00:00And the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America categorically rejects the U.S. declaration on its decision to totally and completely block oil tankers to Venezuela and its intention to steal its natural resources.
00:14In a statement, Alban announced before the peoples of the world the serious, reckless and supremacist threat made on December 16th of this year by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
00:28This declaration, which announces a total blockade and the forced appropriation of Venezuelan resources, constitutes an act of international aggression that grossly and flagrantly violates the Charter of the United Nations, international law and the most basic principles of coexistence among states.
00:46The communique also states that the peoples and governments of ALBA express their full and unrestricted solidarity with the President Nicolás Maduro, the Bolivarian government and the Venezuelan people and warn that any aggression against Venezuela is an aggression against all of our America.
01:05They also called on the peoples of the world and social movements to reject the criminal threat and defend the right of peoples to decide their own destiny and reaffirm that our America is not a colony or the backyard of any empire.
01:21Venezuela is not alone. Free peoples will defend peace, sovereignty and dignity against any attempt at domination.
