01:56right direction and moving in the right direction that doesn't necessarily mean that you're always
02:01going to win okay yeah but you could be moving in the right you could be moving in the wrong direction
02:06and then you still win but we know what we're doing we know that we're in the right in the space
02:11to be able to position ourselves to be a team that could be talked about playing in the finals at
02:18the end of the year so our knicks beat writer for the post steph bondi uh reported that the knicks are
02:24not going to hang that banner up the nba cup banner if it was if it was your knicks if it was your
02:30knicks y'all won the nba cup would you want that banner at hung high i'm not i'm not a fan of the

03:18i'm looking for the chip to have a feeling in which no one on earth can tell me how good i could feel
03:27after we win because you said we couldn't and i think these are the steps this is what we want to
03:33work towards so you want the chip the real chip the real chip you already you got the nba cup you
03:41so that's a that's a that's a milestone checked off we can agree with that that's it's a tournament
03:47inside this season this is it's where it means something but that's not the focus and you're talking
03:53about progressing forward moving forward mike brown is he that is he the right coach that's
04:00going to move this team forward with what they've already done so far i think we're showing signs of
04:06a team with all of what these guys have learned from playing under tibbs they play in a defensive
04:13structure okay and them playing in a defensive structure where everything is predicated on
04:19defense it's about they establish themselves as a team who as a team know how to get on the court and
04:26play defense so they incorporated something and they got something in which they can use now with
04:33a coach who is an offensive juggernaut okay and he understands how to win on the defensive end because
04:40he's been where he was able to watch it's easy to be an assistant coach and make a decision after the
04:47play but as a head coach you're making decisions in real in the moment of what's actually happening
04:54so mike brown was able to experience that see that evaluate when feel it enjoy it celebrate all of
05:02that and then now he comes to new york where he's ready for that because he's already been in the
05:08atmosphere of it so winning the cup is great it's it's it pushes momentum towards something super
05:14positive in the city you go out anywhere it's electric in new york right now people don't even

06:12it was a super quick adjustment it wasn't hard it wasn't it was very easy to do and because
06:19mike is understanding and he's watching the film too he can adjust as well and we can see this is
06:26the result so you take the defensive mindset and philosophies of tips now you got the
06:31offensive mindset and philosophies of mike brown they have a deeper bench and rotation this year
06:39is it safe to say that this is the deepest and maybe best new york team new york knicks team in recent
06:46years i wouldn't necessarily say the best deepest i would say the most unique team okay why is that
06:54because the game has changed it's not the same game the infrastructure of basketball is completely

11:00but when they shift and they change and people start saying damn i think the next gonna win

12:52so we started shooting at the end i was soaking wet i was drinks my drawers was wet i had to go home
12:58you already know i had to get in the uber like oh my god i would have brought a change of clothes
13:03so i'm like damn i can't even really change i played this game it's so much fun the next day i
13:10call a founder i'm like yo what you doing i was like this in china is on steroids this is this is od
13:17i'm basically going crazy telling him like how dope this would be because literally you're changing
13:23their percentages in basketball with shooting guys use a shooting machine to pass them the ball okay

14:52100 plus years old if you can shoot you can play if you're in shape which is a lot of people i know
14:57people in china 80 90 almost 100 years old walking around you don't even know how old they are they
15:02just move around on the court they just pass the basketball they shoot and they do it some of them
15:07they do it in the cold well ball man i'm telling you it's it's a new game changer you know it's a
15:13lot to speak and talk about to explain but just remember the money ball and the game changer shot
15:18okay the game changer shot is worth five points the red white and blue ball that's worth two points
15:24all of the regular basketballs they're worth one okay there's spots all over the court
15:29right so it's just spot shooting okay you shoot pass follow your pass and then you go into
15:34a triangle and you just go as fast as you can into spots game is up to 10. yeah you play for 27 minutes
15:42after you play for 27 minutes if the score is like 32 24 and you got 24 i got 32. now we have rapid
15:52shooting okay for three minutes continuous shooting i shoot run and get my rebound pass it back to you
15:56get behind the line and we keep doing that in continuance for three minutes and now we're hoping that
16:01you miss so we can get back in the game because the rapid shooting is worth two points okay you get
16:06what i'm saying so then now that's if we now we play one game after you shoot the different spots
16:12the 27 minutes then we do the three then if you win you go into the championship you lose you play in
16:18the constellation championship i got an idea shoot it football i got an idea no no no no no my brain is
16:25working right now because we talk about how the nba all-star game is trash oh can we replace the nba
16:33all-star game with well first we wanted first we presented it to the knicks we're trying to you know
16:39see if we can get on at halftime okay so we can introduce it to the fans so that the fans come out
16:46and play so when like you know they do the half court shot like okay we like the half court shot
16:51but can we do this with several well 12 people can play and then you have like a match like for like
16:58five it could be five to eight minutes and then they shoot it out and then they can come back the
17:02following months okay and then they play the championship have your own little in-season well
17:07ball tournament for next halftime exactly so and then you give a prize 25 000 50 000 100 000 because you
17:14get sponsors to be part of it so now all of the sponsors jump on it because all of the spots on
17:20the floor all of those spots are sponsorship spots i'm like the way your brain works i can only imagine
17:27if you had nil back in the day like how business minded you are i'm one of the first kids that they

18:51different color changes prismatic lenses where we got violent gray like blue we did something for the

19:05yeah so we did something like that you know we got something you could talk on the phone um listen to
19:11your music i mean i try to get into all of the new tech stuff that's coming out that will allow the next
19:19generation of kids to have access to something that's you know dope fly cool and affordable um i've been
19:27doing that since i did my shoes with starberry when i was selling shoes for fifteen dollars and clothes
19:32same style same look just under fifteen dollars you know and for me i think it's important to
19:40stay in the continuance of trying to let the next generation of kids know even if you're not the most
19:47educated you can be educated to learn how to do something don't get stuck on people telling you oh

19:59and then put all your love and your energy into it it's it's going to tap into something good passion
20:05to get you farther or motivate you more than i believe anything else in life if you find your you

20:16as athletes if it was for if it was to go to math class if it was just to do like open up an Abercrombie
20:22and fish not doing that but we were doing it because we absolutely loved our sport and we knew
20:28we had a vision on where we wanted to uh to take that tyler cola just had his best game overall game
20:36as a nick what do you seen from him in terms of his growth in his second year you know we were in
20:42abu dhabi and i was talking to his parents and they were like oh man you know i said your son's
20:47going to play this year it was like we hope so you know i said trust me he's been working hard he's
20:53going to play you can see the growth on his on his game from him putting in the work you know what i'm
20:59saying now he got different moves he's finishing he's figuring things out so i can tell him going up
21:05against jalen every day is helping him because you can see he's starting to take some of the same
21:10mannerism and temperament on the court which is good because they're both lefties it's hard
21:14and when they put them on the court together it's even it could get nasty and we start playing small
21:19ball and we got mitch out there and og and heart like you could go small ball like when because deuce
21:27is out guys are stepping up filling in spots it was great to see him play the way how he played
21:33i was so happy and so proud as a guard because i sent them some like yo if you ever need help with this

22:02so seeing him play the way he played and i had confidence in him i'm like yo this boy white
