02:29so me being young i'm thinking like oh it got to be macaulay coking in there yeah not realizing he

02:40and i remember watching this movie i was so disappointed man i thought it was so corny

10:10so sure is that like for tiktok baddies is that what we're doing this is for like beauty like

10:44that started and i was like that is a time sink and i don't want to do that and the instagram was

10:53should that's actually pretty good yeah i should fall in that one and that recognized the create
10:58excellence using cap cut editing tools it's weird because my theory on award shows you heard me
11:05when we were talking about the espies around that time of year i just feel like award shows exist for
11:11creative mediums where you kind of need that you know you need that judging that larger judging pool
11:18to determine value it doesn't make sense for sports i think in theory it makes sense for tiktoks i just
11:24don't understand like it i'm kind of curious like we're taking go i don't like the theory of making
11:30tiktok into more of hey this is this is a show like we're going to continue to make this into a
11:35show because it feels like it's better as a as a social medium as it's still feeling pure to peer
11:41and it feels like this award pushes it even further towards like nah man you got you got the people who
11:45are making the people who are watching but it's about growth too and i think that's what they're
11:49looking at kind of growing the platform growing the i guess the platforms that they can use it on i guess
11:55so i say all that while also not carrying one lick about this one way or the other so yeah and then
12:01by the way the last one they got on here is the live creator of the year so people who thrived on
12:06being on tiktok live and the other thing about this that's funny is most people are not going to
12:11know any of these people at all they're not going to know them they would maybe see the tiktok or see
12:17the you know the thing but they might oh that guy yeah that's a funny that's also a thing that i
12:20hadn't thought about until you just mentioned it tiktok and instagram reels and all these things like
12:25they've they they thrive on an algorithm that gives you directly specifically what you want
12:29award shows are seemingly about like something closer to monoculture or like things that we all
12:34know it's such a antithetical thing to what tiktok is is i give you specifically what you want to see
12:40and things that you like and this award show is it's it's so weird taking this thing that is so new
12:45age and trying to fit it in an old school box it's dumb it's dumb in my brain yeah and kind of
12:50not really related to this but kind of a farewell i don't know if you guys saw this i think this
12:56just kind of came down from the ap um the oscars will move to youtube in 2029 leaving the long time
13:05home of abc makes sense probably a good move too to be honest yeah yeah i mean it's kind to me it's kind
13:15of uh with me repeating how we are here pretty much yeah like everything going to some type of
13:22streaming service or anything like that and youtube i mean say what you want youtube is up there with
13:28the big dogs pretty much yeah that's what i'm saying just makes sense streaming games and stuff like that
13:32so uh i think it kind of makes sense it's kind of shocking that they they're leaving abc too
13:39because i feel like you will probably do both yeah and maybe they will do both before 2029
13:45but i'm like dang you just cutting out their the just the regular tv yeah but this this used to be
13:52one of those big things that you know abc builds around right obviously sports dominates everything
13:57and now it's becoming even more so that sports is the only thing that mores like even television in
14:04general to it but when when the big when the big uh broadcasters are giving up the what used to be
14:10tent poles in the seasons that feels like a big uh-oh moment in the way that all of this it feels
14:16like we're knocking everything over basically yeah because like the the one thing i thought about was
14:21super bowl because super bowl is always on regular tv i wonder if it's going to get ever get to a point
14:27where oh don't wonder it will it will i think the question is when yeah yeah because the oscars and it says
14:33i just looked it up while you were talking uh streaming free worldwide that's going to be
