00:00So many things have happened as we have progressed down the fab lane.
00:13I'm only going to be in Bali for two weeks, and I'm going to Vietnam.
00:15Aoki says she's leaving, and I hate it.
00:18I got a GPS tracker so that you know where my backpack always is.
00:21I don't really care as much about the backpack as I care about your body.
00:25I want my kids to have something other than modeling.
00:28Well, Mom, you know that I've been doing boulangeries.
00:30My mom told me to get a job, and so this is my job.
00:33Did I miss anything? That's kind of it in a nutshell.
00:36We are back in the fab lane.
00:45Grandma.
00:46Where are you going?
00:47Skiesel.
00:48Okay.
00:48I love you, Mom.
00:49I love you. Bye. Have fun.
00:51We're going to Skiesel on a Sunday night.
00:52My bedtime was eight on a Sunday night until I was 13.
00:56Oh, I didn't even realize it was 13.
00:57Until I was 13. His bedtime was nine minutes.
00:59Worry about for yourself, Kenzo.
01:01No, I'm serious.
01:02What?
01:03You spend entirely too much money.
01:06What are all these charges?
01:08Well, I'm getting food.
01:10That's it.
01:11My kids are like the broke besties.
01:12I say that, and I mean that.
01:13That's what kids are.
01:14Mom, can you get me these sunglasses in brown?
01:16No.
01:17I'm going to order them.
01:18I was just wondering, you know, if I could have, like, a motor vehicle.
01:21What kind of car, Kenzo?
01:22A BMW.
01:24I want a pair of all black trash cars.
01:29Okay, well, you're going to have to get your butt off my car.
01:31That's all I know.
01:32Like, I told you, like, I want you to help me make money.
01:35Ooh, what's happening, Kenzo?
01:37I want to model.
01:38I'm trying to push Ming and Aoki to do something besides modeling, and now Kenzo wants to model.
01:44You got modeling for me?
01:46Why?
01:47I want to make my own money.
01:49He's 15.
01:50I'm not sure how I feel about it.
01:52First of all, you have to show up, you have to take pictures, long hours on set.
01:57How are you going to do all that and go to school and play basketball?
02:00I'll figure out the time.
02:05I was your age when I was modeling.
02:07Even younger than you, definitely.
02:09But it was scary, like...
02:10I'm not scared.
02:10What am I scared of?
02:11Predators.
02:12No, I'm good.
02:13He's my baby, and he's a minor.
02:15But I do worry, obviously, that's a little predatorial, the business.
02:19Ming and Aoki grew up, and they modeled for me, but they didn't really go off into the world
02:23and model for someone else until they were older.
02:26Okay, so you want to model?
02:27Yeah, I want to model.
02:32Okay.
02:33Okay, so then, let me make my money?
02:34Actually, my friends have this sportswear line called E, so it could be a good first
02:41gig for you.
02:42All right, then.
02:44Oh.
02:44As much as I don't like it, I support my kids.
02:48I'm going to be with you.
02:50Okay.
02:50You know how to pose?
02:53I'll figure it out.
02:54I mean, you're my mom.
03:07Hello.
03:07Hi.
03:08Hi.
03:08Welcome to Gentle Giant Studios.
03:10Hi, I'm Aoki.
03:11Nice to meet you.
03:11We're going right in here.
03:12I appreciate that mom wants us to be finding our passion outside of modeling.
03:19Modeling won't always be there forever.
03:21You guys have to always think of something else.
03:23For me, it was very fat.
03:25For you, it's boulangerie.
03:26Ming's dinner was amazing.
03:28Oh.
03:29Are you proud of me?
03:30Please don't cry.
03:31Oh my God, you're going to cry.
03:32I did it, you guys.
03:33So, I would definitely feel that there's pressure being placed on me.
03:37Thank you so much.
03:39How are you?
03:39I'm doing great.
03:41I hear we have a really cool project to talk about.
03:43Yes, I hope so.
03:45I have an idea for a business that blends technology and beauty.
03:50I'm 3D printing a few different beauty tools and things.
03:54So, I'm excited to be here at a 3D printing lab and get kind of the in-person mechanical
03:59stuff figured out.
04:01So, what do you plan to do with this?
04:02I have a lot of hair and I got a lot of girls on my social media asking where I buy my hair
04:07tools.
04:07I wanted to make one that I felt really good about, that I could share with people, that
04:11could be made to order, sustainable.
04:13So, I have like different mock-ups and maybe you can tell me what's possible with different
04:19materials.
04:20When I was in Bali, I was really struggling to describe the design to people on email.
04:25The artwork is based on my best hair day.
04:27It's great, yeah.
04:28Now that I'm back, I'm excited to see if we can produce it.
04:31So, it's a hair comb, but the mechanics look like this.
04:35Okay.
04:35The body, upper body, hair, head would be one part.
04:38The teeth of the comb would be another part.
04:40And it's a swivel hen.
04:42Yes.
04:42And so, it has a little stop click into place.
04:44Got it.
04:45My design is an all-in-one beauty tool.
04:48It's your lifting comb for your hair.
04:50It's a mirror.
04:52It's a weapon.
04:53I mean, I'm kidding.
04:54I thought about adding a keychain hole so it can like hang off your purse.
04:58Okay.
04:58Because it's like meant to be pretty and kind of like a art piece and well as a hair tool.
05:02A keychain function.
05:03It's very informed by my mom.
05:05She already has little things hanging on her purse.
05:07She's a friend setter, so I'm excited.
05:09All of this concept artwork is great.
05:11This is exactly what we need to get started.
05:14I'm also a model, so it's supposed to like look like me, kind of.
05:17Makes sense.
05:17We also do 3D scanning for a lot of major motion pictures, video games, you name it.
05:22We were going to offer to have you get scanned and then we can use that as some 3D reference
05:27while we're creating the prototype.
05:29That would be really cool.
05:29Let's do that.
05:30That sounds amazing.
05:31Let's go.
05:32I always like to bring my nerdy side with me to my job.
05:37Jeez, wow.
05:38All my friends call me gadget girl because I find stuff like this fascinating and interesting.
05:42Never been scanned?
05:43No.
05:44I've been photographed a ton, but I haven't had it turned into a scan.
05:47Oh, I'm like even doing a 3D model.
05:49I want my comb to be cute.
05:51And like what's cuter than me?
05:52Right?
05:54Step forward just 2 inches.
05:56Good.
05:56Yeah, that's perfect.
05:57Now looking straight forward.
05:58Scanning now in 3, 2, 1.
06:04Wow, that was fast.
06:05I thought it would start spinning like a video game.
06:07Like...
06:07I love this place.
06:10I always wanted to work on the creative side of business.
06:13So I'm excited to show my mom.
06:15We'll be able to use that scan data of you as reference.
06:19No problem if my hair is a little longer.
06:21Eyelashes a little longer.
06:22We could definitely, we could tweak it.
06:23Curve a little more curving.
06:25Whatever you want to do.
06:26Amazing.
06:26We'll be in touch.
06:27I'll leave all the designs here and we'll talk.
06:30Yeah.
06:30Good.
06:32Coming up.
06:33Did you dunk?
06:34No.
06:34We need that shot.
06:35We need that shot.
06:39So yes, I have a problem.
06:50My name is Kimora and I am a hoarder.
06:53But a luxury hoarder.
06:55How many bags do I own?
06:57Maybe like a hundred?
07:01No, it's probably hundreds.
07:03I was trying to be modest.
07:04With TV, it's probably hundreds!
07:06I have such good bags.
07:09I have vintage bags.
07:11I have bags I don't need to make anymore.
07:12I have bags that they've started to make again.
07:14That's how good they are.
07:16And it's all organized by color, by style, by designer.
07:21I have a good archive.
07:23My girls will inherit a lot, but not yet.
07:26Hi, Mom.
07:27Hi, baby.
07:28I'm going out tonight and I really want to borrow a bag.
07:30No.
07:30Please.
07:31I always just take something from over here.
07:33This works.
07:33This is a really cute kind of a casual bag,
07:36but you could use it as an evening.
07:37These are evening bags, too.
07:38I got this when you were a little bitty, bitty baby.
07:40At the time, we called this a bar bag.
07:42No one wanted this size, and now it's all the rage.
07:45No one wanted these little bags.
07:46Isn't that crazy?
07:47Well, I'm so glad that you didn't listen,
07:48because now I have a million.
07:50Ming loves to, like, shop in my closet.
07:52She takes my bag.
07:53She takes things like earrings, rings.
07:55Like, where is the...
07:56I don't wear rings.
07:57She'll always say, like, that wasn't yours.
07:58I would never gaslighting.
08:01Oh, my God, thank you for telling me.
08:03Oh, these are evening bags.
08:05I was looking for something loud and exotic.
08:07Actually, this is funny.
08:09I have the matching swimsuit to it.
08:10That's my swimsuit.
08:11Yeah, I took it.
08:12Actually, I really will take it.
08:14No, I want my swimsuit.
08:15It would be amazing.
08:16No, I want to keep it together.
08:17Exactly, I will in my room.
08:19It doesn't really bother me,
08:20but I need something from her.
08:23Do you want to study the circulatory system?
08:24I cleared this off so I can put topics here
08:26that I need to talk to you guys about.
08:28Education, that's just a really big deal to me.
08:30I'm not doing anything about those books.
08:32Absolutely get away from me.
08:34After all the years of modeling,
08:36I've graduated college with a business degree,
08:38and so I want that for my kids.
08:41MCAT, doctor, everything you need to know.
08:44I'm pretty sure I specifically already said
08:45that I'm not studying for either of those.
08:46Okay, do you want to just read it?
08:49My mom really wants me to get my master's
08:51and then my PhD.
08:51I need somebody to go to business school
08:53and somebody to do law school.
08:54When are we talking here?
08:56Year two, three?
08:57We're not.
08:57I'm not doing it.
08:58Then you're not going to get your inheritance.
09:00Their inheritance is on the line.
09:02Absolutely, yeah.
09:03That's insane.
09:04If mama ain't happy,
09:06nobody's happy.
09:06Ain't nobody happy.
09:09Mom.
09:09Okay, the kid version.
09:10I have a hard time reading Instagram captions.
09:12You want to look at the picture book?
09:13No.
09:13All right, I just offered.
09:14I don't think I would survive getting a master's degree.
09:16I have a short attention span.
09:18I think for me,
09:19the fact that I'm starting a brand,
09:21I'm hoping she'll see it as the same kind of idea.
09:23And also doctor school.
09:25What is that called?
09:26Medical school.
09:26Medical school.
09:28That's out of the question.
09:29If you took the exam,
09:31you would be able to afford more bags of your own.
09:34Oh wait, I'll get you a new one.
09:36No.
09:36Check out Kenzo Leazy.
09:46Because this is like his first official photo shoot.
09:48He's so handsome and tall.
09:50He got that from his mom.
09:51Oh, shoot.
09:52This is like Kenzo's first real job
09:55outside of modeling with the family.
09:58It's for Eve,
09:59and it's a new sportswear line.
10:02It's very upscale.
10:03The owners of Eve are actually my friends.
10:06Hi, how are you?
10:08I used to set it up
10:09because it's a good first gig for Kenzo,
10:11and it's a good launch for them as well.
10:13You see this photo?
10:14Mm-hmm.
10:14Which one?
10:16Kenzo, don't worry.
10:17I'm here, I'm here.
10:18He's a professional.
10:19Mm-hmm.
10:20Kenzo, I'm here to save you.
10:21Do you need me?
10:21I'm good.
10:23Did you dunk?
10:24No.
10:24You should dunk.
10:25Not in these.
10:26Why?
10:27We need that shot.
10:28Can you fake it?
10:29You think LeBron would be like,
10:30oh, my shoes don't fit properly?
10:32He wouldn't.
10:32He wouldn't try to break his ankle.
10:33He would do it.
10:34Him out of all people would say no,
10:35not in these.
10:35Okay, what are we doing?
10:37Move on to the next one up.
10:38All right, you got this.
10:41That's perfect.
10:42One piece of meat is a touch.
10:44That's it.
10:44Well, look it up.
10:45Kenzo, you look so good.
10:47Do you like those glasses?
10:48Yeah, I like it.
10:49I like them without it.
10:53I'm going to look out in this direction.
10:54Can we have some lotion for the small child?
10:57We have to gloss it up in post-production.
10:59Gloss on the legs.
11:00Oh, I've had lotion.
11:01It just wore off.
11:02It's just not there.
11:03Bring that ball back up.
11:08Do you have this hoodie at home?
11:10Do you want to put the hood up and make it moody?
11:12Is that what you boys do?
11:14I'll try it in a second.
11:16Hello?
11:16Do you mind if I just take a snap of your picture?
11:21Just a little snap.
11:22Just a little snap of my baby.
11:24You're so cute, Kenzo.
11:27Cool, I think we got this.
11:28We're good.
11:28Yeah, I think we got it.
11:28Okay.
11:29I was like, we got this too.
11:31Don't give me that ball.
11:32I'm so proud of Kenzo.
11:35I'm so proud to see him live out one of his goals, but I do feel like it's like a third
11:39job for him.
11:40Basketball is the second job, and school is the first job.
11:45He's a model.
11:46We're going to have to get him a team.
11:47He needs some assistance.
11:49Is that you?
11:50Yeah, I guess so.
11:51So Ming had her dinner for a boulangerie.
11:55Boulangerie?
11:55Perfect.
11:56She was so fancy and cute, so you're going to have to put your order in.
11:59Oh, wait.
12:00Don't I just get one delivered?
12:01I don't know.
12:01She's a little stingy with her products.
12:05That's okay.
12:05She get it from her mama.
12:07I'm not stingy with my product.
12:09Girl.
12:11How about a Yoki?
12:14What is she doing?
12:15We're not exactly sure.
12:16We notice like driverless cars and excursions.
12:21I'm in a self-driving car for the first time.
12:23Is this legal?
12:25I feel like I'm in the haunted mansion.
12:28Okay.
12:29Oh.
12:30I've been seeing motions, but I haven't really seen evidence.
12:33Like, do something.
12:34Design something.
12:36Show the world your talents, ma'am.
12:37Have you asked for evidence?
12:39No, ma'am.
12:40No, I have not.
12:41Okay, so that's the next step.
12:42I told the kids they have to get a secondary degree or an advanced degree to get their inheritance.
12:47My mom wants me to go back and get my MBA, but I don't want to get an MBA.
12:49She was like, you can either go and get your inheritance early, or you can not go and get no inheritance.
12:56Excuse me?
12:57No way.
12:58You cannot survive poverty.
13:00I'm so sorry.
13:01So if something happens to me, you're in charge, and you cannot give them any money until they complete a higher education degree.
13:10Law, medicine, business.
13:13Oh, that's a good idea.
13:16That's what everybody says.
13:17It is.
13:17Back to college we go.
13:20Was that a dunk?
13:21Yes.
13:22It's looking good.
13:23I'm so handsome.
13:26Hey, baby, I was born ready.
13:29Got a jetty on my way.
13:32Pose, pose.
13:34Photo shoot.
13:34Okay, but can we just sit up and be a normal person?
13:36Oh, perfect.
13:40Actually, that is really cool.
13:43What are you, on the wall or something?
13:45I have been a time or two.
13:48That's cute.
13:54Hi, Mommy.
13:55Hi, honey.
13:55What are you doing?
13:57I came because I wanted to show you something.
14:03Great.
14:03What?
14:03I want to see.
14:04I got the SI issue that I'm in this year.
14:07Oh, my goodness.
14:08I'm really excited to show this to my mom because Sports Illustrated, that's a huge honor.
14:12They pick from a large pool of girls.
14:14Wow, Mimi, you look good.
14:16Doing Sports Illustrated gives me more credibility.
14:19I think she's going to be really proud of me when she sees it.
14:21You look shapely.
14:23I'm proud of you.
14:23What the heck?
14:25I think there's another one.
14:26There it is.
14:27Do you love it?
14:28I do, yeah.
14:29I had a really good time doing it.
14:30Do you know what's so crazy is I booked Sports Illustrated and I was pregnant with you and
14:36I had to tell them and they chose not to go forward.
14:40Yeah.
14:40Yeah, what I didn't do, you did.
14:42You were in there.
14:43I didn't do it.
14:44You came out and you did.
14:45I think that's like such a thing.
14:48Sometimes I worry.
14:49Ming is very spoiled.
14:51I didn't want to be here with you guys.
14:53I have to be here with you guys.
14:54Ming, come on.
14:55It's one picture.
14:56Get the hell up out of your chair.
14:58Let's go.
14:59But Sports Illustrated, that's a big deal.
15:02She is a little bit more responsible and a little bit more mature than I thought.
15:08Job well done.
15:10Can I have this?
15:10Yes.
15:11I brought this for you.
15:12Okay.
15:12I've been having a really good time, but I'm having like a little bit of a hard time
15:16too.
15:17Why?
15:17The agency that I'm with, I think I'm leaving.
15:21Is the relationship?
15:23It's just not great.
15:24Beyond repair?
15:25Yes.
15:25I don't feel like it's serving me.
15:28I feel like I'm being taken for granted.
15:29So what are we doing?
15:30I just wanted to know like if you've ever gone through anything like this in your career.
15:33Then absolutely I've had that happen.
15:35And you know, I've had to try to fight to get out.
15:37Definitely stand your ground.
15:39Don't continue on in that way.
15:40Always speak up.
15:41I don't know.
15:41I think that maybe I need help.
15:43What do we need to do?
15:44I'm really lucky.
15:45My mom, she's already done this job.
15:46So she's always going to be the one person that's going to look out for me.
15:49Know that she will help me.
15:51I think I might need a little bit of legal help.
15:53You see, you could have been a lawyer.
15:55I can't be a lawyer.
15:57You could go be a lawyer now, so we don't have to do this.
15:59Like I said, I want her to go to law school, business school.
16:02I can't help forever.
16:04Lord only knows.
16:06I can't stand when people and agents try to take advantage of you or get you into a contract.
16:11They work for you, not the other way around.
16:13I understand there will be a time where I have to look out for myself.
16:16I just don't think law school is for me.
16:18What do we need to do?
16:19Fight?
16:20Yeah.
16:20Oh, okay.
16:21I'm prepared.
16:22But my mom could be right.
16:23So maybe I should get a business degree so that I'm not lost.
16:26It could be very helpful in life and how seriously people will take you, especially as a woman.
16:31I'll try to talk to them.
16:32We'll try to be nice.
16:33We'll try to be polite.
16:34But if that doesn't work, the gloves are off.
16:36Don't you worry about a thing, honey.
16:38Do I just purchase the agency?
16:40I would love that.
16:41We can try that.
16:43Wait, I have to put this down.
17:02I'm not sure if these are like...
17:04They're my friends.
17:04Okay.
17:05Which one is that?
17:06Machi-Chi?
17:07Girl, this is a skull panda.
17:09I'm sorry.
17:10I'm Machi-Chi is a little monkey.
17:11This is so strange.
17:13I'm very nervous to show my mom my designs.
17:16Not all my projects I feel like she always gets.
17:21I built a neural network the other day, too.
17:23Huh?
17:24A neural network.
17:25What's a neural?
17:27It's like an artificial intelligence.
17:29It's a brain.
17:30Okay.
17:32Well, I know this is my mom, but, like, why is this hard?
17:44Here, um, take a picture.
17:46Wait, smile.
17:47What the heck?
17:48Okay.
17:49I'm very nervous to show my mom my design.
17:52You look cute.
17:53I know this is my mom, but, like, why is this hard?
17:58Okay.
17:59Well.
18:00Hi.
18:00How's it going?
18:01Hi.
18:01How are you?
18:01Good.
18:02Doing good.
18:02Do you want to get anything started?
18:04I would like a Coke Zero first.
18:06We just have Diet Coke right now.
18:07Is that okay?
18:09Sure.
18:09Okay.
18:10Are they actually different?
18:12Well, I live on Coke Zero.
18:14What is your obsession with Coke Zero?
18:16Oh.
18:17That's like asking somebody about their addiction.
18:20Could I just have two Coke Zeros?
18:22Can I please have a Coke Zero?
18:24Wait a minute.
18:25Where's my Coke Zero?
18:26I think I got that from Karl Aggerfeld.
18:28He always had a Diet Coke around.
18:30It's my addiction.
18:31If you guys want to know how to tame the dragon, it's Coke Zero.
18:37I'm so excited.
18:39Okay.
18:39So tell me about your polka-dotted folder.
18:41So when I was in Bali, I was filing a patent for this cool hair tool.
18:46And now that I'm home, I got a bunch of digital renderings done.
18:49Do you know, like, an Afro pic that goes in your hair, like a lifting cone?
18:52Yeah, okay.
18:52Or whatever you can hold it back.
18:53But then I was like, what if it folded?
18:56Oh.
18:57And then, also, what if it looks like me?
18:59And then what if it was also a keychain?
19:01Oh, what?
19:01So it turns into, like, a little art piece.
19:03It can go in your purse and go in your clutch because it'll fold closed.
19:06But she can't fold.
19:07Yeah, she can.
19:08So what you see there is, like, a hidden hinge.
19:10And I'm going to 3D print that because you can now 3D print metal.
19:12Very excited.
19:13The hinge is behind here.
19:14Teeth go up and behind.
19:16These are all your hair options and whatever.
19:18This is how the hinge works.
19:19It's made out of castor beans, which is great.
19:21I want it to be sustainable.
19:22And then right here is a little keychain.
19:24I printed a pin hinge, so it's, like, a 180 swivel.
19:28It was originally a butterfly swivel.
19:29And then I decided to make it go that way.
19:31Wait, you present so fast.
19:32Is this a genius thing?
19:33I just want to make sure you don't miss it either.
19:35Okay, hold on.
19:42I love this.
19:45So I like this one, but that hair I like better.
19:48Okay, I'll actually note that because they're actually a little bit similar.
19:50Yoki is so smart and has such an interesting outlook on things.
19:55So she, of course, would make a sustainable, natural hair pick.
19:58And she did it on her own.
19:59I'm so proud of her.
20:00Does it look like me?
20:01What's it supposed to look like?
20:02Yeah, it looks like you.
20:05It does.
20:07It's really nice to have her like this idea because I was worried she'd be like,
20:11oh, one of your random nerdy things, that's nice.
20:14So it's nice to show her how this skill I'm into is going to help me bring my creative visions to the world.
20:20I'm very proud of you.
20:22Growing up, my mom was more likely to say that she's proud of me to someone else or, like, in a publication or in an interview.
20:28So it's nice to hear it directly to my face.
20:30So you can, like, remotely do it from wherever you want?
20:32Yeah, I can do it from wherever, including from Bali, which is great.
20:35New York, LA, Paris.
20:35Okay, I love it that you're traveling the world.
20:37You love that I'm traveling the world?
20:38Say that again.
20:39Yeah, I miss you.
20:39For posterity.
20:40I love it that you're traveling the world, but I miss you.
20:44I miss you, too, so much.
20:45I'm very proud of both of my girls.
20:48I want them to be independent and go back to school.
20:51But for now, with their businesses, that's enough for me.
20:55That's enough.
20:56Could I have another Coke Zero, please?
20:58On the next Kimora back in the Fab Lane.
21:00Right.
21:01Okay, what is that?
21:02How does that go?
21:03People might try to take my labubu.
21:05Oh, okay.
21:06Oh, okay.
21:07Another year, I'm 162, like a vampire.
21:11I exist on the blood of heartless men.
21:13Happy birthday to you.
21:17Can you tell me how it feels to turn 50?
21:22No.
21:23I am leaving soon.
21:25Are you mad at me?
