00:00I know that your delegation has a very busy schedule, and you have just delivered a speech at the Gimel University, which is an institution where a lot of people attending this meeting have graduated from.
00:30We very much appreciate the regular and trust-based dialogue established between our ministries, and it follows the truly friendly dialogue that is maintained by our leaders.
01:00And of course, the very fact that this meeting is already fifth meeting in 2025 says a lot about us coordinating our foreign political affairs, and especially since today we are signing for the very first time the plans of consultations between our ministries for the years of 2026 and 2027.
02:00Obviously, the most important milestone event this year in our relations is signing and ratification of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty that sets a special privileged nature of our cooperation and sets goals across the board for the next 20 years.
02:32President Putin and President Pesaskin met in Ashgabat.
03:02A few days ago, and there they discuss the objectives that we have enshrined in this vital document, and today we have a good opportunity to discuss our contribution to accomplishing these objectives, these goals.
03:32And I'm sure that today we will pay a lot of attention to discussing various regional and international situations to strengthen
04:02the nuclear program, the situation in the Middle East, first of all in the Palestinian territories, and a number of other matters that are traditionally on our agenda.
04:32I'm very glad to see you once again. Welcome.
04:56Good afternoon, esteemed Minister Lavrov.
05:14I'm very glad to have this opportunity today to see you today.
05:20Thank you for the invitation to visit Moscow on an official and a state visit.
05:26As you said, our consultations have become truly regular, and they emphasize the tight-knit relations between our countries.
05:44And we continue to consult on all the matters of mutual interest, and this fact is proven by the fact that our presidents met a lot of meetings throughout this year.
05:58And of course, we also met either in Moscow or in Tehran, or during various international fora, we also have regular meetings.
06:13I can say that the relations between Russia and Iran are comprehensive and full-fledged.
06:21And to be frank, our bilateral relations cover all the political, all the economic, cultural and social sectors.
06:36As you said, signing and ratifying our comprehensive strategic partnership treaty gave a strong impetus to our bilateral relations.
06:57And our president, in Ashgabat, literally last Friday discussed everything related to our bilateral relations.
07:14And of course, today, we have an opportunity to discuss in more detail all the matters related to our relations in all the sectors.
07:30And of course, we have an opportunity to discuss regional and international agenda, and not only in our region, but all the situations around the Russian Federation.
07:49And I'm happy to know that Russian and Iran share similar approaches regarding to almost all the items on the international agenda.
08:05And of course, we support each other in this regard at various international fora.
08:11And I can reaffirm that our bilateral relations are becoming closer and closer with each day.
08:19And I would like to separately thank our Russian counterparts and the Russian Federation for supporting us when we were attacked,
08:37when our nuclear infrastructure was attacked by Israel and the United States.
08:42And of course, we need to hold close consultations on the occasion of possible future incidents like this.
08:59And I would like to thank you once again for your invitation and for the traditional Russian hospitality.
09:07Well, you have not seen our hospitality yet today.
09:10We have not done that yet.
