04:05And also, on Friday, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Hill responded to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio describing his administration as a resounding political and moral failure.
04:17In a message on his Telegram account, the Foreign Minister stated that after 14 years as Senator and one year at the helm of the State Department, Rubio has achieved no diplomatic success.
04:28He also pointed out that Rubio has specialized in promoting coups, interventions and wars instead of seeking diplomatic solutions.
04:37The head of Venezuelan Diplomacy also denounced that the attacks and disinformation campaigns against Venezuela are part of a US economic strategy aimed at taking over his country's resources.
04:49He reiterated his rejection of the use of force for extractive purposes and military intervention to exploit the region's energy resources.
05:04And the United Nations Security Council announced an emergency session for December 23 to address the crisis in Venezuela stemming from continued aggression by the United States.
05:15The crux of the complaint is the recent blockade of oil tankers entering and leaving Venezuela, a measure that the Bolivarian government considers a direct violation of its sovereignty and political autonomy.
05:27Faced with this scenario, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres made an urgent call for calm.
05:35He urges all parties to respect international law and the United Nations Charter to avoid an escalation of tension and protect peace in the region.
05:45The Bolivarian nation has not reported any violation of international law in this context caused by the government of President Donald Trump.
05:54In this context, the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres called on the United States to respect the sovereignty of the Caribbean countries, the territorial waters near Venezuela and international law.

06:20And for almost four months, the United States has maintained a significant military presence in the Caribbean, much of its off Venezuela's coast, under the excuse of the fight against drug trafficking, which the President of the United States himself dismissed when he declared that the objective was to obtain all of Venezuela's natural resources.
06:41At the end of his statement, Guterres emphasized the efforts made by the United Nations to demand a de-escalation of the U.S. siege on the South American nation and a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
07:00And in this context, amid ongoing military threats from the United States government against Venezuela,
07:05Brazilian President Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva warned of the potential consequences of a foreign intervention would bring to the Latin American region.
07:14Building a prosperous and peaceful South America is the only doctrine that suits us.
07:23Here, they argue that advancing integration means renouncing sovereignty, but the real threats to our sovereignty are not of a different nature.
07:32Today, they present themselves in the form of war, anti-democratic forces, and organized crime.
07:40More than for decades after the Malvinas War, the South American continent is once again fearful of the military presence of an extra-regional power.
07:50The limits of international law are being tested. Armed intervention in Venezuela would be a humanitarian catastrophe for the hemisphere and a dangerous precedent for the world.

20:01A set of supercritical carbon dioxide power generation units began commercial operation on Saturday in southwest China's Jinshu province,
20:10making the country a pioneer in the global commercialization of this technology.
20:15Supercritical carbon, also known as Shaotan-1, is a unique fluid state of carbon dioxide that can only be generated at a specific temperature and pressure.
20:27Scientists aim to take advantage of its high capacity for mutability between liquid and gaseous states to use it in energy conversion.
20:36By leveraging these properties, the new power generation units, which capture waste heat from industrial processes,
20:45achieve higher efficiency than conventional steam-based systems.
20:49According to Shang-Chi-O-Dong, Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Department at Dongfang Electric Corporation,
20:58the use of this volatile product represents a milestone in energy generation and could radically change the country's key sector.
