37:50into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice this whole process of law school
37:57has taken a village it really started with van jones who recommended i do this program then it went into
38:04my attorneys jessica and aaron who really mentored me in reform work so it just means a lot to me that
38:13everyone that's been on this six-year journey with me is here kim has dedicated 18 hours a week 48 weeks
38:20a year for six straight years that's a total of 5 184 hours of legal study this month has been insane
38:30the only thing on my mind is taking the baby bar you are only allowed to take the baby bar a certain
38:36amount of times this was the last time i could ever take it all right guys i love you all but i'm
38:41kicking you out because i have to study i feel like a zombie i look like one too i haven't gotten out of

39:17and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others and still looking gorge

39:41i realized that i could make a difference it was really kind of hard to stop we need the
39:46faith leaders to get to the governor i talked to chat gpt and i asked them how many people has kim
39:52kardashian helped free anywhere from 500 to 70 000 and they are home free because of you

40:09is so involved in prison reform he's at risk of being executed this morning a death row inmate

40:20intervenes this is a life or death situation the system is broken the governor commuted a sentence
40:26oh my god are you serious like last possible freaking minute no one's ever really respected you know
40:35a reality star and i've always had to like break through this stigma and like i want to prove this
40:40to myself that i can do it and ultimately a huge like you to everybody too that thought that i can't grow
40:50or move beyond where i was for nearly three years kim worked to help get me free kim i want to say you

41:04entire family's life who got completely ripped apart they should have been executed they don't have to

41:32months behind bars her belief in me and her dedication to justice helped bring me home your mother is
41:40literally in history books now as a person that championed my case and humanized it you gave me

41:57and she's a super advocate and soon to be a super attorney hearing these speeches and taking it all in
42:04and understanding how supported i feel by so many people that really helped me get to this place really
42:12is giving me the fuel that i'll need to go into the bar if a second chance ever does come that i'm
42:17well prepared that i know today that i'll never harm another individual again i i really hope you get
42:24that second chance because you are worthy of that seven years ago when you're working on criminal justice
42:29you are not embraced by anybody it's a lonely fight you get the smallest grants your phone call

45:52initially they had me sitting next to kim allison is the one who was doing the seating and was like

46:11i'm at the end of the table next to our attorney no offense to the attorney but like i don't know
46:17the attorney i've met her once that was enough for you i have to i'm breastfeeding if i was sitting

48:16dressed doing everything it took me i think an hour and a half to drive to kim's graduation
48:25stayed there for an hour and then an hour to drive home that's a lot for me for my day to be away from
48:31my baby that i'm breastfeeding the fact that i got up and got dressed and put on an outfit and made an
48:37effort and one third to support kim that should be enough she's fine she's fine he's gonna be zero
48:43to three yeah zero to three so then i'm in this equation to my kids two and a half so you should
48:49get your ass home i don't need to shouldn't you i'll drop you off we're all very selfish guys

49:55distant lately since she got married which is totally fine and there's no judgment in that but
50:00to judge when you're not even around to see i think is why we have such an issue with it
50:05i'm so proud of you your dad would have been really proud of you thank you i'm usually the type
50:12of person where i don't want to celebrate until we get past the finish line and i pass the bar but i
50:18did graduate i had to take the real bar twice and i went to yale law school it is very very hard

50:30this move it out of my minority report board and on to pull up the next thing and that next thing is
50:39bar prep i'm so proud of my sister kim she's stuck it out from start to finish
50:45and that's more than what most people can say
50:58i think that the legacy that she is carrying on in her dad's name is so important to her and so
51:06important to the family she's doing this for herself but she's also doing this for her dad
51:11and it doesn't hurt that we have a lawyer in the family i mean we can always use a lawyer
51:22it feels so good that like that chapter is done for the rest of my life six years
51:28but we did it we did it never give up guys every time i take a test and i don't know well
