00:00Now to one you might remember, the miraculous rescue of Chili the Chihuahua Mix. Chili was

00:06out for a walk in New York City with his dog mom and this was one night over the summer and he

00:10somehow managed to wiggle out of his harness. This little guy bolted into traffic, got clipped by a

00:17car which in turn made him bolt even faster. Chili's mom was apoplectic over this and she

00:23scoured the streets for days. A week went by and it seemed Chili's fate was pretty much sealed.

00:30But then on day 10, a group of kayakers spotted the poor puppy paddling for his life in the Hudson

00:36River. He was covered in oil and malnourished but otherwise okay and the kayakers managed to get

00:43him safely out of the water.
