00:23I've been drawn into nothing so far in the time I've been in charge,

00:27because it's such a difficult job, but it's one I feel that they didn't get right tonight.

00:32And the explanation around the touch being too far away from goal doesn't quite sit well with me

00:40What impact do you feel it had? Because obviously you did start rightly as well.

00:44Yeah, listen, if he goes through, he has an opportunity on goal.

01:03I can't control any of that, really, so I try and focus on what I can control.

01:10How did you sum up the performance overall then?

01:12A lot of courage, a lot of conviction and bravery in how we played,

01:16because we had to play, missing some players to the front line.

01:20We had a one-day prep, really, after the Leeds game on Sunday,

01:23where we changed the system, how we built, how we pressed.

01:28Testament to the players, really.

01:30How intelligent they are, how adaptable they are,

01:32how game-intelligent they are and versatile they are.

01:35And I wanted us to play tonight.

01:37We had to play, especially with the personnel that we went with tonight.

01:41We picked as competitive as a team as I felt we could.

01:44And I felt there was moments where we could have punished City,

01:49we just didn't quite take the extra pass.

01:51The key moment, the bouncing ball, a couple of offsides, really close.

01:55And we restricted them to very little.

01:59So I'm very proud of the performance,

02:00but unfortunately couldn't quite get what we needed tonight.

02:03And obviously, you've got Thiago or Jordan Henderson in the squad tonight.

02:06What's the situation regarding them?

02:08How likely are they going to be available for the weekend?

02:11Yeah, they didn't quite make this one.
