07:19were taken they just had this great bond you know he made me my made him and we just kind of were the
07:26same losing him was the hardest thing I've ever had to do what was Leon like don't stop it spoiled me
07:38for other dogs does that make sense hopefully okay why have you decided that now's the time for a dog
07:44because I've been wearing them down for eight years and they finally said yes the every Christmas
07:50my Christmas this is dog clothes dog toys subtle hints like that Kira's commitment is quite impressive
07:59so I've been trying to put off here having a dog trying to protect her from that pain that comes from

08:22like that because then you can do like agility with them you can go they like playing fetch you can train

09:22match well with what Keira's looking for that spaniel energy she's not enjoying life in kennels she's just gone really withdrawn I've seen the other side to her her personality she's cheeky fizzy funny
09:39trick training that's brilliant in dogs who are a little bit more nervous and so if that's something
09:45that Keira is looking to do I think that will really really help Luna settle into a home I think she's a good
09:54little match I just don't think first impressions are gonna be great okay so we have found you the very pretty labradoodle
10:09her name is Luna now Luna's having a really hard time here in kennels and she's gone into a shell and done
10:27and done this she may struggle initially so in order not to overwhelm her what we'd like to do is start
10:40with you two it's essentially got the experience and it's your dog yeah would you like to meet Luna
10:47absolutely so just here and I get to decide whether they get to meet the dog oh I'll take that in Kira you
10:55lead the way here and her name is Luna Luna's not always happy and goofy with Luna's previous home she
11:09wasn't able to go out of the house much and she didn't get many of the opportunities that sort of a
11:13young puppy would normally get which has resulted in her becoming more nervous and timid of new
11:18things we just need someone to be really patient with her and give her the time and the space to
11:24come out of her shell on her own terms when you're in her club she'll be your best friend forever
11:30excited you like the idea of the name Luna yeah I do I don't think there's anyone who's done her
11:45homework more than Kira has she's clued up on dogs she knows all the breeds she's got a lot of compassion
11:51oh my god it's so cute I took it across she couldn't stop smiling everywhere she looked
11:59because there's just dogs everywhere she came back so happy she could be our dog I want to try and get
12:10my dog to be able to do lots of tricks you're you're teaching this dog something you know you're you're
12:15showing this dog that you know you you can help it do stuff I'm helping the dog learn something new

43:12with him that he'd have somebody else that he could bounce off to give him a new lisa life
43:16i thought queen was adorable but she instantly put him in his place um we both have sort of
43:24reservations around if she keep up with him we had a long talk about it and then in the end
43:31we decided not to however we did find him a friend tammy come here good girl hello hello
43:43we came across tammy in our local dog rescue center she was a stray and now she's part of the family
43:52she's a little softy they give each other kisses and uh they're just really good together i think
43:59good boy look yeah and her and chico spend all their time chasing each other which is what we wanted
44:06go go ahead you tired now jiki chico's definitely a lot more content he's just happier in himself
44:13again but he's also it's not like he's obsessed with her either you can very much let her go and
44:19do her own thing but he seems more content that she's in the house definitely chico time again
44:24lock on together before we could even consider taking jenny we had to do lots of thinking it was a
44:36really big decision that we had to make really which took all of about 40 seconds
44:43so jenny is now named dotty dotty she's fantastic i absolutely worship her little paws that touch the
44:59ground that's it love at first sight like totally dotty's coming out of the shell now oh she certainly
45:07is she's very mysterious she had the builders lunch away don't like mr santa dotty do you like me about a
45:23humbug good girl you don't use your arms more to try and stroke her don't you yeah yeah all right dotty
45:34that's amazing yeah she just makes me happy you know mornings and evenings jumping on my bed
45:44is fantastic for me to see you and dotty together your face just lights up rick and it's it's just
45:52priceless just made a massive difference
