43:50My parents were both junior hockey coaches
43:55And they were hit by a drunk driver
43:59When I was 12 years old
44:00Mercifully for them
44:02They died instantly
44:04Mercifully for me
44:06The St. Thomas Scholarships existed
44:09I didn't have anybody else to help me
44:14Had a lot of memories
44:17A love of hockey
44:18And
44:19A huge hole in my heart
44:20St. Thomas filled it with hope
44:24The hope of a new family

44:28Things weren't always easy

44:31For anybody

44:34I found what I was missing
