00:02As the 2026 tax season approaches, Trump said tax refunds could be larger due to changes enacted
00:07in 2025 through his big, beautiful bill, according to CNBC. Trump said during a primetime White
00:14House address that next spring could bring the largest refund season on record. Tax experts
00:19said refunds depend on 2025 taxes paid and which provisions apply to each filer. Enacted in July,
00:26the law included a larger standard deduction, an expanded child tax credit, a higher state and
00:31local tax deduction cap, a $6,000 senior tax break, and deductions for auto loan interest,
00:37tips, and overtime pay. The Tax Foundation estimates these changes cut individual income taxes by $144
00:44billion in 2025. The IRS did not update withholding tables, which may result in larger refunds when
00:51returns are filed in 2026. For all things money, visit Benzinga.com.
