00:00Christian, I want to ask you, President Trump also says the EU is undermining its own democracy.
00:07Is the EU doing that? Is it undermining democracy?
00:11That's got nothing to do with migrants. Is that a political way things are going?
00:17I think, of course, Norway is not a member of the EU.
00:20I think the reason for Norwegians to say no to the EU is that we feel that it's a power that we don't have influence on.
00:28There are actually, the European Parliament has taken over a lot of control from the national states.
00:36And, of course, that's very critical for Norway to accept that.
00:40We're trying to keep ourselves an independent country and not an EU country, an European country, but independent national decisions.
00:48But this is actually, right now, this is a minor issue because we have the same challenges regarding immigration that Norway has to do to Europe.
00:56And if you listen to J.D. Vance, when he was in Munich at the security conference just a few months back,
01:03and he was saying that, why should the United States save Europe if they don't want to save themselves?
01:09And, of course, that's a very important point.
01:13And that's what the U.S. is actually saying.
01:14That's what Vance is saying, and Trump is saying also that if he's not willing to save our own country,
01:21our own nationality, our own borders, spend nothing on the defense, and actually looking at immigration in critical terms,
01:28the U.S. is not coming to Norway and save us through NATO.
01:32And that's a big concern for us.
01:34And we need to have an immigration policy that actually is able to care of our own culture,
01:41our own national culture.
01:42Norway for 2,000 years, Norwegian culture.
01:45It has developed, but it has developed on Christian values, and the Christian values are different than the Muslim values.
01:52And in Oslo now, 25% of the population are Muslims, meaning that happened only in 30, 40 years.
01:59And if you look at the statistics, of course, in due time, 10, 15, 20 years from now,
02:04there will be 50% Muslim population in Oslo.
02:09So this is going to happen unless you change it.
02:13And, of course, talking about Israel and the Jews, there are 50 million Jews in the world,
02:19and they are surrounded by 1 billion Muslims, and that seems to be the big problem for many people.
02:26The Jews are 50 million people.
02:28And remember, there are very few.
02:31In Norway, there are 1,500 Jews.
02:33They still have a problem actually going out in the street and showing the signs of their faith.
02:40So this is...
02:41But, I mean, Muslims only make up less than 5% of the global population,
02:47where they're geographically spread out.
02:49I mean, why is that...
02:51That's not true.
02:52There are 1.6 billion Muslims in Norway.
02:54Sorry, in Norway.
02:55My apologies.
02:56I misspoke.
02:57I meant in Norway's population.
02:59So they're not overrunning.
03:02There are 1,500 Jews in Norway.
03:07Their embassy is actually protected by police and barrage in order to not get to the embassy.
03:12They are afraid of going to school.
03:14They are being actually harassed at school.
03:18There are so few.
03:19And even they are being harassed.
03:20And why are they being harassed?
03:21It's because they're Jews.
03:23There's no other reason for that.
03:24That's anti-Semitism.
03:26That's anti-Semitism.
03:27That's how it works.
03:28There's no excuse for that.
03:32There's no excuse for that.
03:33There's no excuse for that.

03:41There's no excuse for that.
03:42There's no excuse for that.
03:43There's no excuse for that.
03:44There's no excuse for that.
03:45There's no excuse for that.
03:46There's no excuse for that.
03:47There's no excuse for that.
03:48There's no excuse for that.
03:49There's no excuse for that.
03:50There's no excuse for that.
