JANUARY AT SK GAMING WRAP UP
Transcript
00:00So, hi again everyone! Since the format was so successful in 2020, we've decided we're
00:05going to be keeping you updated throughout 2021 with what's happening regarding SK's teams.
00:10And with that being said, let's just jump right in and start it off with some good old League of
00:14Legends. The LEC has finally started after a very long break and we've found ourselves with an 80%
00:26renewed roster. I've presented them to you already in past videos so I won't go there,
00:31but we finally got to see the team in action after a few promising scrims weeks. And honestly,
00:36for a bunch of rookies that had never really played together, it's quite crazy to see them
00:41pull off the stuff that they do in game. We started the split with a dominant win versus
00:45Astralis in the very first week, but then fell to Rogue and G2 in the next two days. That being said,
00:50these are the first and second place teams respectively and with rosters that had very
00:54little changes made to them. So if you consider that, you'll be hard-pressed to know that we
00:58still had a really great performance even through the losses. Week 2 started with a bummer of a loss
01:04against our German brother Miracle Run Schalke, in a game that really could have gone either way.
01:09But Week 2 brought us our second win as well against Misfits, proving once and for all that our
01:14French guy might be lower tier than Hans Sama for now, but that he surpassed Vithio in baguette points.
01:19Oui oui Monsieur Jesus, oui oui. SK Prime on the other hand has already played 7 matches,
01:24and we'll be playing their 8th today, either before or after publishing this video. Maybe they're
01:29even playing it at the time you're watching this, so tab on over to Twitch and find the
01:33Prime Link's official channel if you want to catch the boys in action on the Rift. So far,
01:37we've fallen thrice against Gamer Legion, Maus and Big, but we've obliterated Penta, ESG,
01:43ad hoc gaming, and just yesterday, the very same brother Miracle Run Schalke.
01:54This is also a completely renewed roster apart from the top lane, so exactly like the LEC,
02:00but they've been bringing some really odd stuff to pro play, and somehow, they're making it work.
02:05I mean, how many pro Draven games have you seen? How many pro Riven? They're definitely a sight to
02:10behold.
02:29Still regarding League, but on a completely separate subject? Trouble Link has joined our content team,
02:34and we'll be bringing you a lot of League of Legends content, not only on YouTube, but on our other
02:39platforms as well. In fact, shameless promotion time! Have you checked the League content in this
02:44page lately? You've got interviews with the new boys, you've got voice comms for every single
02:48weekend, you've got patch update analysis vouched by our very own pro players, and you've even got
02:54a Lee Sin challenge, where the players play blindfolded. That deserves a click, come on.
02:59FIFA has also been having a jolly old time, ranking third in a virtual Bundesliga by the time I'm writing
03:04this. Last time we spoke, we'd played 11 matches already, and now in January, you can add five
03:09more to that list, and of those, we managed to win three and tie the other two, essentially being
03:14completely undefeated in the whole month of January, which is completely insane if you think about it.
03:20Also still regarding FIFA, two new content creators have joined the team, namely Delexit, whom you can
03:25find livestreaming on Twitch or also in her very own revamped YouTube channel, the link for which you'll
03:30find in the description, but she's not the only one joining SK. Niklas Neo also streams and also uploads,
03:35but more importantly, he posts stuff like this on Twitter. So make sure to follow one of the funniest
03:40and best German FIFA content creators out there. Moving on to mobile stuff, you know how it's like
03:45with Brawl Stars, right? We really do enjoy keeping things on the shh side. So for now, you'll know
03:50that our coach of the year Pedro and Sky will be wearing our jersey next year. The rest of the team,
03:55though, I can promise you an announcement is coming soon. Clash Royale is also on the move lately with a
04:00no-tilt league where our very own Morton and Sam have represented Germany. 2021 is not only going
04:05to be a winning year for Clash Royale with Sam and Morton on our side, but it will also be a year in
04:10which we bring you a lot more of this synergy for video making. So stay hyped for that and spam the
04:15comments down below with suggestions for Clash Royale content that you'd like to see them play out.
04:20Finally, we'll end on two important notes. Firstly, Lidl has become our official partner this month and they've
04:26come out with the banger of an announcement video, which you can check out on our Twitter,
04:29which I'm sure you already follow. And also, our brand new Nike jersey for 2021 has just been
04:35released in our store. So if you'd like to grab one of those for yourself, make sure to head on to
04:39store.sk-gaming.com and rock out the vestments when you're watching our games. Just to give us that
04:45little edge like Goku does. Thank you for sticking with us for 2021 and let's have a banger year all
04:54round. See you guys!
