09:22there's not a person that you won't get along with it and there's not a person that you can't be alone with and still have the best time
09:29i have the most supportive team i could ever have you can't really ask for much more
09:34this was an amazing group of dancers and the chemistry with the band and we were all very aware of the magic that this tour was able to capture
09:44i'm gonna miss going on stage every night with this band that i've known for 15 years
09:50being able to be up there with this group of people spreading all this joy and positivity
09:56it is a joy fest and i'm here for it
09:59we're so proud to be here to be working with taylor to be working with each other
10:03we are in this together that's what she said to us on that first day just shaking hands and saying hi i'm taylor
10:09she is like a legend this tour this boss has like made us feel seen worthy and like treated with the utmost respect
10:18it's nice to have a friend
10:21oh
10:24oh
10:26oh
10:28oh
10:30oh
10:32oh
10:33oh
10:35oh
10:36oh
10:37oh
10:38oh
10:39oh
10:40I remember my first show and Taylor said to me, Jan, you're going to be the first one who's going to open. Just be ready for that.
11:10I'm waiting and all you can see, it's the doors going up. I'm like still confident, walking forward. And when I open and people were screaming and all you can see is just slides. It's like, I can't even describe it. I know that I was holding my tears the first time.
11:40I never felt this energy before. And it's weird to say, and I know that after every job when you're done, you're saying, oh, that was the one, that was the one. But I think this one is the one.
11:54Yeah.
11:56Okay.
12:02You guys, this is our last first show of a weekend. For me, this is our victory lap.
12:09Yeah.
12:09We did the hard shit, the scary things, the ups, the downs. We did all that. I couldn't be happier to get to play this last first night with you. It's probably the happiest I've ever been on a first night.
12:22Yeah.
12:22Because it's the last one.
12:26Oh God, here we go. One first thing, deep breath, everybody, because I know we're all feeling a little buzzy. So in.
12:32And out.
12:40Okay.
12:42I was, you know, thinking about change and we have a big one coming up, which is the end of this.
12:48But when I think about what change means, that's what eras are.
12:53Eras are evolutions and they are meant to come to an end in some ways, but this will always have been our eras era.
13:01I'm just so proud of you guys, and I can't believe that we've done it. It's just so amazing. I love you guys.
13:06Let's get down!
13:13Alright, so let's go out there and fuck shit up!
13:16Probably out, out, out, out, out, out, out, out, out!
13:19Oh!
13:44This tour will live on as probably the pinnacle,
13:48the foremost important thing that I've done.
13:51I get very depressed about pop culture's obsession
13:54with youth culture.
13:56And we designate extremely young people
14:00to be the ones who have to tell us where culture is going.
14:02And then the idea that an artist had, in my case,
14:06the privilege of developing to the point where you're
14:09in your 30s and you do know yourself a bit more,
14:12and then you were able to make the thing
14:14that they'll know you for.
14:16And I think there's something very special about that.
14:18Hey!
14:19Hey!
14:20Hey!
14:21Hey!
14:22Hey!
14:23Hey!
14:24Hey!
14:25This was a seismic, momentous period of time in my life,
14:30and in the lives of the performers and the crew members
14:33and anyone who this tour touched.
14:36We've arrived.
14:37All right.
14:38Oh, it's official.
14:39And it's never going to happen again this way.
14:42I think for most of us, this is bigger
14:50than we ever thought it would be.
14:52When I went through treatment and I was away from it,
14:56I would play the show all the time.
14:58I would watch it on TV, and I'd sing along
15:01and remember the good feels that I felt when I was there.
15:05It's more than just a job.
15:06It's more than just a job.
15:07It's more than just a show.
15:08It's what we are, and just the joy and the magic
15:10that happens in that space, it's just magical.
15:14I think it's just magical.
15:15I think it's just such a beautiful blessing
15:17that we all get to do, and yeah, I never wanted to end.
15:44You and Gracie are going to do another duet,
15:54because we just can't stop.
15:56Hi.
15:57How are you doing?
15:58I'm really good.
15:59Oh.
16:00That's just the way life goes.
16:05Just riding down our boat.
16:09Lay on the horn to prove that it haunts us.
16:13I love you, I'm sorry.
16:18Do you want to do your bridge again?
16:21Sure.
16:22Right?
16:23Sure.
16:24Will it be too much to...?
16:25I like doing the harmony on the bridge.
16:26Okay, perfect, okay.
16:27But that's just the way...
16:29And both on.
16:30How crazy is that?
16:31I never planned on you changing your life,
16:32but that's just the way life goes.
16:34That's what gave me the full chills.
16:37Joy riding down our road, lay on the horn
16:39to prove that it haunts me.
16:40I love you, I'm sorry, then you do the harmony.
16:42You were the best, but you were the worst.
16:45As sick as it sounds, I loved you first.
16:47I was a dick, it is what it is.
16:49I haven't to give the age-old curse me wrong again.
16:53I'll watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep.
17:02And I'll feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe.
17:10And I'll keep up with our old friends.
17:15Just can't ask them how you are.
17:19Yeah, just like...
17:20Hope it's nice where you are.
17:23And I'll leave that for you.
17:24I love you, I'm sorry.
17:26I'm in full body sweat, this is disgusting.
17:31I know, I know, I know, I know.
17:32I feel it's really...
17:33It's so disgusting under my shirt.
17:35I'm so excited.
17:36This is better than any of the ones that we've done.
17:38Yeah, yeah, this is...
17:39That's why our bodies are reacting this way.
17:41I know, it's a chemical reaction.
17:43They're completely just like...
17:45Oh God, okay.
17:46We saved the best for last, oh my God.
17:49I know it's gross to hug it at this point.
17:51No, it's good.
17:52I love you.
17:53It's gonna be so fun.
17:54The light and the joy that she has provided.
17:58There's just been nothing like this cultural phenomenon in a tour ever.
18:03It's like, changed people's lives.
18:09The people who came to these shows wanted to have a good experience
18:13and wanted others to have a good experience too.
18:16There's something very pure about that.
18:21Those fans, seeing them get dressed the way that they do,
18:25seeing them make the effort to commune with each other,
18:30to help each other.
18:32It is that sense of truly connecting with each other.
18:36I think that's the thing that compelled people
18:38to make such a big deal out of the Ares tour.
18:40Yes, it's a pretty frickin' cool show.
18:43But you know what else is really cool about it?
18:45Everybody who comes to it.
18:47Hearing the stories about the positivity rush that people felt.
18:51Talking about how they blacked out during the show
18:53and they just got this euphoric rush of joy that felt chemical.
18:58I specifically created this tour on a molecular level
19:03to make people feel that sense of escape.
19:06But to have it land like that, you're like, yes!
19:09I probably spend more time looking at the audience
19:13than I do looking at the show.
19:15It's really fulfilling.
19:16And her outreach and the fan base and community that she's grown,
19:20what more could you ask for in a career?
19:22Every person in that audience hopefully is being shaped positively in some way
19:34by something that they see or something that they hear
19:37or something that they feel during that three and a half hours.
19:40The 22 moment stems from a hat that I wore on the red tour.
19:47So I wanted to really bring back that moment of just kind of like
19:53have a moment with a fan where I actually like get close with them.
19:58What's so interesting about that moment every night is I never know what kid I'm going to meet.
20:15I've got people in the audience scouring the crowd for the first couple of eras
20:20trying to find a kid who knows every single word to the songs
20:23and having the time of their life at this show.
20:26Because that kid basically is like a representative of every kid in that crowd that night.
20:32It could be like a little kid that gets really shy
20:35when all of a sudden they're seeing 60,000 people for the first time.
20:38Or it could be there are kids that just like bloom under the bright lights
20:42and they're just like, oh my god, I'm a pop star now.
20:56It's always so wild to be like in this moment with this person that I've never met before, this little kid.
21:06And everything's going on around us and somehow we're able to just like have this moment be completely between us.
21:13We're just kind of like meeting each other and everyone else kind of disappears for a second.
21:22It just reminds me why I do it.
21:36The hat girl, the kid got the hat, really like shook my reality.
21:43Like I came up to her, I hug her and she goes, is this real fun?
21:48And she really was wondering.
21:50And I was like, and it just made me be like, actually, I don't know.
21:56Actually, I don't know.
21:59Do you know what I mean?
22:07And here we are.
22:09The last day of the tour.
22:11The heiress tour is coming to an end today.
22:17Let's see how many of you are going.
22:18Show them how.
22:20Oh wow.
22:21I hope you guys have an amazing time.
22:35If you're friends with a Swifty, please call them and check on them and make sure they're okay today.
22:40Because today is the last day of the heiress tour.
22:43And we are in mourning.
22:44We are in mourning.
22:50I'm not ready.
22:51I'm not ready.
22:52I can't believe the end is here.
22:55We are in mourning.
22:57We are in mourning.
22:59I have met so many amazing people and made so many new friends over this.
23:08Don't let anyone make you feel small or make you feel silly for being sad right now.
23:12You're not grieving the loss of some silly little pop star performance.
23:16You're grieving the loss of a big event that gave you joy and distraction and hope and camaraderie at a time where it feels like none of those things should be able to exist.
23:29Last day.
23:30Oh my god.
23:31I hope the fans know that this has been her giving them everything she had.
23:36Guess what day it is.
23:37Sunday.
23:38And she never stops writing music.
23:39So they have more to look forward to.
23:40But right now, I hope they honor that little bit of time.
23:41I hope the fans know that this has been her giving them everything she had.
23:43Guess what day it is.
23:44Sunday.
23:45And she never stops writing music.
23:46So they have more to look forward to.
23:47But right now, I hope they honor that little bit of time just for her.
23:52Happy last show.
23:53Happy last show.
23:54It's the last one.
23:55It's the last one.
23:56It's the last one.
23:57You got the came on.
23:59You got the came on.
24:00Yeah.
24:01Yeah.
24:02Yep.
24:03Yeah.
24:04I think that after this tour, we were like, at the same time she just showed her.
24:07I hope they honor that little bit of time just for her.
24:11Happy last show day.
24:12It's the last one. It's the last one.
24:16You got the game on? Yeah.
24:18I think that after this tour,
24:22it would be nice to grow back some of the things
24:25that I've had to cut out of my life.
24:27You just don't have any energy for anything that seems optional.
24:33Hey, Erica, guess what?
24:34Happy last show day!
24:35Yeah! You beat me to it!
24:39Happy last show day.
24:42Oh, my God. I cannot believe it.
24:45And so I'm interested in regaining some of that
24:48because I know I used to have hobbies
24:50and, like, a personality outside of this tour.
24:53I can't remember what they were.
24:55I'll let you know.
24:57Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
24:59Go for it.
25:00Please!
25:02Thank you, sir.
25:03I need them to keep running away with this.
25:05So this is your last day, but we're watching football.
25:08Did you ever think this was going to happen?
25:09I never thought that you and I would talk about sports in my life ever.
25:13I thought, I mean, it hadn't happened by the time I was 32.
25:16I just kind of waited.
25:17Get another touchdown.
25:19Get another touchdown.
25:21Ah, ah, ah, ah!
25:23Damn it!
25:23This is amazing.
25:27I know.
25:29Well, but you can keep that on.
25:31I can prioritize both things.
25:34Maybe I'm just a girl on a mission
25:39But I'm ready to fly
25:43I'm alone
25:46That's pass interference.
25:47Did they get a flag for that?
25:49Trust me, mine is better
25:50Get this verse down, please
25:52We need love
25:54But all we want is danger
25:56We team up
25:57Throw it!
25:58Touchdown!
26:01Touchdown!
26:01Yes!
26:02Oh, shit!
26:03If this goes my way
26:06The kind of day I'm about to have
26:09Yes, I remember this moment
26:15In the back of my mind
26:20The time we stood with our shaking hands
26:26The crowds in stands went wild
26:29You held your head like a hero
26:33On a history book page
26:39Was the end of a decade
26:43The start of an age
26:48Long live
26:53The walls we crashed through
26:56How the kingdom lights shine
26:58Just for me and you
27:00I was screaming
27:02Long live
27:03All the magic we made
27:06Bring on all the pretenders
27:09One day
27:11We will be remembered
27:14We will be remembered
27:14Have an idea?
27:22Instead of the end of a decade
27:23Say
27:23It was the end of an era
27:26What?
27:27Instead of the end of a decade
27:28Say it was the end of an era
27:30That's a great idea
27:33It was the end of a decade
27:35No, it was the end of an era
27:38Of LPM
27:39The start of an age
27:43The only thing that's left
27:49Is the manuscript
27:50One last souvenir
27:53From my trip to your shores
27:56Now and then
27:58I'll reread the manuscript
28:00But the story isn't mine
28:04Anymore
28:06Oh, that's a gorgeous way to finish it
28:09Right?
28:09Yeah
28:10So it goes
28:11Long live verse and chorus
28:13New Year's Day verse and chorus
28:15Manuscript bridge
28:17Into long live bridge
28:19Into the down verse of long live
28:21Into please don't ever
28:23Become a stranger whose laugh
28:25I could recognize anywhere
28:26And to hold on to the memories
28:28They will hold on to you
28:29Into long live chorus
28:31But slow down to halftime
28:33With the New Year's Day chords
28:35Underneath it
28:36Into the last verse of the manuscript
28:39Okay
28:40That's complicated
28:41Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
28:44Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
28:45Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
28:47Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
28:49Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake
28:50Shake it off
28:52Shake it off
28:53This tour has completely pushed the boundaries of excellence
29:13What's unique about it
29:16Is that it's not just one genre of movement or music
29:20It's a variety of things that allows me
29:24To showcase different sides of myself
29:27It's a reminder that we're multitudes
29:31We have all these aspects of our personalities
29:33That get to come out within the show
29:35And it helps people connect with it even more
29:39It's truly been the most special thing
29:45That I've been able to be a part of
29:46I've been preparing for the end of this
29:59For about six months
30:00Every single day I've known
30:01We're this much closer
30:02Like I've been very in the moment about
30:04Knowing how much closer we were getting to the end of it
30:07Wherever he winds up, he's dangerous
30:09I think the football game is like taking my mind off of any kind of like
30:13Nerves I have
30:14Use the mechanisms we have at our disposal at the time
30:21Don't do that
30:25And that's blitzing like you saw at the end of the ball game
30:27So there's no good answer on the other side of the ball game
30:30Moving in
30:31I've been holding my breath.
31:01For a year and eight months, just hoping that we'd be safe, we wouldn't be injured, no harm would come to the tour. For me, it's just overwhelming. Just feeling thankful.
31:20Okay, is it time for me to get my little outfit?
31:31Thank you, dear, darling.
31:40You sound good.
31:41Thank you. It's my show set.
31:43Taylor's impact is limitless. A lot of this I would have never imagined for myself. She has celebrated us and our moments in such big ways that her fan base knows us by name.
32:04That does not happen for dancers. Because you did that, the type of people that are showing up are of different sizes, are of different ages, are of different races, are of different background experiences.
32:18And can come to this show for three and a half hours and feel the same. You leave it different. You leave it better. You leave it warmer. You leave it more giving, more kind, more tolerant. That is the stuff of legend.
32:36It's not true. We'll be a few away from top five all the time. Four, two without a pick. But you see, it was Charger fans, you made the trick.
32:47So, on this time, on me, on the last time, make a look.
32:52I love you.
32:53Is it time?
32:55Yeah, it's time.
32:56Mom?
32:57Yeah.
32:58Mom, did I do this thing?
32:59No.
33:00Here you go.
33:01Love you.
33:02Have a good show.
33:03See ya.
33:04One last time.
33:09One last time.
33:34Holy shit.
33:35Holy shit.
33:36There we go.
33:37All right.
33:38Okay, you guys.
33:40I want to say that I'm constantly reminded of one of my favorite quotes, which is that
33:46everyone's jealous of what you've got.
33:49No one is jealous of what you had to do to get it.
33:53Everyone likes to talk about phenomenons like the heiress tour, almost as if it was pieces
34:00falling into place in some sort of destined accidental confluence of events that just
34:06happened.
34:07Right?
34:08When I'm thinking about the people that are in this circle, I don't think about it as pieces
34:14that fell into place.
34:15I think of each of you as like tectonic plates on the earth.
34:19And the heiress tour wasn't when all the pieces fell into place.
34:22That was just when every single one of us who had done so much work to where this tour
34:27was just when we all clicked together.
34:30We have traveled the entire world.
34:32We've gone through America twice.
34:34We have set every attendance record in every huge stadium.
34:38Wow.
34:39We have broken every single record you can break with this tour.
34:41The only thing left is to close the book.
34:45For one last time.
34:46Yeah.
34:47Yeah.
34:48I love you.
34:49I love you guys so much.
34:53All right.
34:54Let's go out there and fuck shit it out.
34:56Fuck it out.
34:57Fuck it out.
34:58Out.
34:59Out.

39:43They will hold on to you.
39:44Hold on to you
39:51The only thing that's left is the manuscript
39:57Souvenir from my trip to your
40:01Now and then I reread the manuscript
40:06But the story
40:14I'm hanging out for you
40:16And the writing basically
40:20What did I let you know?
40:22I'm hanging out for you
40:24And then I'll leave the manuscript
40:26I'll leave the manuscript
40:28The meaning of this manuscript
40:32I developed a manuscript
40:34That manuscript
40:36I'm working with my book
40:37I'm working with my book
40:39I'm working with my book
40:41I have very clear distinctions about being the leader of this show that's this mass exodus of
40:59emotional catharsis. What's interesting is like there's some joy in the show but there's also a
41:07lot of like snarling angry bitterness despondent heartbroken wistful theatrical magic and I think
41:18being able to feel those things and scream those lyrics there's something that brings you joy in
41:23doing that. People come to the show who have different lived experiences and have different
41:28beliefs and we can have these moments of connectivity. I think it's about passion and I think it's
41:34about the show being accepting of all kinds of passion that we feel throughout our human
41:39experience. There's something so unifying about that.
42:04I'm used to doing tours that are successful. I've never been a part of a phenomenon before.
42:47I love you, it's history, girl, did it, I love you so much
42:58I love you, I love you, it's been such a good day
43:12It's been such a good day
43:14We did it!
43:35Oh my god, we really all did it
43:40You have to just take life, you know, one era at a time, see what happens
43:47Honey, when I'm above the trees, I see this for what it is
43:56But now I'm right down in it, all the years I've given is just shit we're dividing up
44:04Showed you all of my hiding spots, I was dancing when the music stopped
44:11And in the disbelief I can't face reinvention
44:18I haven't met the new me yet
44:23There'll be happiness after you
44:31But there was happiness because of you
44:35Both of these things can be true
44:38There is happiness
44:40Past the blood and bruise
44:44Past the curses and cries
44:48Beyond the terror in the nightfall
44:52Haunted by the look in my eyes
44:55That would've loved you for a lifetime
44:57That would've loved you for a lifetime
44:58Leave it all behind
44:59And there is happiness
45:04There'll be happiness after me
45:07But there was happiness because of me
45:11Both of these things
45:13Both of these things I believe
45:15There is happiness
45:17In our history
45:21Across the great divide
45:25There is a glorious sunrise
45:29Dappled with the flickers of light
45:33From the dress I wore at midnight
45:35Leave it all behind
45:37Leave it all behind
45:39Oh, leave it all behind
45:41Leave it all behind
45:43Leave it all behind
45:45And there is happiness
45:47Love it all behind

47:17I bought a ticket, she's dancing in her garters and fishnets, 50 in the cast, zero missteps, looking back I guess it was kismet.
47:30I waited by the stage door packed in with the autographed hounds barking her name and glowing like the end of a cigarette while she came out.
47:40I said you're living my dream, and she said to me, hey, thank you for the lovely bouquet.
47:51You're sweeter than a bitch, but you don't know the life of a showgirl, babe.
47:57And you're never, ever gonna wait.
48:01The more you play, the more that you pay.
48:03You're softer than a kitten, so you don't know the life of a showgirl, babe.
48:09And you're never gonna wanna.
48:13She was a menace, the baby of the family in Lennox.
48:18Her father whored around like all men did.
48:22Her mother took pills and played tennis.
48:24So she waited by the stage door, asked the club promoter a ride.
48:30She said, I'd sell my soul to have a taste of a magnificent life that's all mine.
48:35But that's not what showgirls get.
48:38They leave us for dead.
48:42Hey, thank you for the lovely bouquet.
48:46You're sweeter than a bitch, but you don't know the life of a showgirl, babe.
48:52And you're never, ever gonna wait.
48:55The more you play, the more that you pay.
48:58You're softer than a kitten, so you don't know the life of a showgirl, babe.
49:04And you're never gonna wanna.
