00:00We can see increasing each week, I think it's an 18% increase this week from last week,
00:05in terms of those numbers of patients in hospital with flu.
00:09And then we've got a lot of patients out of community who are unwell with flu as well.
00:13And it is a particularly nasty version of flu.
00:16I think people who've had it will recognise that it isn't very nice to have.
00:21But we're really grateful, or I'm very grateful, to the public for the response they've had.
00:25We've seen an increase in the number of vaccines given, over a million from when the start of this wave of flu came in.
00:35And I think that's really important, that we see that reaction, and that's really helped us.
00:40The good thing is that we're seeing some areas where we're seeing possibly a sort of peaking of the number of cases,
00:49but that still means things are really busy, because we're at the height of it.
00:52But hopefully when we start to see things coming down, we've got Christmas coming up.
