Which would be tricky to sew
03:37And you've got decoration
03:39It's important you express yourself
03:42You express yourself through your sack
03:45My job as a gladiator is being up there, knocking people down
03:52It's pretty heavy handed
03:54So pinning fabric is a challenge
03:57I've never made a sack before
03:59But I've made an oven glove
04:01They're quite different actually
04:04Last time I went on the sewing machine was about 35 years ago
04:08We used to make our own costumes
04:10Basically love this
04:12Alrighty, come on!
04:15The Christmas present sack is made from four pattern pieces
04:19First the top band pieces are stitched to the top and bottom edges of the main panel
04:25Then it's time to decorate
04:27Next the lining is attached to each top band piece creating a big loop
04:33A gap is left in one of the seams for turning out later
04:37Then the sides are sewn leaving a gap for the cord
04:41The sack is then turned right side out and the opening is stitched closed
04:46Finally two rows of stitching create a channel for the cord
04:51The cord is threaded, extra decoration is added and the sack is complete
04:57Good morning!
04:58Morning!
04:59Cracking on!
05:00You've got a plan for embellishing it
05:02Yes, so every Christmas I spend it in Lancaster with friends of mine
05:06And we drink martinis
05:07So that is what's going to be the embellishment on the front
05:10Ooh!
05:11Yeah!
05:12She is certainly keen on a Christmas martini
05:15Have you done any of this sort of stuff before?
05:17None at all!
05:18That's brave of you to come on
05:19Well doubly brave because you've chosen a slippery sequin fabric
05:22Which is really hard to sew
05:24It is really hard to sew, you're right
05:25That seems like madness
05:27Madness!
05:28Well, I've made something for madness
05:30Yeah
05:31It sucks
05:33Just name drop
05:35What's Christmas if it's not a massive clanging name drop?
05:40Yeah
05:41Clang!
05:42While Susan's gambling on sophisticated sequins
05:46Hello!
05:47This looks good!
05:48I like leopard print
05:50Lucy's gone for something saucy
05:52Well, I'm going to tell a story
05:54Because my mum used to have a nightdress like that
05:56It's meant to be, you know, When Mummy Kisses Santa Claus
05:59That song
06:00Right
06:01Like a take on that
06:02I show Mummy Kisses
06:05The inside of it is meant to be Father Christmas
06:09Mmm
06:10It's a bit like your mum sleeping with Santa in the 90s
06:13I'm very joking
06:15Good luck!
06:16Oh, thank you, Sophie
06:17Fabulous
06:18It's delivering up to sew
06:21Right sides
06:23Ah!
06:24Right sides together
06:26Stitch the top band
06:27I'm absolutely terrified
06:29My first step
06:31Oh, this is exciting
06:33The first job is to sew the top band to the main fabric
06:36That's so cool
06:38A gladiator on a sewing machine
06:40This is just where it's meant to be
06:41But the celebrities will have to hang tough
06:44Ooh!
06:46As even delicate sewing has its own dangerous obstacles
06:50Pins get in the way, don't they?
06:52They're moving with me
06:54I feel like I'm on Coronation Street, you know, that factory
06:58While this isn't a soap
07:00There's certainly room for slip-ups
07:02Careful of the sequins
07:03Ooh, God, that's slipped out underneath
07:05Especially with Susan's slippery fabric
07:08The sequins are hard
07:10As my and Patrick went lying
07:12Hello, Anton
07:14How are we doing? You look very studious
07:17I have to tell you, I'm terribly excited
07:19My children will love this
07:21How many kids have you?
07:22Two, I've got a boy and a girl
07:24Eight now
07:25Right
07:26Which makes Christmas even more feminine
07:27That is fun, isn't it?
07:28Do you dress up as Santa?
07:29Yeah, there's a photograph of me being Santa Claus
07:31Right, very thin, athletic Santa, aren't you?
07:33Well, I'd try to
07:34Actually, I am also quite good at moving
07:37I can do a twerk
07:38Can you now?
07:39I'd like to learn some ballroom
07:41Would you?
07:42Yeah
07:43You go back with your left foot
07:44So you go back
07:45Side
07:46Together
07:47Forward
07:48Side
07:49Together
07:50I feel amazing
07:51I feel like a swan
07:52You do feel amazing
07:53Thank you
07:54Shall I quickly show you the twerk?
07:55Yeah
07:56The best thing to do, Anton
07:58Imagine you're getting electrocuted
07:59Let me give that a thought
08:01Hang on
08:02And it's like it's coming at you
08:03Right
08:04And his legs are shaking
08:06And you're trying to get away
08:07But you just can't
08:08Okay
08:09You're searching
08:10Okay
08:11And then all the jelly goes
08:12All the jelly goes
08:13What?
08:14That's it
08:15Yeah
08:16Yeah
08:17Ah
08:18See you at the Christmas party
08:20All righto
08:21Let's make some mistakes
08:24Just like the wise men
08:29You've got a long journey ahead
08:30And no sat-nav
08:32You're half way there
08:34Oh my god
08:35We're looking good
08:36You've done this before, haven't you?
08:37No, I've not
08:38Yeah, you have
08:39Having attached their top bands
08:41It's time for our novice sewing stars
08:44To stitch on their decorations
08:46Sorry, did I say stitch?
08:48I mean iron
08:49Martini glass
08:52But even ironing
08:53Oh
08:54Might be a stretch for an Anton
08:56Don't wrong way around
08:57How can I get the sticky bit
08:58On the wrong bit?
08:59Absolute eejit
09:00I'm going for traditional Christmas design
09:02For my new nephew
09:04My sister's had a lovely boy
09:05Yeah
09:06Called Grayson
09:07Well, I know Grayson Perry
09:08Oh dear
09:09More name dropping
09:10Yeah, name dropping there
09:11I'm going to sew tinsel
09:14So this is going to be the martini liquid
09:17Oh, oh
09:18It's too fast
09:19What?
09:20Foot thing
09:21That's the technical term
09:22The foot thing
09:23A pedal
09:24Like I'm in a band
09:25Yeah
09:26While Susan pushes herself
09:27In the name of glamour
09:28Hello
09:29Hello
09:30Hello
09:31Lucy's saucy leopard print design
09:33Is ready for a sneak preview
09:35Do you like what I'm doing?
09:36Personally
09:37I'm not sure that just a leopard print sack
09:40That just
09:41Mam
09:42Screams Christmas
09:44It's meant to be
09:45You know that song
09:46I Saw Mummy Kissing Santa Claus
09:47Oh yeah
09:48But feels like he's gone a bit seedy
09:50Wise men, how are you doing?
09:55Tired?
09:56Confused?
09:57Following a light in the sky that you hope is a weather spoon?
10:01You've got 30 minutes left
10:03Currently sewing the lining
10:07It's inside out
10:08With the lining attached to the sack inside out
10:11There's one important step for the sewers to remember
10:14And you must leave a gap in the seam
10:17The gap enables the sack to be turned the right way
10:20Oh, I've made a bit of a boo-boo
10:22This is closed
10:23But Lucy has sewn us together
10:26It's all going on here
10:28I'm going to unpick it
10:30I'm about to pull this through
10:32Yes
10:33It looks a bit like when you get stuck with a duvet
10:35While the other celebrities turn their sacks the right way
10:38Can she do it?
10:39Will she do it?
10:41She's doing it
10:42Brilliant
10:44Lucy's left looking for an opening
10:46Surely
10:48There's the technology to not have to do this
10:51The need to invent a machine for unpicking
10:53Tom
10:54This is quite a sight, I have to say
10:56Seeing a gladiator intricately sewing a pattern
11:00So is this a hammer here?
11:02This is a hammer
11:03This is to remind myself who I am
11:04How tall are you?
11:05Six foot six
11:06How tall are you?
11:07Five foot three
11:08Let me stand up
11:09Hey, my bum just fits completely just above yours
11:11Oh, yeah
11:12It's really comfy
11:13I know
11:14It's really comfortable
11:15Can you just follow me round like this?
11:16I'm going to stay here
11:17It's fabulous
11:18I've finished unpicking
11:19I might just have a break
11:21I haven't
11:23I feel like we've been here years
11:25Hurry up, wise men
11:26The baby's crowning
11:27We've got 15 minutes
11:29I'm trying to pull the drawstring through and it's getting constantly caught
11:35The cord needs to be threaded through the narrow channels
11:38Last time I pulled the cord through, it was my children's swim costumes
11:42In actual fact, my wife's swimming costume
11:45We're nearly there, I think I can do this
11:48But Lucy's still battling with her bag
11:51If I finish it
11:53It's going to be a miracle
11:55Right, we've got ten minutes
11:57Oh my gosh
11:58And now I'm going to tart it up
11:59How about bells?
12:01That's me
12:04I've decided to me
12:05Lovely big bow
12:06You know
12:07You know it
12:08How much time have we got left?
12:11One minute left
12:13Terrifying
12:14Keep it up
12:15Fosse-fosse
12:16Ooh, ooh, ooh
12:17Fosse-fosse
12:18Come on, come on
12:19Come on
12:20Jazz hands
12:21Jazz hands
12:22So, so, so
12:23Piece of the resistance
12:24Bow
12:25Put some bells on
12:26I hear bells
12:27Perfect
12:28Oh
12:29It's just arful
12:31Needles of sewers
12:34It may be the most wonderful time of the year
12:37But your time is up
12:39I could actually do one of them martinis, Susie
12:42I know, right?
12:43The candle was homemade
12:44Wow
12:45Think arts and crafts
12:46That's great
12:47And you've got bells on it
12:48I like bells
12:49That's really cool, isn't it?
12:50I sewed it a bit messy
12:52But it's an actual sack
12:54You can't be sure that he's coming around
12:59With presents in his sack
13:03Four Christmas sacks
13:05Packed full of presents
13:07Made in just two hours
13:09Look at you, sparkly lot
13:12You look like a fabulous festive bunch of burglars
13:15So what do you think?
13:16Brilliant
13:17All of them, brilliant
13:18Bags of festive goodness
13:20Mmm
13:21It's a bad joke
13:22Yes, I get it
13:23That was good that
13:24Thanks
13:25Fast
13:26Jingle bells, jingle bells
13:28Jingle all the way
13:30Oh what fun it is to ride
13:33In a one horse open sleigh
13:36Jingle bells, jingle bells
13:39Jingle all the way
13:41Oh what fun it is to ride
13:44In a one horse open sleigh
13:47A
13:48Hey
13:49Hey
13:50I think the candle's great
13:51You've got little berries
13:53I love the colours
13:54Oh and it's a red lining
13:56That works really well
13:58If I'm being nitpicky
13:59Slightly misaligned at the side
14:01A little step
14:02But
14:03Put your draw chords
14:04Those work
14:05You hold it and tug
14:06Hold and tug
14:07Hold and tug
14:08That's the way with this sack
14:09Right
14:10Excellent
14:11Thank you very much
14:12Oh I feel a bit emotional
14:14I've had such a bad experience with judges over the years
14:17Let it out once
14:19Let it out twice
14:22But everyone knows
14:24It's just sevens and bones
14:27Pretty good
14:30Thank you
14:31Pleased?
14:32Yeah very pleased
14:33We've got a Christmas message which is to your new nephew
14:36Grayson
14:37Draw chords are in
14:38Yup
14:39The only thing I don't like is gold decorations
14:43Don't go with white
14:45But
14:46Obviously trying to curry favour with this judge
14:49With a massive bow
14:50And it's plump
14:51How do you have time to make bows?
14:53That's the difference between gladiators and strictly dancers
14:57They have time to make bows
14:59Thank God I'm no longer a dancer
15:02Everybody there was drinking martinis with me
15:06Everybody there was drinking martinis with me
15:10Well cheers Susan and your martini
15:15I think it's a lovely idea
15:16I like the fabric and it's great that you sewed these sparkly bits
15:21But the martini glasses disappear a little
15:24Yeah it does
15:25I think you needed a bit more contrast
15:27If they'd been a different colour they might have leapt out a little bit more
15:30It's interesting that you use sequins because they come unravelled
15:34Yeah
15:35This stuff is really difficult to sew
15:37There's a couple of little raw bits
15:39Also gold brocade phrase
15:41But I think it's a really good effort
15:43Mega festive
15:44Bravo
15:45Thank you
15:46I saw mummy kissing Santa Claus
15:54Underneath the mistletoe last night
16:01Well it's a murkier Christmas tale
16:04A bit of Christmas sleaze under the mistletoe
16:07Yeah, my mother
16:09I was hoping for a bit more than just ma'am
16:13I mean there isn't Santa Claus
16:15He's the toweling
16:16Santa's the toweling
16:17So it's a story we need to unpack
16:19With a bit more thought
16:21Slowly
16:22I'm not sure about this fabric
16:24Why?
16:25Because it's brown
16:26And it's not very Christmassy
16:28Christmas puddings are brown
16:30Well we could throw a bit of brandy over it and set fire to it
16:36Seems a little harsh
16:38It's a little bit untidy
16:41Got these little raw bits
16:42Yeah
16:43Oh God
16:44Yes
16:45He's had a hard life
16:46How come you didn't sew this in?
16:49I don't know
16:50You don't know
16:51I think I was eating a toffee crisp at the time
16:53If I'm honest
16:55When do we set fire to it?
16:59The judges will now rank the Christmas sacks
17:02From fourth to first place
17:04Fourth place
17:05We have
17:06Lucy
17:08It's a little untidy
17:10And I don't like brown
17:13As she had told you before
17:14In third place
17:16Is Susan
17:17The martini glasses disappear
17:19Oh okay
17:21In second place
17:26Tom
17:27Nothing much to choose between them
17:28You can be really really proud of it
17:30It's brilliant
17:31Thank you very much
17:32In first place
17:33Is Anton
17:37It's fabulous
17:38I love the candle
17:39And all the bells
17:41Thank you very much
17:42So you can bob off now
17:44Enjoy yourselves
17:45Relax and chill
17:46And you come back for the transformation challenge
17:48Off you go
17:49Thank you
17:50Shall we have an ag nog?
17:51No I want a brandy
17:52Branty
17:53Well done yous
17:54Thank you
17:55Well done
18:09...we wish you a Merry Christmas
18:10We wish you a Merry Christmas
18:11We wish you a Merry Christmas
18:14We wish you a Merry Christmas
18:16We wish you a Merry Christmas
18:18I'm a little toad.
18:20It all went swimmingly, I have to say.
18:23I mean, this is the best Christmas I've ever had.
18:27Who knew bells would have such an effect?
18:30You know, Anton's got his creativity, hasn't he, from his dancing.
18:33So I perhaps could have just swayed it if I'd got the chords right.
18:37It'd have been mine then.
18:38Esme said she wanted to burn it.
18:40She doesn't like brown.
18:42But they did acknowledge that it was a sack.
18:45Like, I'm actually really excited by the Transformation Challenge
18:48because, like, what's it going to be? You've got no idea.
18:51Like, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it,
18:53which is basically how I approach life.
18:58That bridge has arrived sooner than Susan thinks.
19:02Patrick and Esme are about to get the party started.
19:06Welcome back, sewers.
19:08It's now time for the Transformation Challenge,
19:11which is where you take something old, unloved and a bit knackered
19:14and you zhuzh it up a bit, a bit like I've tried to do with my feet.
19:18They still look like hocks of ham,
19:20but now they look like hocks of ham, you might win in a raffle,
19:22which is lovely.
19:24So, Patrick, what are you asking them to transform this week?
19:27On this day of Christmas, we judges give to the...
19:33Party wear...
19:38Inspired by the 12 days of Christmas,
19:40we would like you to make a fancy dress outfit for a child.
19:45Think swans, milking maids, geese, leaping lords, etc.
19:51Right.
19:51When we look at them, we must know what verse you did
19:57and we want to smile immediately.
19:59All right, OK.
20:00Now, the judges aren't allowed to be here for this.
20:03They're going to go out, probably eat some chocolates
20:05and put the wrappers back in the tin.
20:07Off you, Pop.
20:09Now the adults have gone, you've got an hour and a half.
20:12Off you go.
20:14Right.
20:15Right.
20:15That is cool.
20:17I think I've actually worn that.
20:19With 12 possible characters to choose from,
20:21our celebrities need to be decisive.
20:25Do you know what colour swan's legs are?
20:27Let me think about the last one I shaved.
20:29If they're to transform their chosen garments in time...
20:33What's it do, eh?
20:34A piece of laying, swans of swimming.
20:36This is a swan.
20:38What I'm thinking...
20:39I might just put this on the mannequin and call it a lady dancing.
20:42I don't know all the 12 days of Christmas.
20:44I was the kid who was quiet and then shouted...
20:48Five gold rings!
20:52So, party wear into a fancy dress outfit
20:57inspired by the 12 days of Christmas.
20:58They could be quite literal.
21:00It could be a swan or a hen or a drummer,
21:03but it could be something a little more tangential,
21:06as long as we can link it.
21:08There are lots of birds involved.
21:10There's lots of feathery fabrics,
21:11and that lends itself, obviously, to our feathered friends.
21:15We have cut them a bit of slack
21:16because we've given them these base outfits
21:19that they can use as a kind of structure
21:21to build their fancy dress outfit around.
21:24There's also wadding they can use,
21:26so they could make something 3D.
21:29Right, I'm off to see what my true love has given to me.
21:32I'm your true love.
21:38Oh, no, that's tall, isn't it?
21:40I need lots of padding, you know, to go in it, like, fill in.
21:43What I'm doing, three French hens,
21:45we've got, er, kind of, like, ghibli bits.
21:49Awful.
21:50Er, we've got, like, a bit of red,
21:52we've got a little bit of this.
21:54We're gonna rustle feathers.
21:55That's what we're gonna do.
21:56Oh, it's feathers everywhere.
21:58Tom, how are you?
21:59I'm covered in feathers,
22:00but that should be a good sign to what I'm doing.
22:02Seven swans are swimming.
22:04Do you like the...
22:05the swan's beak I'm gonna go for?
22:07What else is going on, then?
22:08Have you got eyes?
22:09I'd not thought about eyes.
22:12I'm guessing the child will have eyes.
22:14Yeah, because they bring their own eyes.
22:17So, I've got a goose here.
22:19I'm doing piece of laying.
22:20Can't you tell?
22:22Can't you tell?
22:23Wah!
22:24Wah!
22:26I'm absolutely quackers.
22:28While most celebrities choose to make beautiful birds...
22:32Don't fight the sparkle.
22:34Lucy's choice.
22:35What are you making?
22:36Er, udders.
22:37Udders?
22:38You know, the maids milking.
22:39Is a little more niche.
22:41Have you done an udder before?
22:43This is my first udder surfing.
22:44Right.
22:45That's quite a good udder, isn't it?
22:47Do you think?
22:47Yeah.
22:48Well, it's gonna be a cow.
22:49Are you confident you'll know this is a cow?
22:52I mean, it's not a giraffe, is it?
22:55You know your animals.
22:56I know animals.
22:57So far, I've done a bit of stitching on the washing machine.
23:02What did I say, washing machine?
23:04Sewer machine.
23:05That's about fits on my arm, to be really honest with you.
23:10That's my swan.
23:11Do I hear the word swan from over the other side of the room?
23:14I've got bird competition.
23:15Anyway.
23:17I'm creating wings.
23:20Rick.
23:20Hello, dear.
23:21I'm just checking out what you're doing.
23:23I'm just trying to get a few tips.
23:24Since you did win the first one, I need to know what.
23:27Well.
23:27Yeah, but we've moved on from sacks, so I'm back where I start.
23:34Sewers, you're halfway through.
23:37I've just sewed this with a slight opening.
23:41Gonna just stuff with filling.
23:43While it's traditional to stuff birds at Christmas...
23:46If this doesn't say bird, I don't know what does.
23:48...Lucy's udders are having an identity crisis.
23:51I am worried that this looks like a...
23:54...turkey.
23:56And she's not the only one getting muddled.
23:59We're gonna be putting this tartan hood on my French hen.
24:05Susan's French hen has become a Scot.
24:08I probably should have picked something less Scottish, but it's cool.
24:11Hello.
24:12It looks fabulous.
24:13I think I might like this for the baby.
24:15Really?
24:16I might take it home with me.
24:17If it all goes really bad, you sort of have to lie.
24:21Yeah.
24:22You'll just know because I won't pick it up at the end.
24:26I'm just attaching patches and the udder to the cow.
24:30Look at that.
24:34Eh.
24:34Wow.
24:35My daughter would never let me make her a dress like this.
24:40I've just seen Lucy's...
24:42Is that a swan?
24:43That could be a swan.
24:44No.
24:45Milking things.
24:46Nice.
24:46Excellent.
24:47Cows are milking.
24:48Ooh.
24:50Hello, cheeky lady.
24:52Do you like it?
24:54Interesting.
24:55Very avant-garde.
24:56Do you think?
24:57Yeah.
24:58You've definitely got the edgy number.
25:02Right, so it's 15 minutes.
25:04Stress, stress.
25:05All the celebrities are rushing to add familiar features.
25:09Might make an egg.
25:11Geese are laying.
25:12And Lucy's milking it.
25:14If you live life dangerously, I would like to make udders for the head as well.
25:19I'm only going to need about ten minutes and then I'm just going to cry in the toilet.
25:24Like Christmas Day, really.
25:26For Susan...
25:26Bugger.
25:29Christmas is already by a humbug.
25:31I've sewed strips of embellishment over the beak.
25:35I'm hiding the end of the beak.
25:38Which I really wasn't meant to do.
25:40So I've got to unpick it, which is really annoying.
25:43Well, I'm having a lovely time.
25:44I'm making a golden egg.
25:46A five, six, seven, and a one.
25:49Anton, too much fossing.
25:51I said, lie.
25:53Oh, my God.
25:54I'm attempting to sew the swan's feet.
25:58And that is a swan's foot.
26:01I put some leggings on the head and now I'm stitching the udders.
26:04With no one else dressed like this, you know.
26:06I've got to sew this again.
26:08Five minutes, come on!
26:10Oh, God, no.
26:11Shall we hang the egg from the bottom?
26:14Ooh!
26:15I love the feet.
26:17It's that competitive gladiator.
26:18I've got it in there.
26:20Come on.
26:21It's a bit worried.
26:22I'll ruin it.
26:22One minute!
26:23We're running out of time.
26:26It's stuck.
26:27No child would want to wear this.
26:29Ooh.
26:30Shove the eyes on.
26:31Celebrity sewers.
26:32Needles up.
26:34I did it, guys.
26:35Nay bother, as the Scots say.
26:37It's like Beyonce if she was a hen.
26:41Imagine going out of the house dressed like this.
26:49Mama's got piles.
26:50Please bring your mannequins forward.
26:53Got a lot of birds going on, haven't we?
26:55Lucy.
26:56Fantastic.
26:57I love...
26:57I love...
26:58Genius.
27:04Oh!
27:04I know who my winner is.
27:07You did the audience.
27:08You.
27:08On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, my partridge in a bird dream.
27:14A collection of party clothes transformed into outfits that celebrate the song, The Twelve
27:19Days of Christmas.
27:20Judges, you can take a break from wrapping my fabulous presents.
27:25Come and have a look.
27:26Esme and Patrick having a clue whose outfit's whose.
27:30Well, that's quite a lot of birds.
27:32Ooh la la, yes.
27:34Somebody's geese have been a-laying.
27:35On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, three French hens, two turtledoves,
27:42and a partridge in a bear tree.
27:44What do you think this is?
27:47Well, I mean, it is very clearly a bird.
27:49Yes, absolutely.
27:50Which of our birds is it?
27:51Is it, it's not a French hen, because it's got a tartan hat on, although the French did
27:56like the Scots.
27:57Yes.
27:58Well, maybe it's got bird.
28:00Yeah, I don't remember that one from the rhyme.
28:04It's not the swan, it's not a geese.
28:07Is it a calling bird?
28:08I don't know.
28:08But I'll tell you what, this hat is brilliantly engineered.
28:13Look how great the fit on that hat is.
28:16The feathered dress has been used to perfection.
28:20I mean, it does look like something you'd wear to a party, doesn't it?
28:24Yeah.
28:24I mean, there's hints of pipers, because they're Scottish.
28:27Is it a bird?
28:28Is it a piper?
28:29Or is it a plane?
28:32On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me.
28:35Seven swan, four swinging six, he's a-laying five, golden ring.
28:40This, to me, is a swan.
28:43Yes.
28:44Size orange beak.
28:45It's great how this orange matches this.
28:49I love the way that they've used felt just to cut out bright orange feet.
28:54This party dress has given us all the white feathers that we need.
28:58Yes.
28:58It's really wearable.
28:59I think it's a great fancy dress outfit.
29:02Love it.
29:02It's brilliant.
29:03On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me.
29:06Eight maids are milking, seven swan, two swimming, six, he's a-laying five, golden ring.
29:13This is maids are milking, isn't it?
29:15This is the cow that the maids who are milking are milking.
29:18What do you think these are?
29:20The nipples.
29:21I think they call them udders, but we can go with nipples.
29:24I think this is very amusing.
29:26I'm a maid.
29:28Milking it.
29:29She can't resist.
29:31I think the use of the fabrics here is brilliant.
29:36We've just got a couple of judicious brown spots on our cow just to signpost it.
29:42I love the little horns, if they are horns.
29:44The udders, I just think, are brilliant.
29:47I mean, this looks like a pair of leggings that have been somewhat crudely manipulated.
29:53Yes.
29:54I've rarely been more amused by anything I've seen in this room.
29:57Moo.
29:57That's the sound effect you need to make whilst wandering around in this costume.
30:03But I'm not going to wear it.
30:05You're a loss.
30:05I'll be wearing it anyway.
30:07On the sixth day of Christmas, which you are getting to me,
30:11six, he's a-laying five, golden ring.
30:15This is another bird.
30:17Which bird?
30:19It begins with a G and rhymes with moose.
30:22Goose.
30:22Correct!
30:23That's what I think it is, anyway.
30:25Again, I think it's brilliant use of the feathery party frock.
30:28The beak, the eyes.
30:30You get a lot of storytelling there.
30:32Any eggs you can see?
30:33It's not Peter.
30:34No, what about the egg at the back?
30:36What about this egg?
30:37What did you think that was?
30:39I didn't see it.
30:40Doing a golden poo for Christmas.
30:42Yes.
30:43It is laying a golden Christmas egg.
30:46I think there's some really lovely details in this.
30:48It's great.
30:49Hats off to all of you.
30:51This is an absolute Christmas cracker.
30:53I don't think we've seen transformations this good in a long while.
30:57Esme and Patrick will now rank the festive outfits.
31:03Whose will be gifted victory?
31:05And whose goose is cooked?
31:07In fourth place...
31:10It's that one with the tartan.
31:14Well, that's Susie's.
31:15We really liked it, but we didn't know what it was.
31:18It's a French hen, but the tartan threw you.
31:21A little beret and maybe a string of onions.
31:24Or, like, carrying a baguette.
31:25Anything French, really.
31:28Merci.
31:29In third place is our swan a-swimming.
31:34Tom.
31:35I mean, that is seriously impressive.
31:38Loved it.
31:38It's just amongst a menagerie of other brilliance.
31:41In second place is...
31:46Cow.
31:46That's Lucis.
31:48Oh, my God, I can't believe it.
31:50It did so well.
31:51It's mad, and that's why we liked it.
31:54I just knew how to make udders.
31:56Sometimes you find your calling in life.
31:58Well done, Lucis.
31:59Which means, in first place, is our wonderful goose-a-lay-in.
32:03Ooh!
32:04That's not Tom.
32:06I mean, it was all a very close-run thing.
32:09You've created this wonderful shape, but the crowning glory is its little egg.
32:15What a day.
32:16What a day.
32:16What a day I could rarely have ever dreamt of.
32:19Yes.
32:19One again.
32:20Sounds too grand, doesn't it?
32:22I just came out on top.
32:23I couldn't believe that I came second.
32:26Don't think I deserved it.
32:28From a technical point of view, from a novelty point of view, yeah, I wipe the floor with everybody.
32:33Well done, mate.
32:33Brilliant.
32:34A bit disappointing, I came third.
32:36But, to be fair, just look at that line-up.
32:38They were just all fantastic.
32:40Every time I hear three French hens, I'm going to just start wildly screaming.
32:45Or, I don't know, speaking in a Scottish accent.
32:47I don't know, speaking in a Scottish accent.
33:17Whether that actually happens, I have no idea.
33:20Hurry down the chimney tonight.
33:23Welcome back, celebrity sewers.
33:25And hello to our fabulous festive models.
33:29So, today's made-to-measure challenge, the judges would like you to create an outfit based on your favourite Christmas treat.
33:37Mine would be a hot man wrapped in bacon.
33:41You've got four hours, and your time starts now.
33:46Put your arms up for me.
33:50You hold it on your waist, and put it all the way to the ground.
33:52I love food at Christmas.
33:54I cook.
33:54It's my job.
33:55I'll do the ham.
33:56Because, you know what I mean, it's hammer.
34:00I like a soggy Brussels sprout.
34:01But I feel like Christmas is the time where I'm allowed to, and no-one's going, ugh.
34:09So, tell me, why have you picked this challenge?
34:11We all love a Christmas treat.
34:13True.
34:14We've given them complete free reign.
34:15They could dress their model up as a Christmas putty, you know, something that's literal.
34:19Yeah.
34:19Or it could just be something that takes inspiration from their Christmas treat.
34:23We just want to be able to follow that story.
34:26But they probably never done fitting on the body.
34:30Right.
34:31That's going to be difficult.
34:32Esme, what would be your Christmas treat?
34:35Sherry.
34:36Mmm.
34:37It's quite sweet.
34:39Just like you, Esme.
34:40Sweet and alcoholic, that's what you want, isn't it?
34:48Oh, the fabric's lovely, isn't it?
34:50Yeah.
34:51Right, let's go.
34:52Good morning.
34:53Morning.
34:54What is your treat?
34:55Something that I know is going to be in abundance in my house at Christmas, which is champagne.
35:01Right.
35:01Champagne.
35:02I wanted to incorporate old ballroom dresses.
35:05Something a little old school.
35:06Lovely.
35:06Anton's aiming for high fashion, with a dress inspired by a glass of his wife's favourite festive tipple.
35:13A fishtail skirt represents the base, while a structured bodice will mimic the rim of the champagne flute.
35:20The front is going to sit out.
35:22And also, I love all this stuff, so we're going to use this in the glass as though it's champagne.
35:27Oh, wow.
35:28It's ambitious, but I think if you pull it off, it'll be a knockout.
35:32Hopefully.
35:32Cheers.
35:33Cheers.
35:34Nice.
35:36While Anton plans to toast his victory, Tom's hoping success will be sweet.
35:41What's your treat?
35:42Gingerbread.
35:43Gingerbread?
35:44Oh, you know, I love gingerbread.
35:45And you've got a ginger wife, haven't you?
35:47I have got a ginger wife.
35:48You love the ginge?
35:48You're ginger.
35:49I know.
35:50Do you know what I mean?
35:50You're my favourite.
35:51Of course.
35:53Yeah, but don't try and eat me.
35:54I won't have her.
35:55The base of Tom's gingerbread-inspired outfit will be a satin pinafore dress.
36:02Decorations include rick-rack icing, a candy-stripe belt and an assortment of treats.
36:08Plus one final touch.
36:10There's going to be a big boat to win Esme over.
36:12Big boat.
36:12Ready as well, look.
36:13She loves a boat, yeah.
36:14I think it'd suit you, actually.
36:15Do you know what?
36:16It's all yours when it's finished.
36:18Yeah, we'll see how good it is.
36:19You'll know.
36:20Yeah, you'll know.
36:22Right.
36:23Hilariously, I need a nice pencil to make time.
36:28Come on.
36:29It takes something special to win the Sewing Bee crown, and Susan's sewing a design inspired
36:39by the after-dinner classic, the Annetta.
36:42This is an ice dessert that I would have as a kid at Christmas.
36:47My mum would say, serve yourselves, and we'd be, like, stabbing it, trying to get it all
36:51crunchy and get to the bottom.
36:53Susan's making an asymmetric mini dress.
36:56With a base of satin, white and brown organza ruffles represent the iconic chocolate and
37:02vanilla layers.
37:03I'm pleating to create the frilly chocolate.
37:06The key is to not make it look garish.
37:10So it's elevated.
37:11Yes.
37:11It's haute couture.
37:13Absolutely.
37:13Chocolate couture.
37:15Oh.
37:16Chocolat couture.
37:17Chocolat couture.
37:18Chocolat couture.
37:18Chocolat couture.
37:19Chocolat couture.
37:19Chocolat couture.
37:19Chocolat couture.
37:19Chocolat couture.
37:20While Susan indulges her sweet tooth, Lucy...
37:24Good morning.
37:25Good morning.
37:25That's just something more savoury.
37:27I'm doing blue cheese and onions, pickled onions.
37:30Pickled onions?
37:31That's what I like to eat.
37:32What time of day are you getting stuck into the blue cheese and pickled onions?
37:34Straight away.
37:35Before the presents?
37:36I just mean from December.
37:38Oh.
37:40Lucy's festive cheese dress features blue overlay and pickled onion pearls with a cream cracker
37:46handbag.
37:47Borrowing a style from another era, the dress emulates a wedge of cheese.
37:52The 60s style lends itself to the shape of cheese.
37:55I think the 60s and cheese go hand in hand.
37:57Also, this is very clearly veiny cheese.
38:00It's making me very peckish.
38:02He's going for cheese.
38:03See you.
38:05But attaching the delicate veiny fabric is no mean feat.
38:09There's a pin coming up.
38:10Mmm!
38:11It's stuck on the pin.
38:13It's so wonky.
38:14I'm going to unpick it.
38:15What a shame.
38:16Although Lucy's cheesed off, the other celebrities...
38:20Careful, I don't ping it.
38:21..are ready for the first fitting.
38:24Yay!
38:24How's that?
38:27It's quite nice, isn't it?
38:29Anton's champagne flute is far from finished.
38:31This lovely fabric will sit underneath so it will kick out.
38:36He's adding multiple layers.
38:38Well, I wouldn't expect anything less than this sparkly affair.
38:42I'm doing a little gathering technique.
38:43What we do is you put a couple of rows of stitching in there,
38:47pull, and it starts to gather.
38:49We can get a nice champagne effect.
38:51So you love champagne, and who cooks?
38:54Hannah, my wife.
38:55I do topping out and entertainment as my role.
38:57I just bring charisma and a speaker.
39:00That's what I bring.
39:01And then...
39:04Go on!
39:05Yeah.
39:06Go on!
39:08I love that.
39:09You can come round.
39:10I might well.
39:11Might even bring the frock.
39:12Bring the frock for me.
39:13I'll have that.
39:14If your wife doesn't want it, of course, it should be a Hannah.
39:16No, no, you can have it.
39:17All right, yeah.
39:18Sod her.
39:19Sod Hannah.
39:20Hannah who?
39:21Merry Christmas, Hannah.
39:22Oh!
39:22Celebrity stars!
39:23Halfway!
39:24Oh, wow.
39:25I'm so behind.
39:26While Lucy races to catch up...
39:28Hey, Anton, do you want a quick dance?
39:30The other celebrities...
39:31Five, six, seven...
39:32Are kicking back.
39:33One, two, three...
39:34One, two, three...
39:35One, two, three...
39:36One, two, three...
39:37One, two, three...
39:38One.
39:39Add the jump as well and the big finish.
39:40Well, thank you for that.
39:41A showstopper is certainly on Susan's mind.
39:43Couple up there.
39:44I need massive volumous frills.
39:58But bigger isn't always better.
39:59I'm handsewing.
40:00The decorations...
40:01Look at these big spades of hands.
40:02It's well difficult.
40:04One, lovely showbuttons down the middle.
40:07The needle is really getting stuck.
40:10They actually face a proportion of the reason that we're starting to make up with five.
40:13Hands are too big to get behind. Let me just bring it up a little bit
40:18Well, that's not even working either Tom might be battling buttons
40:22But Anton has to make an entire glass of champagne, but this is paper pattern for my flute
40:30He can't see how to create the curve of the glass. Oh
40:35God then about the shape
40:37Let me have a little thing and he's not the only one
40:43I was making a champagne flute, but maybe the coop would have a bit more of a thing
40:49Sorry, my love. I'll be with you in one second
40:52What I want
40:54Right, thank you
40:57So I'm basically going with the coop. I
41:02Mean sure is glue gun somewhere
41:06Right I'm catching up so blue cheese. I love blue cheese and pickled onion on a cracker
41:11I once got back from a Christmas party and sat on the floor by the fridge and at a whole
41:17wheel of camember
41:23Celebrity sewers
41:26You've got one hour I
41:30Think you'll find Craig will want that back rather soon. Well, he's not having it
41:34Go
41:35Mmm, a little stab on the finger
41:38To join the many this is more dangerous than the gladiators Tom has
41:43Really gone to town on his gingerbread creation. I hope it gets it finished
41:48I'm now sewing ice cream onto my dress as we go. There's more and more material
41:53So it's hard to manage since it's pretty complicated
41:56She's got all those layers. She's actually still got quite a lot left to do these look like pickled onions
42:02I'm just going to use these as decoration
42:05Lucy reads well as a veiny cheese, and I really like the little pickled onions, but it's
42:11Simplest dress what Anton wouldn't give for a simple slice of cheese
42:17This is looking a bit like a shield at the moment and comes is the most difficult
42:22It's supposed to be the flute of champagne with the froth
42:26But yeah, at the moment it's looking more suit of armor
42:32It seems that somebody's eaten all the chocolates. I don't know who it is
42:38But what I could interest you in
42:40It's 30 minutes left. No
42:44I'm making a cheese cracker handbag
42:48Which are gonna be all the rage everyone is gonna want one while the girls rush to accessorize
42:54headband Tom
42:56There's gone rogue
42:58Ditching his needle and fixing decorations with glue
43:02And some heavy metal
43:04This is great work of an iron
43:06Right quick kiss on the hammer
43:08You know and we'll get there the true gladiator inside of me. He's got to come through and
43:14Take the win
43:16But Tom's not the only gladiator in the arena
43:18This is still too shieldy
43:20And Tom's model should fit in at a champagne reception
43:24Not ancient Rome
43:26Maybe the sequence could work
43:28Oh no, it's still too much of this I think
43:30It looks like Richard of Lionheart
43:32Right, just need glue
43:34Oh wow, the gladiator's nearly done
43:37Do you know my gladiator name?
43:39The spike
43:41The spike
43:42How about if we put some of this on the outside?
43:45It's like Chanel
43:47Let's try and glue the back of that
43:49Oh
43:51Disaster
43:52Snapped
43:53I need to put this back together
43:55How much time have we got?
43:56Five minutes cheeky geese
43:58Bit of blink
44:01Do you know what I mean?
44:02Oh no
44:03If it falls down
44:04I'm going to run out of time
44:05One
44:06Two
44:07Come on
44:08I'm going to just handle that
44:10Oh god that stuck
44:11How long left?
44:12One minute my naughty little puddings
44:15Panicking
44:16Stress
44:17Oh no
44:18This pin is not going to go through this buckle
44:20Oh god
44:21This could take forever
44:22Oh
44:23Finish
44:25Nightmare
44:26Let's see
44:28Needles up sewers
44:30It's time for the catwalk
44:31Do you think you're enough?
44:33Oh
44:34That's cool
44:35It's actually really cool
44:36This is Christmas
44:37Can you rest a bit?
44:39Woo!
44:40Fashion
44:41Ooh
44:42Ooh
44:43Fashion
44:44Ooh
44:45Fashion
44:46Ooh
44:47Ooh
44:48Ooh
44:49Well I wish it could be Christmas
44:54Every day
44:56Work
44:57Work
44:58Work
44:59Work
45:00When the kids start singing and the band begins to break
45:03Woo
45:04Beautiful
45:05I wish it could be Christmas
45:08Every day
45:10Yes
45:11So let the bells ring out for Christmas
45:18Good job Big Hammer
45:19Big Hammer
45:20Big Hammer
45:21Wow
45:22Loves a bow
45:24Got bow envy
45:31It's an absolute triumph
45:32I mean it really really leaps out at me that this is decorated gingerbread
45:38It's got very strong Hansel and Gretel vibes
45:41You've managed to pull off this amazing feat of making something that could feel quite novelty actually feel really fun and chic to wear
45:49One thing I just wish you'd put this icing right over the edge
45:53You've got half straight half curve half straight
45:55And also did you sew these decorations or did you iron them on?
46:02Stitch some iron some
46:03What did you stitch?
46:05Well I'll look
46:08There's ironed
46:09There's ironed
46:10There's ironed
46:11There's ironed
46:12There's ironed
46:14I think they're all ironed
46:16But I do think it looks like a gingerbread
46:20And you've got a bow
46:22Do you like it?
46:23Yeah I do
46:24It's great
46:25Thanks so much
46:26Delicious
46:28Running wild
46:29Did you see me late at night
46:32Delicious
46:35How'd the pink
46:37Don't you think we're out of time
46:40Feels so right
46:42Da da da dum
46:43Da da da dum
46:47Well I love the idea of doing cheese
46:50Yeah
46:51I like your pickled onions
46:54And I love this fabric
46:56It's lovely isn't it?
46:57But it's puckering
46:59Because this yellow underneath
47:01Is longer than the top layer
47:03It is a simple dress
47:05But the storytelling is absolutely bang on
47:08It's a literal cracker
47:10It's very distinctly 60s
47:12The pearl is reflected in the little pearl in the chain in the handle
47:15There's a brilliant label called Mother of Pearl
47:17Yeah alright
47:18And Amy Powney who was the designer
47:20That was her sort of signature detail
47:22She needs to watch out
47:23She needs to watch out
47:24Because there are pickled onion silten dresses coming for her
47:27It is a treat
47:28Lovely
47:29Oh thank you
47:30I remember a time when you dressed as a lump of cheese at Christmas
47:33Wedges of cheese
47:34Yes
47:35Round my neck
47:36I've still got your cheese costume
47:37Have you?
47:38Aww
47:39You're not having it back
47:40Yeah
47:41Powdered
48:08It perfectly reads, glass of champagne, there's a real elegance to it, you've got the frothy, what the French call the mousse, frothing over the top of the glass.
48:17I am not 100% convinced by the shape, it's really hard to make an elegant curve in one piece of material, you just didn't have the time to do that.
48:28Now it doesn't take away at all from the fact that it's got tons of impact and tons of elegance.
48:34The fit on the dress is fantastic and the way it moves, that net at the bottom, it's pure sort of Ginger Rogers business.
48:42Absolutely, I love the frill, it looks 3D.
48:45That reminds me of the old days, reams of netting.
48:48And we've got all this froth.
48:50You know, I tried my best.
48:52You've got glitter on everywhere.
48:54In my hands, my clothes, but I feel comfortable with the glitter.
48:58When I don't have enough glitter on, I feel naked.
49:01Well, it looks great.
49:04Let's go together
49:06Right now
49:10Oh yeah
49:13It's sweet harmony
49:20Let's go together
49:21Right now
49:26Oh yeah
49:29I instantly feel like I'm in trouble
49:40There's one thing I'm going to say
49:42Let me know
49:43We've got this piece that's longer than the frill
49:48Oh gosh, yeah
49:49But I think it looks great. You've done a lot of work
49:53Thank you
49:54And how was it, sewing those on?
49:56As a complete sewing novice, that was tough
49:59Well, you've handled all of these layers amazingly
50:02And left it feeling so light and fluffy
50:05It manages to feel like very, very elevated evening wear
50:09While still being inspired by a tub of ice cream
50:12Also, this headpiece, it's a bit like one of those triangle wafers you get at the top of a sundae
50:17There we go
50:18Like it's the perfect shape
50:19Oh
50:19I mean, it's a dessert for the eyes
50:22It's absolutely brilliant
50:23Oh, thank you so much
50:25I think that I did my dessert
50:28All the justice in the world
50:30Like, I looked at it and I felt hungry
50:32I really like it and I would wear it
50:35And I'm going to
50:36I'm going to take it home
50:38I was concerned it was looking like a big breastplate
50:40But we got there in the end
50:41It'd be lovely to win
50:43It'd be lovely to win
50:44Oh, it'd be so nice to win something
50:47I am massively like a kid at Christmas
50:51I cannot wait to find the result out
50:53Just let me know quickly
50:54Because I need to know if I've won or not
50:56And if I haven't won
50:57I still think I've won
50:58There's a lot of fabulous stuff here, isn't there?
51:04I don't think we've had so many amusing and lovely looking things
51:08I mean, we've never had others for a start
51:11Who's your favourite?
51:12Tom's is brilliant
51:13Yes
51:14Told the story
51:15It looked edible
51:16Also, I love Susan's
51:19It's absolutely wearable to party
51:22We came into this morning
51:25With Anton having come top of the roost
51:28You know, he won the pattern
51:30He won the transformation
51:31Today, he was hugely ambitious
51:34He handled the dress beautifully
51:37The bodice piece is a little bit cumbersome
51:40Tom and Susan are top of the pile
51:42Yep
51:43Here
51:44Having been slightly below there
51:48Which means they're dead level in my head
51:51Which makes it very difficult
51:52Celebrity sewers
51:59You have been absolutely fabulous
52:02And it has been a wonderful time of year with you
52:05But there can only be one winner
52:06So
52:08The winner
52:09Of the Sewing Bee Christmas Special 2025
52:12Is
52:13And Tom
52:20But all of you
52:24Absolutely brilliant
52:26I'm going to kiss you
52:31Oh
52:32Oh
52:32Oh
52:33Oh
52:33Stop shot it out
52:34Let's
52:35Congratulations
52:36Thank you very much
52:37Wonderful
52:37Well done
52:38Thank you so much
52:39I've won
52:40And I never win
52:42And I'm absolutely delighted to win
52:44This is the best thing ever
52:45This is the happiest day of my life
52:47You've no idea what this means to me
52:50Oh
52:51Merry Christmas
52:55This trophy is just gorgeous
52:57I love it
52:57I'm holding it up
52:58Don't ask me to put it down
52:59You want me to do that don't you
53:00Be normal
53:01Absolutely no chance
53:02Anton reached for the top of the champagne flute
53:05He didn't quite make it
53:07But what edged it was his ambition in that final made to measure
53:11He had the perfect day yesterday
53:13Thank you
53:14Thank you
53:15Anton is just incredible
53:20Attention to detail, flair, showmanship
53:23I'm thrilled for him
53:25The children are going to be absolutely over the moon
53:28Which makes it even more special
53:31I'm still holding this up by the way
53:32I don't know if you've noticed
53:34I want to go deeper into udders
53:37Because it came natural to me
53:39I knew what I was doing
53:40The very life like
53:43I've not finished with udders
53:44I'd like to make a full cow
53:48The last couple of days
53:50It's really got me in the mood for Christmas
53:53Such fun
53:55Being here
53:56Being with the other showers
53:57We were like a family
53:58And it's exactly
53:59What Christmas is all about
54:01All together
54:01All having fun
54:02And just having the best time ever
