00:40Despite all that, Avicii's death was initially mysterious because he had been spotted on this vacation in Oman,
00:47taking pictures with fans and seemed reasonably healthy and in good spirits.
00:51However, shockingly, only days ago, Avicii's family released a heartbreaking statement that hinted the DJ may have taken his own life.
00:59It reads in part, he really struggled with thoughts about meaning, life, happiness.

01:07Well now, those suicide suspicions have been confirmed.
01:10TMZ is reporting Avicii did in fact take his own life, and horrifically, he did it with broken glass.
01:16TMZ's sources differ on exact details, but they agree Avicii broke a bottle, possibly a wine bottle,
01:23and used the sharp broken glass to either cut open his neck or wrist.
01:27Sources also differ on that.
01:29What is clear is Avicii was alone and then bled to death from his self-inflicted wounds.
01:34The statement Avicii's family released before this tragic news broke went on to say,

01:43When he stopped touring, he wanted to find balance in life to be happy.
