00:00so I guess first tell me what does it mean to you to be honored tonight well

00:09first of all I think just to be with the other honorees and to see my name with

00:14them I think I feel very honored and secondly I I'm so happy that the gin

00:19next awards are honoring women and you know what we're all doing to try to kind

00:25of further our industry and ourselves and I think that that's just an amazing

00:29thing to be a part of I'm just so grateful that I get to be in this room

00:33with all of these amazing women who are really just forging the way in the

00:38marketing and media and entertainment industry you know I'm excited to really

00:41like more than just say my own two cents but to actually be a fly on the wall and

00:47listen to what everybody else has to say and hear about what everybody else is

00:51working on it's really great I think that it's really incredible that they're

00:54focusing on young women who are trying to enter into this industry at a time

01:00where women are really stepping to the forefront and banding together and

01:03saying this is what we deserve this is what we're worth and this group of women

01:08is no different really excellent people I looked at this list of women and I was

01:12like oh I want to belong on that list that was pretty nice I used to live my

01:16life a little bit more afraid in the way that I think a lot of women do where

01:19you're like oh I'm supposed to be like this let me try to be it and then one day I

01:22was just like you know what I'm just gonna be myself and like let the chips

01:26fall where they may and life got better so I feel like all I'm doing just like

01:30being my very much myself being myself as loud as possible and hopefully that

01:35just opens up a little bit of space for someone else to be like maybe I could do

01:39that you put out the work that you wanted to put out you put out things

01:42that speak to your heart you try to speak you know there's so much going on in

01:46the world especially now it's like you just try to be honest about like where

01:50you're at what you're trying to do the work that you're trying to put

01:52out there just to have people react and respond to it in a way that it feels

01:56special it's kind of it's just an honor you know
