Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has released a Christmas message in which he focuses on peace, charity and goodwill to all.In the short video, Sir Keir says his priority is to help those who struggle with the cost of living. He also expresses his gratitude to NHS staff, armed forces, and volunteers.

00:00It's a time to celebrate the Christmas story and to cherish the Christian values that define it.
00:07Peace, charity and goodwill to all. That is the promise of the season.
00:14And just as so many put their feet up, some truly special people will be pulling on their uniforms
00:22and heading out to work, our NHS staff, emergency services and the brave men and women of our armed forces.
00:32All playing their part, doing their bit to care for the nation and to keep us safe.
00:40Many volunteers will be out there as well, serving food, reaching out to help those lonely or in need.
00:47So, on behalf of the whole country, I want to say a big thank you.
00:55As a nation, we should raise a glass to you this Christmas.
