00:32the President of Turkmenistan noted that neutrality has provided
00:36a strong foundation for the country's development and progress.
00:41Thank you to the peace and openness today,
00:46we have reached an unprecedented level of trust,
00:49understanding and cooperation of Turkmenistan
00:53with dozens of states on a two-stant level
00:57and in the framework of a multidimensional association
01:00with the support of international institutions.
01:03Today, in the simple geopolitical circumstances,
01:07peace and trust have a special importance and value.
01:11A few hours before the start of the international conference on peace and trust,
01:16the ceremonial unveiling of the renovated neutrality monument took place.
01:21The new complex represents global efforts to establish peace, security and cooperation.
01:27United Nations believe that neutral countries have a crucial role to play.
01:32We have really growing number of tensions, growing number of conflicts.
01:38And when we are looking for the solutions,
01:40we need somebody who would look at the conflict from all the sides,
01:44because all the conflicts have different viewpoints.
01:47And unless you can understand all these positions of all the countries participating in the conflict,
01:53you can't find a long-lasting solution, you can't create peace.
01:58That's why the role of countries who are neutral, like Turkmenistan,
02:02who are really trying to listen to everybody,
02:06to provide a platform for dialogue and discussions, is huge.
02:10As part of the celebrations for 30 years of neutrality, an exhibition was held
02:18where Turkmenistan's achievements in the fields of energy, innovation, sports
02:23and agricultural production were presented.
02:29Central Asia is an important region.
02:31It is at the crossroads of geopolitical interests, economic interests.
02:36It's really a crossroads. It's the heart of the huge Eurasian space.
02:41And it is important to keep this space in peace and stability.
02:45And Turkmenistan plays its role here through their permanent neutrality policy.
02:52Turkmenistan also hosted an international conference on the role of women in modern society.
02:59At the Avaza National Tourist Zone, participants examined the challenges women face around the world.
