00:00:38because i tend to be pretty moderate oh shit i totally forgot about this it's christmas
00:00:44christmas so you get the little red and green chess christmas eve when i'm recording so
00:00:51um gotta eat a ton of this rotten flesh to get the job done uh anyways yeah so pluribus is a show
00:00:59on apple tv and apple tends to be a little bit far left of center like i'm all for inclusion and
00:01:05whatnot we need it it's required don't get me wrong but um they just they push it a little too hard
00:01:11you know i'm saying like every single show that has white people in it has to have uh you know
00:01:18straight white people has to have minorities and uh a heavy female cast and you know nothing there's
00:01:25anything wrong with that at all it's not it's just i don't feel like it should be mandated by corporate
00:01:31it just feels very inauthentic it doesn't feel organic at all so uh anyway i might just tell you a
00:01:43little bit about it while i'm mining instead of skipping through that but if you want to
00:01:47skip past this uh discussion feel free to um anyways so pluribus is a fictional show of course
00:01:56it's about um a character carol rhea seahorn i think is how you say her name anyways she's uh kim
00:02:06wexler from better call saw the uh breaking bad universe and this is indeed made by vince gilligan
00:02:12um but the premise of the show is rather sci-fi rather than you know your standard fair drama
00:02:17um not that there's anything standard about vince gilligan he's one of the better
00:02:21uh show creators directors whatever you want to call it in the business um one of my favorite at least
00:02:28uh so anyways so one day humanity receives a signal from an intelligent species alien intelligence
00:02:36about 600 light years away and once they decode it they discover that the signal is actually a dna
00:02:45sequence and uh so you know being curious about what it is they uh create the dna sequence once they
00:02:53got it uh decoded and everything they create it with lab rats and um of course you know one of the rats
00:03:01ends up biting somebody but instead of being like a zombie rage virus the virus actually basically takes
00:03:10control of the individual and the individual ceases to become an individual they join this hive mind
00:03:17collective and their first objective is to um basically infect everybody they can so they start
00:03:27creating more and more of the virus putting it on everything that could possibly come into contact
00:03:32with other people they start uh mailing it all over the world to spread further and of course at these
00:03:39new locations there's infected people doing the same thing so in a very short order every single
00:03:44person in the world is uh is infected and you're i know you're asking yourself how is that possible
00:03:51well it's possible because every single human becomes networked so they know you know if you've got a
00:03:59reclusive uncle that lives up in the woods he's got to have some living family so somebody knows about his
00:04:04existence and relatively where he is so you can send literally any human being and they have the entire
00:04:13wealth of human knowledge at their disposal they have every memory every piece of knowledge and uh
00:04:21if for some reason there's not a human being on earth that doesn't know something they can
00:04:25command that human or any human to look it up if it's you know stored anywhere so um it's quite it's
00:04:33quite a terrifying thought actually that's kind of the horror aspect of the show um carol and i think
00:04:4113 others or 12 others i think there's 13 total so maybe it's it's 12 others are immune to this
00:04:47conversion and the alien intelligence is aware of it of course and they are working hard to adapt the
00:04:54virus to bring them into the collective so that's the basic premise of the show once i need to mine
00:05:01some more cobble i'll go into greater detail it's a pretty cool show though i highly recommend it
00:05:06it's not perfect no show is but like i said highly recommend it all right so first things first

00:05:22we've got to get some kind of um bed action going on we just do so we got some dirt i mean apples i don't
00:05:35know how i confuse it with dirt got tons of oak saplings so really i've got enough to turn into
00:05:42uh some bone meal but i've even got bone meal and bones for that so just need things to grow
00:05:50you know what while i'm waiting i will expand this platform a little more okay make sure i'm crouching

00:26:34you start to discover the, uh, the rules of the game, so to speak.

00:26:39And she discovers that, uh, they, they, they really can't deny you anything.
00:26:45They, they try to discourage, uh, certain things.
00:26:48Like, at one point, um, she asks for a hand grenade, just like as a joke.
00:26:52But they give her one, and she almost kills somebody because she just assumes that they
00:26:58would never give her a hand grenade, like a real hand grenade.
00:27:01But they did.
00:27:02They're, they're trying their best to make her happy.
00:27:05But the terrible thing is, and a lot of the humans, there's, like I said, there's 13 humans,
00:27:09uh, that are immune to it.
00:27:10So a lot of them are just going with it.
00:27:13Especially this one guy.
00:27:14He's just like, all these women sleep with him whenever he wants.
00:27:17Um, he just, he feels like royalty and he doesn't care, um, if they're going to convert
